After the whole incident with the other vampire child, I had three new friends and three friends that were starved for friends.h.i.+p as I was. Especially, since we all seemed to grow up under the thumb of our respective parents.

Not that it was a bad thing to grow up that way, but our parents are too overprotective in that department. I mean in their defense I was only five.

What a pain…

Rolling my shoulders, I walk down the hall with Herma in tow. She had a foxish grin on her face as she follows behind me. She was probably the most excited, outside of myself, about my newfound friends.

She started to call our get-togethers, 'play dates', I can't help but cringe at that saying. It was her favorite saying now, she was always asking when I was getting together with my friends for a 'play date.'

I'd have to get her to stop calling it that.

"Miss, when are your friends coming over?" Herma asks me as I take a turn into the library.

We have a vast library; books were somewhat expensive in this day and age. However, there was a public library as well. Which allowed those without an absorbent amount of wealth to have a chance to read and learn.

However, it was normal for a rich household to have a private library.

This was great for me, I had some things that I wanted to brush up on and learn about. There are too many G.o.ds and G.o.ddesses' that are interested in me at the moment. I didn't want to be pushed around by them; I hadn't been reborn to become a pushover.

"They'll be over soon enough, for now, I plan to wait for them in here. Just have the butler bring them to the library when they arrive," I tell her.

She bows her head and turns to another maid that's behind her and tells her something. Without wasting a breath, the other maid heads off and now it's just Herma and me within the library.

Standing before the vast wealth of knowledge, I quickly realize that I have no idea where to start!

"Herma, can you bring me books that have information concerning the G.o.ddess of War, and the G.o.ddess of Death, also the G.o.d of Life? Then I'd also like some books that explain some the basics of each race," I say.

Her whole face lights up at my request. Without even breaking a step, she takes a slight bow and then quickly head off into the library. Her skirt making a soft swis.h.i.+ng sound as she leaves.

She really does love when I ask her for help. Since I'm a well-off young miss of a big family, I suppose, I don't really act like one. But that was probably just because of my past life, I didn't have someone waiting for hand and foot on me.

I couldn't help but chuckle, I'd be so screwed if this was the reverse, and I'd reincarnated into my past life from this life. I'd indeed miss these luxuries.

Pulling at the chair that was tucked under the table, I climb into the seat and sit. I might as well do something productive with my time now that Herma's off gathering my books.

Most things are the same, like my level and my t.i.tles. But I didn't have a chance to take a glance at the blessings.

Let just start at the top and work our way down.

Raising my right hand, I tap on the t.i.tle of 'Reincarnated Person' and a text box appeared in front of my page.

Well, it really looks like this was flavor text.

「Welcome! You've been reincarnated into our world. Because of that, you've been gifted the t.i.tle. This t.i.tle increases the amount of experience that you gain, it automatically doubles all the experience that you get, and also increases the base level of your stats by almost double! 」

I felt my lip twitch slightly, I could almost laugh. They're giving me cheats right off the back it would seem. Don't tell me that I was destined to become one of those cheat-like characters that I'd read about.

However, on the bright side, this meant that I would be able to quickly raise my level. I'd get a leg up in terms of level and that meant that I would also be stronger. My mother was level one hundred and three, I could probably reach that with some speed. Honestly, probably with some abnormal speed if I concentrated.

Waving a hand over the textbook it vanished and I reach out and tap my other t.i.tle 'Trainee War Empress.'

I felt bitter just looking at it, like last time a text box appears.

「Information about this t.i.tle has been sealed until you've reached level twenty-five」

Tsk!

That stingy G.o.ddess, I thought bitterly to myself, but I couldn't cry over spilled milk. I'd just have to reach level twenty-five, that shouldn't be that hard to accomplish, right?

I move down to the blessing.

「Given to all the kin of the G.o.ddess of death, this effect allows you to live forever, without mental deterioration, and eternal youth! 」

Looks like this is what keeps all the Vampires from dying from old age. It was still possible to die. It was just that the normal things like time didn't ravage the body like it would to the other races.

To combat that the birth rates for Vampires are severely lower than the other races. There are also a lot more complications with the birth of a vampire child.

Time to look at the detestable War G.o.ddess blessing.

「A modified version of the blessing generally handed out by the G.o.ddess of War. You who were once the kin of the G.o.ddess of War shall be blessed with an increased chance to increase one's level. 」

This was really looking to set me up as a broken character. I hadn't even looked at the special skills that I'd been given.

I felt like a greedy dragon as I look down at the three skills that I hadn't peaked at yet.

Moving down to the Unique skills, I quickly press the first skill.

Consuming until there was nothing left to be eaten. Taking the being of G.o.d's and creatures that he ate into himself. This skill can be considered taboo! 」

What an unsettling description…

This skill had a lot of potentials, it wasn't uncommon that when one was in a dungeon that they'd eat monster meat. It was common practice because until you reached a store or a rest area you'd be completely on your own.

A five percent chance was low, but that wasn't bad, it could have been one percent chance of obtaining a skill.

Onto the next skill.

「Bet it all on the dice. This skill allows you to either wage it all, for yourself or against someone else. If you wage with the dice, then you roll to see if you'll buff yourself, or if you'll be cursed.

If you roll only the dice with number's then your stats will be multiplied by the number rolled. The time limit is one minute, it'll increase as the level of the skill increase.

Rolling the dice with the smiling woman to either get a positive buff or a negative buff. A time limit of two minutes. This time limit can also be increased as the level goes up!

When the dice are rolled together, you can double that stats increase and buff, this is also applicable to a party when both dice are rolled together. A time limit of three minutes. Also, increase as the level of the dice increase.

More options will become available as the level of the skill increases. 」

What a headache of a skill, this one was something that reminded me of my past life. This was a skill that was tailored to me. Looks like sleeping dogs don't lie down for forever!

That was the only word that came to mind, this was just too nasty. This was something that only the G.o.ddess of War could come up with!

"What a b.i.t.c.h," I mutter to myself.

"What was that Miss?" Herma's voice sounds right next to my ear, I felt my whole entire body rock. I twist my head around and find that Herma is right next to me with a giant stack of books stacked next to her on the table.

"N-nothing Herma, are those the books?" I stutter slightly.

"Indeed, Miss, I found all the one that is relevant to what you need," she says with a smile as she moves back from me.

"Thank you, Herma," I say, quickly waving my left hand over the life page. It vanishes into nothingness, as if I was never there.

She gives me a warm smile, before taking another step back and giving me s.p.a.ce.

Sometimes, I forgot that Herma was like a ninja, and could sneak up whenever she wanted.
