"Leave me alone Mari, I do not want to hurt you, please let me be, I don't like you."

Instantly her shy and flushed behavior changed to a sinister one as she place a hand on her waist and one on her lips.

"Ahh, I figured you'd say that Sasuke, but it's not like you can do anything."

"What?"

"Just now, when you were entering the gate, you were served drinks, well I gave an order to give you two a separate drinks from the ones served. In the sense that j had the two drinks drugged, hahhaha" she laughed maniacally.

"You... How dare you!"

"Well don't waste your time, Sakiko won't be coming hahhhahhha haha haha" she laughed on with an evil grin plastered on her face.

"d.a.m.n it" he staggered, his vision became blurred, "I got to do something" he thought.

"Itachi, Itsumi!" He yelled hoping they could hear him.

Mari took several steps and walked towards him, "Come, you know you want it."

"Stay back" he turned to his left and saw a small rod lying on the ground close to a bowl, he moved to pick it up and she dashed towards him.

As soon as he turned, she was already too close to him, shocked, his grip on the stick loosened and it fell on her head.

"Ouch" she cried as she fell down with her b.u.t.t to the ground.

He used this opportunity to run back to meet Sakiko. He hadn't gone far when he ran into her.

"Come let's leave this party quickly" his vision blurred the more and his head ached seriously.

"d.a.m.n it, what kind of drugs..." He murmured to himself.

"Sasuke, what's wrong? What's going on?"

He noticed her drink still in her hands, "Perfect, don't drink that."

"Why?" She furrowed her brows at him.

"Just don't drink it. Give me" he grabbed the cup from her hand walked back to Mari.

Mari saw him coming her way, she used her hands on the ground to propel herself up and patted her dress down. He got to where she was, he looked like a drunk at this point as he struggled to open his eyes.

"Sasuke, you came ba... " he put the cup on her mouth and poured some of it's content in her mouth.

One hand held her head in place, while the other held the cup tight in her mouth. She struggled with him, and successfully pushed his hand and the cup from her mouth.

He grinned wickedly, "How does having a taste of your own medicine feel like? Thanks for the drink."

"Sasuke!" Sakiko yelled his name as she ran up to him with Itsumi and Itachi tailing behind.

He turned to the direction of her voice, arched his lips upward into a bitter smile. "Finally."

Thud!!

He collapsed on the ground, "Sasuke!!!"

Quickly, Sakiko and the others rushed to where he lay on the ground, "Itachi please help me carry him."

"Sure" Itsumi a.s.sisted him and they carried him away from there.

"I'll call for the driver to pick is up" she fumbled with her purse to get her phone out.

Sakiko turned her head to face the culprit and glared at her. "Pray he would be all right or... "

"Or what?" She cut Sakiko short sarcastically.

"It's better if you do not know."

"Bring it on Sakiko, i won't stop till he's mine."

"I won't take it lying down Mari" she turned and walked away, leaving Mari behind.

At the hospital he was placed in a ward and attended to.

"Sakiko, I am sorry, but rest a.s.sured, Sasuke would be fine" Itachi comforted his sister.

"He is safe now Saki" Itsumi added.

She only nodded her head as her tears flowed freely.

"There, there sis. Don't cry no more, look the Doctor is here" Itsumi and Itachi rose to their feet as the Doctor came out of Sasuke's ward.
