Arachnomancer 54 Change Of Plans

A week has pa.s.sed since I fist converted the trio into devoured elves.

It seems that plans need to be changed. The trio wanted to work from the inside to slowly bring the kingdom under my control but, with their current appearences it would be impossible. Disguise magic does exist but, high level individuals will be able to see through that. The biggest issue at the moment is to see if I can covert more drow into devoured elves. Sillith probably played a major role in conerting them.... Im also that I'm worried about is that this ring probably has a connection to Sillith... I swear, I hear it whispering at times. Why does beings keep on appearing.... Between the Zephyr Lord, that d.a.m.ned circus, and Sillith coming into play how many times now....

Forget it. I can only deal with it. Anyways, I had the elvish trio bring in a few more drow for experimentation. Surprisingly, they brought in a bunch of children.... Children are one of the major reasons why I didn't start a ma.s.sacre on the drow. I will still wage war but, not a genocide. Listening to Madam Farblight I learn a good bit on how drow society brings up children....

"Most drow would rather not raise children. Those who do either do so for 'amus.e.m.e.nt' or for labour. n.o.ble's keep their children as well to keep their bloodlines going. Oftentimes, children are sent to orphanages where a wide variety of things can go on. Orphanges are valuable resources in drow society as they produce most of the soldiers in the kingdom. Whether it is the religious factions, royalty, or n.o.bility, all factions want orphanges for this reason." Farblight

As to the reason why they sent children to be tested, they said that children's minds are very malleable. Although the trio has been converted their mindesets haven't gone through a major change. Although, they have reported new feelings and emotions along with horrible feelings when they do things they considered to be fine before.

That leads to now where I'm sitting in a room with plenty of children, basically holding them hostage as Kess' spiderlings are ready to crush them at any moment..... Set is binded to me while the broodmothers are ready to come in at any moment..... A lot of precautions but, they may be necessary. In my old world child soldiers existed so, for a more brutal world like this one...

As I tell them my intentions their eyes light up. A few start squirming in antic.i.p.ation. I thought drow children were supposed to be horrible? They are just like human children. Well, from my first impression anyways. The youngest one is about 7 years from what I can tell. Much more mature than human children but, that is most likely due to environment.

As I try to figure how to convert theses drow a prompt comes up.

System's a little buggy. Wonder what happened to punis.h.i.+ng the one who messed with it. It was most likely Sillith. She's a G.o.d isnt she? My knowledge is lacking in general so I can't even guess as to what is going on in that front. Vulki did mention aquiring 'special' books. Zyn Ve'r books I think she called them. They are ma.s.sive and have relation to some master scholar who loves to explore and acc.u.mulate knowledge.

Back to the matter at hand. I designate the children in front of me for conversion. Oddly enough, the ring glows blue and orange this time. Is it because mana is used? The new elves are a bit different as well.... The devoured elves share the same distinct features as the trio. However, the new elves have a blue-green skin color with blue eyes and hair. I'm guessing this is because I'm playing as much of a role as Sillith did with the previous three.... Wait, I thought a G.o.d was needed to convert drow? This spevies appears to be related to me..... Authority..... I focus on that word.

I check a few of the kids statuses as they are already subordinates. They were subordinated aling with a ma.s.sive amount of random drow when the trio was converted.

The trio who have been quietly waiting off to the side look surprised. Drun and Farblight look really happy while Inival is giving off a rather bewildered vibe. I go over and ask for their input on this....

"It doesn't matter if it is a devoured elf or whatever this new type is. As long as the 'drow' part is eliminated that's all that matters." Drun

"With this we can start some interesting plans as well. Establish a foothold into drow society as we cleanse it. We can even give you the 'sinners' who refuse to convert for experience!" Farblight

Uhhhh that's..... Well, I have decided to lower my morals down so I'll go along. Inival has a very weird expression. She's.... not going to cry, right?

"I have a rude request, great saint.... I wonder if it is possible to reconvert into the new type of elf....." Inival

We are all suprised by the suggestion but, I decide to go along with it. I guide mana to the ring but, a very odd situation occurs. Orange energy seeps out of Inival and locks in with the pure blue energy I release. It looks like puzzle pieces being put together as the energy lock together.....

???? I swear I hear heavy breathing as I look around. No one else seems to hear it as they observe the reaction happening to Inival.... Woah. The energies dance around and swirl into Inival. Her skin turns into a more beautiful red while her eyes and hair turn blue while small hints of green make their presence.
