I woke up inside a car. It's still moving. I closed my eyes then opened it again. My head hurts. I looked in front of where the driver is at, it was a man. I don't know who this is. He doesn't have the same physic who killed my Papa. That person! I have to find him. I was about to open the car's door but he immediately stepped on the break. It made me b.u.mp on to the chair in front of me.

"You want to escape?" He asked as he looked at me. I got confused. Why does he have to ask when it is too obvious?

"You can't." He talked once again and now looked in front. He started the engine once again.

"You want to kill who killed your father am I right?" He now asked. I don't know why he knew that my father is killed but one thing is for sure. He saved me.

"I-I want to," I replied. I don't know what will happen to me but all I want right now is to kill the man who killed my father.

"You need to be strong first." He said then started to drive. I don't know where he is taking me but I know that he wants to help me.

The sun is already up when we finally arrived at our destination. It was a big house. A tall gate greeted us outside and some men were guarding it. This man didn't stop and just continued to head inside. Maybe he owns this house. He carefully parked the car in front of the house. I looked outside and saw many children who fall in line. He stepped outside so I did too.

"This your new sister. Treat her well." He stated and head inside the house. I was left with these children. Some were older than me and some were younger than me. I'm already 13 years old.

"I'm Clint." A tall boy said and offered his hand for a handshake. I accepted it but to my surprise, he grinned at me.

The next thing I know is that I was slammed on to the grounds. My body still hurts because of the car last night. Does he want to kill me? But then, he doesn't know what happened to me. However, why does he have to do this? I just saw him leaving without even saying sorry. The other kids left too but one boy stayed. I think that he is the oldest among the children.

"I'm Wayde." He said as he smiled. He came towards me and helped me to get up.

"This isn't new to them. You will get used to it soon enough." He said but I was confused. What does he mean?

"You don't know?" He asked now. He might have noticed that I was puzzled.

"Mr. Azier brought you here. That means he wants you to be trained." He said.

"Yes. He wanted to train me to be strong." I answered as I looked down.

"Other than that, he wanted to train you to become an a.s.sa.s.sin." He now stated which made me looked at him in disbelief.

"W-what?" I asked. My hands suddenly felt numb. I didn't know about this.

"We are an a.s.sa.s.sin, so do you." He answered. I was left dumbfounded. a.s.sa.s.sin? Am I going to kill a lot of people is that it?

"Let's head inside." He said and pulled me. I started to walk but my mind still can't process the things that he had said. I'm going to train to kill people. I need to find that man. I decided to remove his hands from me and run towards the door which that man came in to. When I got in, I was surprised by what I saw.

"Great timing!" The man said. He was called Mr. Azier so I might call him that too.

"Mr. Azier what's going on? You said-" I was still talking but he cut me off. He signaled his men and suddenly they grabbed my arms. They dragged me towards him.

"Come here." Mr. Azier stated. I nervously went towards where he was sitting. Then he gave me the gun where he was pointing at the boy right in front of me.

"Shoot him." He said. I immediately turned my gaze on to him.

"Shoot him? He is just a little boy!" I shouted angrily. But it made him angry. He frowned at me. Hence, he made me looked towards the boy. He was just standing there.

"He tried to kill the other children. So why won't you kill him?" He now stated.

"That little boy that you call is capable of doing that because this boy is a demon." He said. I was stunned. My heart started to pound fast. Demon? Like the Aviana in Papa's story? Do demons exist? Why didn't I think of that?

That is the reason why this kid right in front of me isn't budging from where he was standing. Because he is a demon and he isn't afraid of us humans. He's just looking at Mr. Azier straight into his eyes. He wasn't scared even though Mr. Azier pointed a gun at him. If I were him, I would be crying right now.

"Now kill him. This is the best for him. After all, he killed dozens of men, for me so this is all I can do for him." Mr. Azier suddenly stated. I flinched from where I was standing when he held on to my shoulders.

"It's better to die a quick death than to experience suffering." He added.

"Now aim." He said and let go of my shoulders. I began to raise the gun and pointed it towards the boy. I can feel my heartbeat getting fast. I started to sweat. If I don't kill him, he will kill once again. I won't be able to start if he kills everyone here. If I can't kill, I can't avenge my father.

My father...

"I'm sorry," I stated as I slowly pulled the trigger. He collapsed on to the floor. Blood started to flow out from his body. But then, his body started to turn to ashes. All of us just watched him. So this is how a demon dies.

"You've done well. But you're still weak." He said and finally stood up from his chair.

"Never apologize to the demons you kill because once you feel sorry. You'll be dead." He stated and finally head outside.

Father, I've killed someone. I've killed a little boy for you. But it was a demon. They exist Papa. Demons are real. I wonder if I did the right thing. Hence, someone knocked at the door. It was opened.

"Let's start." He said and I started to walk. It was Wayde. Maybe he followed me here. He might have seen what happened here but he doesn't seem to be affected.

"What's your name first?" He then asked when I was finally in front of him.

"Vivian. Vivian Yve Dandlers." I answered in return.

"Then Vivian, welcome to the family." He said in return.

I don't know what might happen to me in the future but Papa, please guide me well. I don't want to die. Not until I find the person who killed you. After that, I'd be glad to follow you soon.
