'I'm gonna vomit.'

"Oh my f.u.c.king G.o.d, Ricky, relax!"

My palms are sweating.

"You think it's big enough for her?"

"Dude, that thing makes mount Fiji look small."

He hands me the small box,

"Remember, wait for the perfect time, then ask her."

"Ok, ok. Perfect time, then ask."

I can feel my heart pounding against my chest

"Ok, she's coming!"

I tuck the ring into my pocket just as she steps out.

She has on a fitted dark blue dress that shows her bare back and legs. She looks breathtaking.

"Shall we go my love?"

I hold out my hand and she grabs it,

"Um, I guess so."

A limo pulls into the parking lot and Carlos steps out,

"Well good evening, i'll be your chauffer. Please, allow me."

He opens the door us. Kaz gets in but I stay to talk to him.

"What the h.e.l.l are you doing?!"

I whisper yell so Kaz won't over hear us,

"Isn't it obvious?! I'm helping!"

"Fine, just don't f.u.c.k this up for me!"

He dramatically bows,

"As you wish sir."

I get into the car and sit next to Kaz.

"Wow, you look..."

The car starts to leave,

"Delicious."

She blushes,

"Thank you. But you look amazing Ricky."

She straightens out the little flower in my pocket square.

'She looks beyond gorgeous and she's so adorable right now.'

"So, i'm guessing you still don't wanna tell me where we're going?"

"So impatient little one? We're almost there, just wait a few more minutes."

The car stops and Carlos walks around the car,

"We have arrived sir."

Kaz and I step out of the car and he shuts the door behind us.

"Enjoy your night."

Kaz takes hold of my arm and we walk into the ballroom.

"Oh wow, this is lovely."

She scans the giant room filled with people.

"Is it just me or do these people seem kinda familiar?"

I laugh,

"Babe, this is our annual meeting. I had a feeling you'd forget about it."

"Are-are serious? It's been a whole year already?!"

"Yup, and we're up."

"Huh?!"

I grab her arm and pull her towards the stage. I grab the mic and clear my throat,

"Buenas tardes mis Arañas Rojas. Es agradable ver a todos mis hombres y mujeres leales aquí esta noche."

(Good afternoon my red spiders. It's nice to see all my loyal men and women here tonight.)

I put my hand around Kaz's waist. I can't see anything in the crowd except for the flash of cameras.

"Esta reunión aquí no será como cualquier otra que hayamos tenido antes, esta será sobre nuestra reina, mi reina."

(This meeting here will not be like any other we have had before, this will be about our queen, my queen.)

She looks at me with a confused expression.

'This is it, now's the time.'

I turn to face her and look her in the eyes,

"Kaz, el año pasado realmente ha sido el mejor de toda mi vida. Me has mostrado lo que es el verdadero amor, y ahora,"

(Kaz, the past year has truly been the best of my entire life. You have shown me what true love is, and now,)

I take out the ring and get down on one knee,

"Kazmaria, will you do me the honor of becoming Mrs. Hernandez?"

Her eyes are wide and tears are slowly flowing down,

"Yes Ricky, YES!"

I put the ring on her finger and kiss her soft lips. The crowd hoots and cheers but it soon fades into nothing. All I can hear is my heart beating 200 miles a hour until we part lips.

"Ricky,"

She squeezes my hand,

"I love you."

I pick her up,

"I love you too, Mrs. Hernandez."

I walk down the stairs of the stage and let her back down. People walk up to me and congratulate us on our engagement. Lina wanders over and takes hold of Kaz,

"I'm gonna steal her for a bit and don't worry, she won't get drunk...maybe."

She and a group of females all head to the bar while me and the others hang back.

"So you finally decided to settle down huh?"

Carlos pats my back,

"Yeah man, she's the one."

"How'd you know?

A familiar voice grabs my attention,

"That she was the one I mean."

"Lucy?"

She smiles,

"I know, probably the last person you'd wanna see."

"Uh, no, it's nothing like that, i'm just a little surprised."

"Well after hearing that the 'ice cold cholo Ricardo' was planning on getting hitched, I thought i'd drop by. But never mind that, answer my question."

"Oh yeah sure."

I think for a moment,

"I knew she was the woman I wanted to spend my life with over time. Everyday I fell in love with her. You know when it's the right one when you feel it in your b.a.l.l.s."

A few of the guys chuckle at my bad joke.

"Hm, so i'm guessing you never felt that with Layla huh?"

An awkward silence hovers over us as she glares at me.

"How about we go grab a drink?"

Carlos tried to change the subject,

"Nah, it's fine Carlos."

I return her nasty look,

"No. I never felt like that with her. One second of being with Kaz is worth more to me than a lifetime with that b.i.t.c.h."

She taps her fingernail against her gla.s.s,

"Walk with me Rico."

"It's Ricky and I think i'll pa.s.s."

She walks over and whispers in my ear;

"Take a look at your fiancé, you see that little red dot?"

I look over at Kaz and see exactly what she's talking about.

I can feel my blood boil. I want nothing more than to wring her f.u.c.king neck, but I know better than to cause a scene.

"If you don't want anything to happen with her, I suggest you take this walk with me."

I shove her away from me,

"Alright, but get that s.h.i.+t off of her. Then we talk."

She grins and taps the bluetooth in her ear,

"We're good, call it off."

'I should've killed her too.'

"Shall we be leaving now?"

She gives me a wicked smile.

"Let's get this bulls.h.i.+t over with you f.u.c.king crazy b.i.t.c.h. I've got better things to attend to."
