(Yao Xue Rong's POV)

When I got back to the palace I called Fu Si and let her deliver the body to the next room beside mine. I've also let them prepare warm water and new clothes. If I wasn't mistaken the body of the first miss is only a year younger than mine, yet her growth is slow. They must have done something for her to look like bones and bones and bones.

"Fu Si, call Fu Wen over and wipe that body and I want it as gentle as possible. Call me when you're done, I'd be gathering some materials for her treatment, and do not let anyone enter this chamber."

"Yes mistress"

In this palace I can only trust, Fu Liang, Fu Wen, Fu Si, Fu s.h.i.+ and Fu Yan. Without them I might have encountered the wrath of the empress and brother's imperial concubines. I sat slowly and checked the wounds of this miss.

There are large wounds on her body and I will need to st.i.tch them one by one. I hope she won't gain consciousness when I start or else it will be troublesome. Making sure that her chest has no internal damages I slowly cleaned the wound and sew it as fast as I could. Then I moved on to the next. And when the st.i.tching was done, I applied a medicinal cream and put appropriate bandages so the wounds won't tore open.

She also have deep scars and unhealed bruises all over her body which overshadowed the fairness of her skin. This child ah, so poor!

"Let this big sister help you, I will give you a new ident.i.ty. You need to grow stronger, and one day you will have the longest laugh. Your family must be evil, we need to exterminate them so we could lead a good life in the future. Rest well, no one will harm you from now on."

"Fu Si" I called

"Yes mistress?"

"Dress her."

It's really a pity that her face is disfigured, but I can cure that when she wakes up. I just need her permission. A little surgery is good, to polish such heaven defying face. And we need to fully heal her body so it will regain its figure back.

I returned to my room and sleep for a few hours.

When the sun shone on the east I've already readied myself for the day. I took a bath early and chose a black dress with golden linings. Letting my hair down and applying a natural looking makeup on my face.

"Good morning mistress" everyone greeted me

"Fu Si bring food next door."

"Fu Wen guard the place."

"Fu s.h.i.+, send a letter to my brother."

"Fu Liang accompany me inside"

We went inside and checked the girl sleeping on the bed. Her hair looks like a nest. And the bandages on her face looks scary.

"Liang, call Yan over"

"Good morning mistress" Fu Yan greeted

"En. Have all of you eaten breakfast?"

"Reporting to mistress we've already eaten breakfast" Fu Yan replied

"Good. I want you to clean her body and change her clothes"

I sat on the side and waited for them to finish.

"Mistress the meals are ready" Fu Si entered

"Serve it there, our guest will wake up any moment from now."

Then I sat on one of the chairs and stare at the bed and the young miss of Feng's manor regain her consciousness. She nervously sat upright and forced herself to stand.

"Fu Wen, help her"

"Yes mistress"

She helped her sit next to me.

"Drink water first and eat this porridge. It has medicinal effects so don't turn it down. For three days you'd be only eating porridge, and when your body is good you'd be eating meals like mine. Your const.i.tution has deteriorated for a long time and nursing it back to health will need time."

"Your majesty, why are you helping me? Why did you save me?" She asked

"I saved you just for fun, is that enough to answer you?"

"This lowly one thanks the princess"

"Don't bother with the formalities, I happen to pa.s.s by and save you in time. Pledge your life to me and I'll help you deal with the rest of matters concerning you."

"But my life is worthless"

"It isn't, I can give you a new life if you so wish"

"But your majesty, I am badly disfigured. I cannot even pa.s.s as your servant." Her tears pour down

"Who said you're going to be a servant? Don't worry about your face I can do a surgery and change it"

"How will I repay you?" She asked, fire igniting in her eyes and I see her determination

"Be my friend that's all. As you see the palace is empty and I am very lonely. No one wants to accompany this miss." I answered

"Thank you so much princess" she said wholeheartedly, such a fragile thing.

We ate in silence then I prepared myself for the surgery. I will talk to my brother later, erasing her ident.i.ty is good and I will need to change her personality too. She's too weak to face the dangers of this world. A pure hearted person is no match for a witch.

"Get proper rest, you will undergo days of treatment."

"I will, your majesty" she said

I stood and walked out of her room only to meet the questioning look of my brother.
