The people that were transformed became the Blackwebbed soldiers slaves or there pets to feed off of the flesh of humans. Adam felt so sorry for these poor souls who were now trapped as rabid animals for the rest of there life and could not stop thinking that Zargorwarth had the power to control all of the chaos around them " what kind of monster would get pleasure from killing people! They did nothing to him!" as Adam thought this Dusk called Adam over she was sitting at Marieas neck as were the rest of the group they were sitting in a circle around Dusk " since we are going to the Realm of the Jackalpepole I must tell you how the Jackal people came to be."
Long ago in the Realm of Jarackahgor this Realm was ruled by King Jorall he was a mighty king and had a pure heart he ruled for many years until he died the Kingdom of Jarackahgor mourned there kings death for two years then the kings evil brother Singarvar took the throne and once he did the kingdom fell into a period of darkness. This Age of Darkness lasted for ten years until a old woman arrived to the Castle of Singarvar that stood atop the highest mountain in the realm of Jarackahgor the old woman walked inside and saw Singarvar eating a large leg of Gorgen when the lady walked near him Singarvar said in evil voice " who dares enter my chamber with out my permission!"
he looked at the old woman and said " what do you want you old hag?" the old woman who was offended by this statement and was offended the he was being rude and disrespectful to her. the old woman said in a raspy voice " my lord I am very hungry and I have no credits to buy any food for myself and my son his gone to fight in the Royal Army I beg of you to please give me a piece of your food I am so very hungry." With out a slight bit of thought Singarvar said harshly " what do you take me for! That I will just give some food away freely?" he pointed at a trash heap and said menacingly " if you are so hungry then you can eat out of the trash like a Jackal!"
this was making the old woman mad and said " I urge you to stop I am not the kind of person that you want to anger!" Singarvar did not hear her and kept insulting the woman " being that you and the rest of the people in this worthless realm mean nothing to me and you can't do anything to make me give you some food. You are just a stupid, hungry, old hag that has no money. As Singarvar got up from his throne he walked over to the can that the old woman was using and kicked it to the side and then he laughed as the old woman fell to the floor. this is the straw that broke the camels back the woman rose up as she did the lights blow out and the old ladies eyes glowed dark red and she was not speaking in a raspy voice but a loud commending voice.
Her walking stick returned to her and transformed into a long golden staff she glared at Singarvar and said " Singarvar you are a fool of a king! I am not a feeble old woman that you thought I was I am the powerful sorceress Toa and you have angered me!
she pointed a long bonny finger at himm Singarvar was worried he had heard stories of the people who had angered sorceresses and it never turned out good
Toa said " I have been tasked by your brother to see if you are worthy to rule this kingdom and I believe that you are a black hearted, evil, dark Jackal of a king!" Toa raised her hand above her head and said " for your foolishness I put a curse on you and all who live and there descendants will no longer be human but became a beast of blacked heart and cruel spirt and have a burning hatred for man. I curse this people to became the ancient race of Jackalpepole!"
Singarvar cried out " please spare me sorceress I beg of you!" Toa did not respond as a green energy wave emitted from her hands the people of Jarackahgor changed thick dark brown fur grew all over there body, long jackal ears, noses there teeth grew into long sharp fangs.
Singarvar grew to be eight feet tall and he grew dark black fur. Once the curse finished Toa left and was never seen again the realms name was changed to the Realm of the Jackalpepole and many have traveled into that realm but few have come back alive. After the Demon Lord was destroyed James Jale-gar gave The Jackal King the fifth Dark Ring Fragment to keep it safe.
Dusk finished her story the rest of the group were on the edge of there seat and Dusk said " I do have to warn you the Jackalpepole are very crafty and it is very likely that they will try to kill us because when they were cursed the only thing that they know now is to kill and they love to eat humans."
Adam asked Dusk " so in order to get the Dark Ring Fragment I will have to battle Singarvar?" Dusk replied " no he died fifty years ago and was replaced by much more powerful ruler." As the sun was setting Mariea found a good spot to camp and once the camp was set up Ralingar said " we are near the Realm of the Jackalpepole it is just over that hill." Ralingar pointed at a large hill and said " I suggest that we get a good night sleep and continue to the Realm of the Jackal People tomorrow." Everyone agreed and went to sleep unaware that there were seveal shadows lucking behind the campsite
