Killer Crown 57 Chapter 57: Unfortunate

Weeks ago I thought that I had it all. A gorgeous fiancé, living in a huge mansion, finding my family, and talk of making one of my own. I had been so blind to what was happening right under my nose, but no more. This is my life now, my life as it should be.

"Alright beautiful, let's go."

I follow after Kai and he leads me into a small cell, one that looks oddly familiar. He unexpectedly shoves me inside and slams the cell door shut.

"Hey what the f.u.c.k Kai?!"

"Her rules, not mine."

He exits and I cling onto the cold iron bars. The clack of high heels against the tile floors echo throughout the empty s.p.a.ce. I can feel beads of sweat collect on the back of my neck.

"Well well, if it isn't my dear ole daughter."

'That voice...could it really be her?'

The woman stands right in front of me and looks me dead in the eyes,

"You're still alive..."

"Hm, that I am."

"B-but how? He was supposed to make sure that you were dead!"

"Who? Those two little boys you hung around? Oh please, he might've got me but it wasn't that deep."

"No...NOOO!"

I drop down to my knees and cover my face with my hands in complete horror.

"Oh yes my child. I'm alive and it would seem that you've fallen right back into my hands."

"No...i'm not your d.a.m.n p.a.w.n anymore. I'll keep fighting you with everything that i've got."

She reaches through the bars and grabs my s.h.i.+rt, pulling me close to her face,

"Listen here you ignorant child, I own you. I always have! Just because you took off that collar doesn't mean you can prance around like you matter. You don't! You never have and you never will."

She lets me go and I collapse back onto the floor with a loud thud. Pain shoots up my legs but I don't care.

"You remember what happens to bad girls who don't listen, don't you?"

"..."

"Very well, you'll sit in here until you learn your lesson. I hope you enjoyed your last night in the guest room because this is now your home sweet home."

"Burn in h.e.l.l you which!"

"Only if you get there first."

'I find myself thinking about her ever few seconds. I didn't notice how deeply my love ran for her.'

"Aye boss, one of our guys on the inside have just confirmed that Kaz is alive."

"Is she hurt?"

"No, just held down in some kinda dungeon."

'She's strong, I know she'll be fine.'

"Any idea why?"

"She refused to fight in an unground arena and was taken there."

"But?"

"But, that's it. We don't have anything else on the situation."

"I want updates every d.a.m.n day."

"You got it boss."

I grab my phone and call Carlos,

"Why are you still in my f.u.c.king face? Get the h.e.l.l out!"

The shrimpy intern hurries out of my office and carefully closes the door behind him.

"Yo, wussup Ricky?"

"Hey, everything all good down there?"

"Yup, everything's going good...but I have a feeling that you didn't call to check on me."

"Mhm, i'm just p.i.s.sed that this is taking so long."

"Aye, what did we talk about?"

"Work smart, not fast."

"Exactly. If we try to rush in and save her now we'll only be making things worse and we don't want her getting hurt now do we?"

I sigh,

"No, but-"

"But nothing. We have to keep holding on, just for a little while longer and before ya know it she'll be right back home."

"You're a good brother Carlos."

"Good enough for a raise?"

"Heh, don't push it."

"Yeah, well I better get back to it. Take care of yourself Ricky. I'll be back soon."

"Right, I'll talk to you later. Bye."

I throw the phone at the wall without thinking and it smashes all over the place.

'I just need to see her one more time...then I promise that she'll get to live a better life, one far away from me.'

"Well now, are you ready to cooperate?"

"..."

"Acting like a child won't help you out of this situation Negative. I need you to behave yourself."

"What don't you understand? I'm a grown woman, the last thing I need is for some delusional old bat telling me what to f.u.c.king do!"

"That's enough! I am your mother-"

"You're a f.u.c.king psycho who steals little kids and makes them fight for you! I've met my mother and she's nothing like you!"

"Your mother huh, i'm a.s.suming that means you've met your twin brother as well?"

"..."

"Good to know, if I get rid of them, you'll finally start to act as a little girl should."

"I swear on my own life that i'll kill you. But this time i'll make sure you stay f.u.c.king dead."

She cackles like the wicked witch she is,

"We'll see about that,"

She turns and heads for the door but before she slips out she looks over her shoulder,

"And before I go, I just thought that you might want to know that when the nurses were putting you back together, they ran blood test on you and it would seem that you're pregnant. Congratulations my little child, i'm excited to be a grandmother."

The door slams shut and once again i'm left alone in the dark.

"I'm pregnant?"

As if my life couldn't get any worse. I out my hand over my stomach. Tears slowly stream down my face,

"This is no time to be with child. I can't even take care of myself, how can I take care of a baby?"

My life is beyond horrible. There's only one thing left to do at this point. It pains me to even consider this option but what choices do I have left?
