"Stop looking around, kid, and wear this." The man said with a rushed tone and gave the Girl a collar. The collar was made from some kind of black leather with a white stone in it.

Hearing the man's command, the Girl takes the collar and tries to wear it on her wrist. Looking at that, Karol suddenly laughed, and the man sighed, looking at the Girl's action.

"Wear it around your neck, you dumb kid." The man said under his breath. Hearing that, the Girl finally understands how to wear that and puts it on her neck.

"Here, take this pin to p.r.i.c.k your finger as we need some of your blood." The man said, throwing him a pin. "Why we need my blood for this." Karol asked as he wanted to know it's the use of blood in the process.

"It is proven from research that the bond form with blood is the most effective one, and there is another one, but I can't tell you as you are still a kid." The man said with a smile. Hearing that, Karol looked at the man and said, "Don't worry about these kinds of stuff and tell what the second one is."

"Well, it's not like, it's going to harm me or anything so here you go..." The man said and started to whisper the process in Karol's ear. After hearing the process, Karol's face suddenly turned red.

Karol then put his bloodied finger on the stone, then suddenly the stone started to turn red, and after the stone was entirely red, he felt a small indescribable connection with the Girl.

"Okay, now the process has been completed, give me the money." The man said with a smile. "Huh, it's just that." Karol said in a confused tone as he thought if someone uses that method, then it will be easy to make everyone a slave.

"Yes, that's because of that stone as it is an extraordinary one and very tough to be crafted." The man said, understanding the meaning of Karol's words. Hearing that, Karol just nodded his head and gave the money to the man.

Then the three of them started to exit the bas.e.m.e.nt. Karol and the Girl left the shop, and the man stayed behind in the shop. "Hope to see you again, sir." The man said, looking at Karol.

Karol heard his words but decided to ignore his as he was not going to buy another slave as he doesn't like to buy someone's life with some money.

"Just follow behind me kid, we will be going to our house." Karol said that looking at the Girl. The Girl just nodded her head with a curious gaze as she wanted to know what a home is.

Karol was walking in front, and the Girl was following behind him. While they were walking, many people were looking strangely at them, then ignored them.

The reason why they were looking strangely at them because the Girl was malnourished and wearing some kind of rag, but then they say the slave collar around her neck and understand the Girl's condition and ignored the situation.

"You go there and wait for a while when I call you entered that room." Karol said, pointing at the Kitchen then at his mother's room, hearing that the Girl walk over to the kitchen and sat on the floor while looking around curiously.

Karol ignored her and entered her mother's room and saw that she was laying on her bed. Karen looked around the room and saw that aunty Joana in here. "So Karol, how was your adventurer test." Karen said that as she was still awake when Karol entered the room.

"Mom, I have completed the test in a breeze and even got to the G-Rank." Karol said with some pride in his tone. "My idiotic son, did you take the G-rank test of fighting the monster, didn't you." Karen said with some anger in her voice.

"Mom, what are you talking about? I didn't fight any monster at all." Karol said with a small voice. Hearing his voice, Karen realized that he was telling a lie. "Karol, tell me the truth." Karen said with more anger.

Hearing her tone, Karol realized that he would be doomed if he lies anymore, so he started to tell the truth. After hearing what happened in the test, his mother began to lecture him.
