Beast Mutation 26 Ch.24 Into The Fores

"She is not going to use that money if I give her that, so this is why I am giving this to you." Karol said as he knew her mother's personality. "Okay, Lily understand, but what should Lily use it for?" Lily asked with a confused face.

"You should use it for buying necessities and also some candy for yourself." Karol said with a smile. Hearing that, Lily was excited as she will be able to eat candy.

"I should be going now and remember not to eat to much candy, or you will get fat." Karol said, chuckling. "Lily is not going to get fat." Lily said with a pout. Looking at her, Karol just laughed.

"Bye, Lily, and take care of yourself and mother." Karol said after exiting the house. "Huh, are you not meet mother?" Lily asked with a surprised face as her big brother is leaving without meeting the mother.

"If I meet her right now, I am 100% sure that she will stop me from going." Karol said with a sigh as he also wanted to meet his mother, but he can't as she will inevitably stop him from going.

"Lily understand that and take care of yourself, brother." Lily nodded her head with understanding while looking at her brother's disappearing back. She then gets inside of the room after her brother's back disappeared.

Karol reached the adventurer's guild and looked around to find that party of three. Looking around, he finds them at the entrance of the guild.

"Hey there." Karol said, standing in front of them. "Oh! You have come, now Jessica, you have lost." Josh said with a smile. Suddenly Jessica threw something towards Josh with a grunt.

"Huh, what was that?" Karol asked with a confused face. "We have betted whether you will come or not, and I have won the bet." Josh said with a pleasant smile. Hearing that, Karol nodded.

"So, which side of the forest we will be going towards?" Karol asked with a curious face. "We will be going towards the river located on the west side of the forest as it's a great place for one week hunt." Josh replied.

"Enough talking, let's go." Ron said with an indifferent face. "Okay, then let's go towards the west gate." Josh said that and all four of them started walking towards the west side of the town.

After a while, they reached the west gate of the town. "Did anyone need anything then you can buy here as we will not be returning for a whole week." Josh said that with a serious face. All three of them shake their head as they have already bought everything for the week.

"Okay, then let's go." Josh said that, and all four of them exits the town, and just as they reached in front of the forest, a horned rabbit jumped in front of them, but it was immediately shot by an arrow and died from it.

Karol looked at his back towards Ron, who was wielding a bow with a surprised face. "At least let us do some action too." Josh said with a grumpy face as he wanted to impress his junior.

"Be on alert all the time." Ron said, looking at Karol and ignoring Josh. Karol nodded his head, hearing that and removed his sword from its sheath and hold it in his hand.

Ron then walked towards the corpse, and just as he was about to put the corpse in his bag, Josh stopped him and said, "Wait, let me put the corpse in my bag as I am swordsman, and you are an archer." Hearing that, Ron nodded his head and backed away from the corpse.

After Josh put the corpse in his bag, they once again started to walk towards the river located somewhere in this forest. "Hey, Karol, do you want to know our rank?" Jessica suddenly asked as they were walking.

Karol just nodded his head as he was curious about their level. "Josh and Ron are low novice rank, and I am low mid novice rank." Jessica said with some pride as she is the strongest in them. Hearing that looked at them with a surprised face because of their low rank.

Karol did not ask them as that will offend them. Looking at Karol's surprised face, Jessica just smiled, thinking he was impressed by her rank. Suddenly, Jessica stabbed something above Karol's head with her knife.

Karol falls on his b.u.t.t and looks towards his shoulder to find a snake in two pieces. "Thank you." Karol said with a grateful expression. "No need for that, just be alert of the surrounding." Jessica said with a smile.

After a while, they finally reached the river, and on their way, they have killed six more beasts.

"We should camp over here as it is a great location." Josh said, looking around his surroundings. All three of them nodded their head.

"Here, both of you should use this." Josh said, giving Ron and Karol a circular object with a b.u.t.ton in the middle of it. Karol looked at the object with a curious face. When suddenly, Ron walked a few meters away from them and pressed the b.u.t.ton.

After pressing the b.u.t.ton, the object enlarged to form a tent can fit up to two people. Karol also walks a few meters and did the same thing, and there was a tent in front of him. Opening the curtain on the tent, he only saw a mattress attached to the tent in it.

"You guys should rest for a while as Jessica will be cooking some food." Josh said that and also formed his tent. Hearing that, Karol just nodded his head and got inside the tent to do some strengthening.
