Shen Mochen glanced at her before commanding expressionlessly, "Turn around, I want to change my clothes."

"Okay." Peach obediently turned around. As she finally had her c.u.mbersome outfit zipped up, her movements now appeared rather awkward.

Peach could only hear some rustling coming from behind her. After a while, Shen Mochen's voice rang out in Peach's ears, "I'm done changing."

Turning around, Peach saw Shen Mochen standing there in the Tang suit. His fair skin coupled with the festive Tang suit, made him look like a doll in a New Year's painting.

"Wow, haha! Husband, you look so cute wearing this outfit!" Peach's mouth broke into such a wide grin that her eyes became squinty. If it were not for the tree suit she was wearing that restricted her arms, she would have gone up to him and reached out to pinch his cheeks.

After hearing what she said, Shen Mochen's expression turned severe and he scowled at her angrily. No matter their age, no boy would enjoy being praised as 'cute'.

Peach stuck out her tongue, and quickly changed the topic, "Since we're done changing, let's go out soon. The performance is about to begin."

"Humph." Shen Mochen glared at her sternly and turned to open the door.

Peach noticed that his ears were slightly red.

"Done changing? Not bad! Not bad at all!" Mr. Chen who was waiting outside the door immediately went forward to praise Shen Mochen the moment he stepped out of the changing room in the Tang suit. He was about to pull him behind the curtains to prepare when he saw a Christmas tree wobbling out behind Shen Mochen.

Mr. Chen froze to the spot.

"Eh? Hi, Mr. Chen!"

This Christmas tree speaks?

Mr. Chen froze for a long time before realising that the Christmas tree was in fact a student. Carefully studying the little face that was revealed, he noticed the student's smile and her round face. He then realised that it could only be Peach.

"Peach Su? Why are you in the changing room?"

"Mr. Chen, I was always in this changing room." Peach looked at Mr. Chen with an innocent expression on her face. She had entered the changing room first, but had forgotten to lock the door.

"Umm…" Mr. Chen looked down at Shen Mochen who was standing next to him. Patting Shen Mochen's head, Mr. Chen chuckled awkwardly, "I thought there was no one in the changing room. Well, it's fine, since you two are…"

Under Shen Mochen's furious gaze, Mr. Chen stopped talking midway through his sentence.

"Well, let's go, the performance is about to begin!" Mr Chen brushed it off with a light chuckle. Swiftly grabbing Shen Mochen's hand, he bolted off.

Just then, Pretty Sister, who was standing nearby, saw that Peach was dressed but still stood outside the changing room. "Peach Su, why are you still standing there? Come on!" , Pretty Sister called out, waving at Peach, motioning for her to hurry over.

"Coming!" Peach moved towards her with difficulty in her c.u.mbersome Christmas tree costume. She was like a toy figurine in an amus.e.m.e.nt park.

"Ours is the first performance. Hurry up and join the group. Once the emcee announces our performance, we have to go on stage."

Glancing at the little swans around her, Pretty Sister gently patted their tiny heads and said in a kind voice, "Once you get up on stage, don't be nervous. Don't look down at the audience and just perform as we have done during rehearsals, understand?

"Yeah! Got it!" the students chorused.

Hu Yucheng approached Peach and complimented her with a charming smile, "Peach, although you're only acting as a tree, in my heart you are certainly more beautiful than the Swan Princess!"
