"What the heck are you doing to me?!"

s.h.i.+ Mei struggled as she tried to untie the rope around her wrists but what more she couldn't tolerate was the two men guarding her side as if she was a criminal.

"Keep your mouth shut."Chen Wei ordered while Gong Yan looked at the hillside, it's already dawn so there were servants who were doing household ch.o.r.es in their own master's residence.

"If you want me to keep my mouth shut then release me now!"Xue Huan stopped and he turned to s.h.i.+ Mei. He walked towards s.h.i.+ Mei as he took out the fabric.

"Stupid, what are you trying-"s.h.i.+ Mei chewed her remaining words as Xue Huan covered her mouth.

"Xue Huan, do you have to go this far?"Wen Zexi said as he looked at s.h.i.+ Mei with sympathetic eyes. But Xue Huan ignored it. s.h.i.+ Mei glared at Xue Huan and she quickly kicked his right leg.

Chen Wei and Wen Zexi were shocked while Gong Yan tried to hide his reaction with his poker face. Xue Huan's eyes flared but s.h.i.+ Mei arched her brows only.

"This is gonna be fun."Chen Wei chuckled but he immediately pressed his lips as Xue Huan glanced at him with his death glare.

The sun was already casting its light when s.h.i.+ Mei and the four men arrived in the residence.

"Your Highness, we didn't expect you to return early. I thought you will be away for three days." the middle-aged man remarked as soon as his lord entered the residence, he was a loyal servant in the palace but the King ordered him to take care of the prince. He witnessed it when the King decided to punish the prince because of the incident that happened six years ago. The punishment was to be exiled in the Mountain of Bu Tebie and he followed the prince together with few attendants also of the prince.

"Xue Huan, where will be my room?"Chen Wei asked proudly. But the servant and the other attendants of Xue Huan looked at Chen Wei.

"Did I say something wrong?"

"My Lord, please excuse me but the person you are calling is a prince in the Kingdom of the dragon." the servant reminded Chen Wei for he thought it was rude to call the prince with his name. As soon as s.h.i.+ Mei heard it, she was totally in awe and to the point that it could make her crazy.

[ Dragon? Wait, Is the servant referring to the clans in the fantasy drama that I watched? No way, come on, I'm still alive.]

"Oh man, don't worry. Xue Huan doesn't want us to call him with his t.i.tle especially me because we are more like sworn brothers."Chen Wei tapped the shoulder of Xue Huan but Wen Zexi pulled him once again.

"I'm sorry for the rudeness of our friend."Wen Zexi apologized as he smiled at the servant and the attendants.

"Hui Zhong, let them be. They are my friends."Xue Huan said but with his stern look. He already reminded the servant and the attendants multiple times to not call him with his t.i.tle but they were not unstoppable as he thought.

The servant let out a deep sigh but he could not hide how bothered he was towards the woman at the back. Even the attendants were secretly glancing at the woman.

The four men glanced at each other. After a few seconds, Wen Zexi and Chen Wei immediately rushed to the woman and tried to untie the rope around her arms. But after several tries, they couldn't untie it.

Gong Yan took out his sword as the servant and the attendants were totally in horror.

"I...I...I...will not...I."Gong Yan stammered as he approached the attendants and the servant to explain but they stepped back. He was strong and commendable in terms of sword skills but he was quite shy in front of other people especially strangers. He moved forward but the attendants and the servant stepped backward again, they did it for a minute that made s.h.i.+ Mei's blood boiled vigorously. She motioned the two men beside her to uncover her mouth which Wen Zexi quickly did it.

s.h.i.+ Mei looked at Xue Huan which she concluded that he was the boss, the leader, or whatsoever among the people around her.

"I'll count for five seconds and if my arms are still tied in this useless rope. I'll burn you into ashes."s.h.i.+ Mei said with her very calm voice.

No one knew, but everyone s.h.i.+vered by s.h.i.+ Mei's aura. She asked nicely yet for the people around her, it was a forewarning. For the first time in six years, Xue Huan was fl.u.s.tered and avoided the eyes of s.h.i.+ Mei. While Gong Yan rushed to s.h.i.+ Mei and sliced the rope.

s.h.i.+ Mei stretched her arm while looking at the four men, one by one.

"Shall we start discussing what you just did to me."s.h.i.+ Mei said as if she was not bothered by her situation now. But she could not disregard how the four men treated her. She walked for how many hours with her arms tied and her mouth covered. Her whole body is tired and she could feel her hunger now.

"Locked her in the room."Xue Huan quickly said as he turned his back. s.h.i.+ Mei gritted her teeth as she was about to catch Xue Huan but the three men stopped her. She spanked Wen Zexi who tried to hold her arm and kicked Chen Wei while she knocked Gong Yan's forehead using her head.

The attendants and even the servant joined the three men to put s.h.i.+ Mei in a room. Everyone struggled for a couple of minutes just to suppress her.

"Kindly served her food."Wen Zexi was still out of his breath when he asked the servant.

"Yes, My Lord." the servant answered as he motioned the attendants to follow him in the kitchen.

"You Jerks! Get me out of here!!!" the three men covered their ears while still guarding the doorway's entrance.

"I need to check Xue Huan's condition."Wen Zexi said and the two nodded.

"Release me or else I'll drag you to the realm of death!"

"What? I don't hear anything!?"Chen Wei shouted back as he mockingly laughed.

"May I guess, you are the coward man, right."s.h.i.+ Mei mocked also at Chen Wei. She recognized the voice because, throughout their trip, Chen Wei was so loquacious. She guessed that it was the man who knew how to boast only.

"What did you say!? Chen Wei yelled.

"What? I don't also hear anything?!" s.h.i.+ Mei isn't the type of woman who let herself got into a childish fight but today was different from her normal days.

While Gong Yan only closed his eyes and let the two people had their kid battle.

"I can kill you right here, right now."Chen Wei warned him but s.h.i.+ Mei only laughed.

"Do you think I'm scared? Looking at you, you'll need a lot of training to kill me."

"Do you want to have a duel? Let's see if you can win against me."

"Why not."

s.h.i.+ Mei had no experience holding a real sword but she had proper training of it and she also knew a few martial arts. She trained a lot because their family business was a company of stunt performers. She was a famous stunt woman for she was not afraid of the risk of her job.

s.h.i.+ Mei and Chen Wei were still busy in their so-called battle of good-talker when they heard a commotion.

"Chen Wei checked it."

"No, I'll teach this brat a lesson. She's already mocking at me."

"Chen Wei. Go."Gong Yan seriously ordered without a hint of expression on his face. Chen Wei stomped his feet but he eventually walked away.

Fifteen minutes had pa.s.sed when Gong Yan saw Chen Wei running towards him.

"Xue Huan is having a difficulty of breathing. He keeps holding his heart."
