Bloody Memories 9 Why Her?

"They took Livia." That's what Vlad said. I pushed him away and looked straight into his eyes. Is this for real? He shouldn't be like this. He shouldn't be protecting her like a d.a.m.n precious stone! Why the h.e.l.l is she so important to him? He knows that girl is dangerous!

"Why are you so attached to her? You clearly know that she's a threat." I said to him bluntly. He's getting on my nerves. I don't know why I'm getting too worked up but one thing is for sure. I don't like it! I don't like him treating her so special!

Hence, I was surprised when he looked at me coldly. It made me froze. He didn't answer me. He is just looking at me with those cold eyes of his. I was about to say one more thing but I heard footsteps heading towards our direction. To my surprise, he pulled me once again and hugged me tight.

I didn't mind our situation and just decided to look at the direction where I heard the footsteps were coming from. I saw armed men wearing black suits walking towards here.

"That's them." He suddenly whispered.

"They already have Livia. Why aren't they leaving yet?" I asked him. But he doesn't seem to know the reason why too. He didn't answer me. He's just focused on watching them as those men look around while holding their guns.

What do they want? If they already found Livia they should have fall back by now. Better yet, is there something that they want to attain? Someone perhaps, other than Livia? But what or who is it? I looked at Vlad who's still looking at them. He is worried, for her.

"Do you badly want to get her back?" I asked. He finally looked at me. He didn't answer my question.

"Fine. I'll help you to get her back." I stated. I saw him smiled. I immediately averted my gaze.

I didn't expected his reaction and also what have I just said? I'll help him? What the h.e.l.l am I thinking? Saving someone? That's far beneath me? I kill people not save them. The least that I could do is help someone.

"This is a part of my mission." I said. Its just made up reason so that he will finally avert those eyes of his. However, I was startled when he suddenly kissed me on my cheeks.

"WHAT THE h.e.l.l ARE YOU DOING!?" I shouted at him but heck! That was a wrong move. I was literally startled by what he have done because no one ever dares to touch me! Even kiss me!

Little did we know, those men noticed us and started to shoot at our direction. I noticed that they were using a silencer on their gun. Which only means that they are here to kill someone and they don't want to be caught. I put a silencer on my gun too because I don't want to attract the attention of the students and other people here in the Academy. I started shooting at them too.

It's very dark here because it's already evening. I'm sure that they are not practically trained to kill in the dark. They are not an a.s.sa.s.sin like me who works in pure darkness. I perfectly shot them one by one while their aims were only landing at these trees. They are too slow.

"Hide behind my back I know that you don't have any-" I didn't have the chance to finish what I was saying when I saw Vlad pulled out his gun from his waist. He started shooting too. Well, I must say he is good. What would I expect? He is the heir of the Kearne Family, so he should know how to fight and kill.

"They're getting many." I said and hide at the tree which was next to me. Vlad did too but it he hid on the opposite side.

How will we kill them? Because I know that they won't stop before they finally get us killed. I think of something first then looked at Vlad. He was already looking at me but he has this worried face once again. I just met him a this morning but why do I feel like I already knew him. I just don't know where, when, and how did I met him.

I finally averted my gaze and took a glimpse at those men. They stopped. Hence, they started to shoot once again when they saw me looking. My eyes were almost shot. d.a.m.n that man who owns that bullet! I'm f.u.c.king p.i.s.sed! I'm not good at holding guns so I pulled my dagger under my skirt and began to stretch my arms and neck.

"Cover me," I said. He looked confused first but then he saw what I was holding, he smiled. He's really weird.

I started to run towards those men while trying to avoid the bullets that were aimed to me. They kept on shooting at me but they're too slow to predict my actions. When I was finally near them, I gave them a devilish grin. I feel alive once again. Killing just makes me feel something strange.

"Let's play," I said towards them and began to sway my dagger. Thenafter I started to aim at them one by one. Slitting each of their throats.

They already have a big advantage against me because guns are faster to use and has a wide range. Compared to my dagger I need to get closer and I have to exert effort when using them. However, it's not the guns fault. It's the one using it.

I continued to tear these men into pieces. They tried to kill me! f.u.c.k them! Another one was about to shoot me from behind but I noticed him first. I immediately cut off his hand. He howled in pain and because of his screams we caught everyone's attention. I noticed that they were heading here, especially Mr. Gustavo. I started to panic.

I can't get caught, not now.
