Beast Mutation 33 Ch.31 Moonlight Dew

Hearing he had been in the forest for two weeks Karol was surprised, he then calms down a bit. "It was fun," Karol said while smiling as he didn't want to share that incident with anyone as it could provide some unwanted trouble.

"Oh! So, What brings you here?" Leah asked while smiling. "I want to sell this," Karol said while showing her a flower. Suddenly, Leah's gaze sharpened and she said while lowering her voice, "Do you have any more and if you have them, then just nod your her."

Hearing that Karol was surprised but still nodded his head. "Oh! So you have lost your, come in we will get a new one for you." Leah suddenly said in a loud voice and pushed Karol inside the room behind the counter.

"Huh, why did you bring a kid in the room?" Alan asked as both of them enters the room. "He has a pretty valuable object," Leah said indicating towards Karol. Hearing that, Alan was surprised but calm his emotion and then perform a strange magic.

Looking at everything, Karol just stands there with a surprised face. "Kid, why don't you sit there," Alan said pointing towards the chair. Karol just nodded his head and walked towards the chair and sat on it.

Then both Leah and Alan sat on the chair opposite to him. "Do you know what that flower is?" Leah asked while looking at Karol. Hearing that Karol just shakes head and suddenly cursed himself in his mind as he didn't research about the flower before selling it.

"I seriously need some rest." Karol thought as he even forgot to research even though it is like his second nature. Suddenly he distracted from his thinking as Leah coughs to get his attention "You are quite lucky that you tried to sold it to me or you would have been in great trouble." Leah said while sighing.

"So, what is this flower," Karol asked he was suddenly curious about it. "The flower is called moonlight dew and is one of the most important ingredient in a very important potion," Leah said with a serious tone.

"So, what potion it's used in?" Karol asked as he was even more curious about these flowers. "Sorry but I can't tell you that as even I don't know that," Leah replied with a sigh. Karol was surprised to hear that, when Leah suddenly said, "Before you asked it, no one knows which potion it is used for because the creator doesn't want to reveal it and the flower is in our important ingredient list."

Karol was surprised as she answered his question before he asked that. "Thanks for telling me that but how much can I sell it for?" Karol asked as he wanted to know it's price. "Well, one flower cost 25 gold," Leah said with a slight smile.

Hearing the price Karol was surprised and also excited but suddenly he backed away from Leah and Alan. Looking at his reaction Alan and Leah just laugh, "You don't need worry as we aren't going to steal it." Leah said while laughing.

"Huh! but why?" Karol asked because if he was in their position he would have probably stolen it. "Well, we also are going to make some money from that transaction and you are like a little brother to me," Leah replied while smiling.

Hearing the Karol was surprised and suddenly and bows and said, "I am sorry." as he was very happy that he found someone he could trust after all those betrayals. "You don't need to do that as we aren't angry," Leah said while laughing.

Hearing that Karol just nodded his head and sat down once again on the chair. "Give me all the flower and I will be back in a bit with your money," Leah said while stretching out her hand. Karol just nodded and gave her all 13 flowers.

After getting the flower Leah then left the room and Karol and Alan were just left in the room. "So, what is troubling you." Alan suddenly asked while looking at Karol. "Huh, What do you mean by that," Karol asked with a surprised face.

"Well, you were looking pretty tense when Leah asked about your adventure," Alan replied while smiling as he watched his troubled face before entering this room. Karol was surprised hearing that and said, "Well I was adventuring, I encountered a baby horned rabbit and killed but was later confronted by its mother, and strangely I was able to hear it's thought and I started to feel like an evil person after hearing those thoughts."

"That's interesting, so what happened after that?" Alan asked with a curious face. "I was able to kill the mother rabbit but after killing it, I wasn't able to hunt any beast at all," Karol replied with a serious face.

Alan was surprised to hear that but he calmed his emotion and said, "Well I can understand what you're thinking right now and it isn't wrong." Hearing that Karol was surprised as he didn't expect that type of reply.

"But it is not right either," Alan added. "Then what can I do about this," Karol asked with a desperate face. "Well you can have two types of mentality," Alan said while smiling.

"First, you can have the mentality that you currently have and just stay in this village while always being afraid to kill the beast. So you want to be like this?" Alan asked with an amused face.

"No, I don't want that," Karol replied as he also dreams of adventuring this kingdom and become strong that people start respecting him. Hearing his reply Alan just laughed as he knew that Kid like him will not choose that and then he started to tell him about the second option.
