I'm Really A Kpop Idol 29 Press Meet Part 1

The next day morning at 8 o'clock, Taehee picked them up, at their apartment and drove them to the agency. After reaching the company, she led them to the Chairman's office on the seventh floor.

Upon looking at them, the Chairman YeongCheol smiled widely as he was very satisfied with the reaction of the public as the first music video "Energetic" already crossed 2 million views in just 11 hours and isn't going to be stopped at anytime soon.

With a smile on his face, YeongCheol spoke, "all five of you did a great job. Now, within an hour, there's going to be a formal press conference. Don't worry, it is all arranged beforehand. Just memorize the answers, you will be given and it will be great.

But, since there will be all kinds of reporters, you might be asked other questions too by the reporters and I warn you not to answer them. Just stay silent and don't show panic expression. I'll take care of it. You can just sit there and read them. Ask me if you have any problem with it."

Then, as he turned his head aside, the executive director of the Public relations department, Chun Kyung gave them their lines. And then, they sat took the seats, which are placed aside the wall and began to read them.

As the face and leader of the group, Jun certainly have a lot more questions than others because almost everything about the group had to be answered by him. As he took a look at it once, he stood up and walked towards the chairman and asked in a surprise, "Mr. Chairman, this... can I really answer it? Earlier in one of the interviews, I remember you mentioned the media that the recording and shooting have been completed several weeks ago."

YeongCheol replied, "Yeah. It isn't that much of a problem. We were already prepared for the questions, which will arise from it. You just follow the script. As the face of the group, it is important for you not to panic, at all since most of the cameras will focus on you like before. The pressure of the group has to be taken by you."

Jun nodded, "I understand, Mr. Chairman." A while later, Jun again stood up and showed YeongCheol about an important question, "can we remove this question? I don't want to increase my popularity through my sister." Hearing him out, as the four of them wondered, "Sister?" the chairman nodded, "I also think we should hide it but you need to know that it can't be hidden for so long."

As Jun nodded and went back to his seat, Minsu asked in a whisper, "Hyung, do you have a sister? Is she an Idol or something?" Jun replied, "we will talk about it, later."

Half an hour later, they went to the dressing room and changed their outfits and put makeup as it's the first press meet after their debut. Of course, they have to look good since the whole country will be watching, later.

After everyone from the media arrived, they started with the introduction. After counting slowly, "1, 2, 3..." everyone gave a two-finger salute in an angle, before releasing it towards the camera, and Jun spoke, "Break the limits" followed by everyone bowing lightly and spoke together, "h.e.l.lo, we are UNLIMITED."

After the introduction, everyone took their seats, and as usual, Jun sat in the center, while on either end, sat Taehee and Chairman. First, one person stood up and asked, "first, let us congratulate on your debut." As Jun and the other four replied, "thank you," he continued, "so, how do you feel after a successful debut?"

Jun answered, "well, we are certainly happy to achieve our dream." He went through the same questions of the pre-debut press-meet, they had two days before their official debut.

One asked, "my question here is for Hwa Do-Hyun. Is it true that your father is, Hwa Ho-Jin, the former Vice Chairman of Echo Entertainment and currently, the present Chairman of BM music company?" With an uncomfortable look on his face, Dohyun nodded, "yes. He is." Then, the reporter continued to ask, "a lot of people in the comments section of your teasers and the music video are saying that you aren't fit for the group and will drag the group down. An anonymous person informed us that you have used your connections to enter the group. What is your comment on it?"

Jun was shocked by hearing that and suddenly remembered that his highest talent is only 7 in music and his name wasn't in the S-grade list in yearly-evaluations either. Meanwhile, a series of curses almost appeared in Dohyun's mouth as he was frowning.

But he forced himself to calm down as he was already prepared for it and replied, "if I have used my connections, I would have debuted long ago and wouldn't have trained for 4 years before getting selected for the Idol group. And regarding the people's opinions, don't judge me so soon. It is only our first song in our first alb.u.m. However, it is also true that SungJun-Hyung and the rest are very talented and I may consider myself less talented than them but I'm still learning. Don't forget that I'm only 16 years old. There's a lot of time ahead of me to improve myself."

At first, the Chairman frowned as Dohyun bring up Sungjun's name but later, he nodded in satisfaction as it would seem more real and practical than those empty lines. Then, they asked a few personal questions about Minsu, Minho, and HaeSeong about their trainee life before pre-debut and after that. How they are managing school/college with all the intensive training is going on. And also asked everyone including Jun about how their dorm life is...

Then, an unexpected question appeared, "Kang Min-Su, who do you think, is the best in your group. I'm not asking about their musical or dancing talent. About their personality. Who do you respect the most?" As Chairman was about to interrupt in a worry that Minsu wasn't prepared for it, Minsu immediately answered, "Sungjun-Hyung. I respect Sung-Hyung the most. You know when we have enough talent and support, naturally one grows arrogant, unknowingly.

We met each other, one year ago. He was already an exceptional Vocalist back then. Despite that, he practices at least 12-14 hours per day and always tried to improve himself. After looking at him, I also trained harder to become an Idol."

As Sungjun smiled, the reporter continued, "so, how is Han Sung-Jun, as a leader?" Dohyun replied this time, "he takes care of us, very much like an older brother. Whenever I had a problem with singing, he always encouraged me and kept on believing me that I can do it." Minho then laughed, "yeah, he always goes down to the cafeteria to buy us food whenever we missed the lunch/dinner, without us even asking. He's more like a father though, although he never scolds us / comments harshly for making mistakes.

And there was this one incident I need to share, though. It isn't a big deal but... anyways, it happened recently during our shoot with Energetic. Everyone knows how tough it is to work with a great director like To-Hoon. As we were pressed on time, we kept on shooting for 18 hours a day. Because of my weak stamina, I was collapsed and the shooting was delayed a bit and we're sent back to our dorm.

Even though like everyone, Hyung was physically and mentally tired, Hyung carried me to our dorm." Jun laughed and waved his hand, "c'mon, you exaggerate too much. Just look at your body. I can easily carry two of you at any time without any problem."

Then, a reporter asked, "we would like to ask, Han Sungjun, more details about lee Minho's collapsing incident on the set. So, what exactly happened or rather just what is your experience of working with Director To-Hoon, who is famous for being a perfectionist and making the Idols/actors cry?"
