Arachnomancer 29 Flesh To Fire

I didn't pay attention to when Sigrid started eating the stuff. What I do know is that after a few days she started to.... Change.... She would be greedily devouring the flesh off the veins as soon as they grew. Her eyes had a sort of crazed look. Her body had bloated and her own flesh would squirm under her skin.....

It only got worse from there.....

She would break out in fits of laughter and start talking in drow. I don't know what she was saying....I'd rather not know.... After that phase was the self-abusive phase. She would smash her face into the ground over and over. She broke most of her face doing that along with a good portion of her teeth. When me and Kess stopped her, she just smiled.

It was at that point that I stopped her from eating the eldritch meat. However, that had a horrible result as well..... Which leads to the current state. She.... It.... is now a blob of organic matter at this point. There is no distinguishable features. I think the bones are gone as well since what's left is almost like a liquidy goo inside a skin bag. They couldn't have just dissapeared so, they probably liquified as well.

I seriously wonder if I am more messed up than I first thought. No it's the situation. I'm not at fault.... Right? Xelu tilts her head while looking at me.....? Have you been getting more expressive?.... Anyways, next is the biggest issue. What to do with this. I could kill it. It's impossible to tell if it's living in misery or not though.

There is the other option as well.....

It changed from 'highly' to 'extremely'. I can't tell what sort of creature will be made from this. I do wonder if it would be another eldritch broodmother though. I am sorry about what happened to Sigrid. Who can tell if the original Sigrid is still hanging around in there or if she is 'dead'..... Well, the past can't be changed so..... I select yes.

I wait a little as I did with Xelu. I start reflecting on my actions a bit. Feeding eldritch meat to someone was a bad idea. The thing is..... I wanted to see what would happen. Just pure curiosity. What resulted could be considered an evil deed or a sin. The intentions.... Could they be considered bad? Probably. I realize that I'm changing in an indescribable way so, I might as well go along with it. Especially since I have no idea on how to prevent this change.

Unlike with Xelu I only had 2 two notifications pop up

I seem to have encountered another error. They seem to be a common occurrence.....? Let's see here. l.u.s.t is definitely out. Sins are dangerous things. Although not as bad as gluttony, l.u.s.t can be very troublesome. Xelu and Kess have auras that effect surrounding creatures so, there's a large chance that l.u.s.t would have one as well.

Now for option number two. Bone is an odd option. Would it become a skeleton? Bony web? Doesn't seem that impressive.... Well aspects like blood and ink have large potentials so bone might be in the same category.

As for deepfire.... What is deepfire? Fires from the deep? What is the deep? Perhaps its a concept in this world..... Who knows..... d.a.m.n, weird things always pop up. Getting options like eldritch and plaque for Xelu and getting gluttony and ancient for Kess. Now there is this.....

I'll probably pick it as well....? Now that I think about it, better options usually only appear for the second aspect. I think I have a clue as to why the first aspect options are better this time. The second aspect options are weird. A mummer, A jester, or a harelquin. They have subtle differences but in the end they all stem from the same thing. People in weird costumes being amusing.

Now what one should I choose? Well, I'm not too knowledgeable about the subtle differences so let's just go with jester. So a deepfire jester. Sounds ominous. Not as bad as a skeletal or l.u.s.ty jester. There is the arachnid part to take into account.....

Something weird is going to be born.

As I finalize my choices a dark blue flame with lighter blue edges manifests in front of my face. It's quite small. It starts to grow and eventually forms into a figure. Kess is basically a giant metal wolf spider, Set is a black widow, Xelu is..... Whatever she is.

This new being though. It would be an arachne. Well, not quite. It has a humanoid looking upper torso attached to the top of it's spider head. The spider head still has all It's features by the way. So you could say it is doubleheaded. As for what type of spider that is I have no clue. It has really thin limbs and its body is as well. It is only a little bigger than the humanoid torso on top.

The humanoid part is clothed in a flame set of jester clothes. The colors of it crisscrosses with dark and light blue flame. She is wearing a light blue smiling mask with a diamond and a heart under the quinted eyes. Her hat is split into two droops at the ends with bells at the ends. She looks at me, tilts her head, then nods.

"This is much better. Not a filthling drow.... That race was ohhh so vulgar. The new desires are wonderful. This body is quite nice as well." Nameless

She starts grabbing at her body but her hands just phase right through. She grows frantic as she tries even harder. It seems that she is similar to Set. Still, Set has a physical body. What her body is made up of is.... She isn't a burning gas right? No use contemplating over something like that.

"Right a name, hmmm...." Gin

As she grows upset over not having a physical body, I think. I don't know if she wants to be called Sigrid anymore. Just in case though, I should think of a good name as a sort of penance.....Hmmmm..... Fire.... Jester.... Fester? No, that's terrible. Let's make it a mix of G.o.d names.... Vulcan and loki..... Vulki? Hmmmm.....

As I sit and contemplate, the new broodmother collapses and sits motionless. Well I guess it is laying down. The spider part. I can't tell about facial expressions as it's face is covered by a mask.... Is she that upset about being intangible? You would not have to worry about most attacks though.

Set who had been quitely bonded to me sends over her thoughhts.

'We have a weirdo here.... Anyways, she better not want a physical body for the reasons I'm thinking.' Set

Set was the one that subdued Sigrid and she was upset afterwards. She started sending a lot of pure rage through telepathy then. Suddenly the new broodmother jumps up and seems to have come to terms with something

"I guess everything has it's pros and cons.... So, Gin, was it? I'd prefer a new name. Sigrid was nice and all but, that old self is gone." Nameless
