"The event will start at 8 pm. Be ready by 7pm." cable said

"Event? Oh! Ok".

I had just taken a shower in the morning so I'll skip it now. I took my bag to see which one I should wear for the event.

It should be decent, not too revealing but that dote bought me all short dresses.

I thought and took out least revelling dress. It was purple which Alex bought me, it had a deep V shape from above and was sleeveless

"only an hour left before the event starts," I whispered and went into the kitchen to eat something. I drank a gla.s.s of juice and ate an apple. I hurriedly changed into my attire and looked myself in the mirror. It showed a little of my cleavage too much and it was comfortable. I decided to let my hair fall straight and put on some liner and mascara. I put on my silver and purple 5" inch heels, put on a thin layer of my strawberry lip gloss and there I was ready.

Dropping my phone and lip gloss along with some tissue papers in case of some emergency in my silver clutch, I waited for cable . as he went in other room to get dress.

To say that I was not nervous would be an understatement. Because I was too nervous. First, because of the event, I had never been to such events. And second, because of cable. Because first time I will be out in public as his girlfriend, But I will not be alone he will be there for me in event... There will be hundreds of people.

cable came out and my silly heart again flipped at the sight of him.

Seriously! Stupid heart! Stop it! I order you to stop it!

He was looking handsome in a black suit. His one hand in his pocket and in another hand, he was holding his phone. He was wearing black shades.

he was on his phone talking with someone. he did not look at me and sat in his car. Hundreds of b.u.t.terflies started dancing in my stomach and I could not bear to we sat in car as the driver start the car. I look at him only to find him already staring at me and that time he kissed me on lip, "oh my G.o.ddess I don't want to bring you to the event like this "he spoke. I looked at him with confuse and sad ." oh don't be sad you look so gorgeous that I don't want other man to see you like this "he spoke kissing my neck and I blushed "we should stop " I told him and he sat straight again . We stopped in front of a five-star restaurant and the driver opened the door for me. I came out followed by cable. As soon as we came out of the car, hundreds and thousands of flashes and clicking of cameras started. It was difficult for me to open my eyes in this much brightness. Hundreds and thousands of questions were thrown at cable.

"Mr. king. is? Is she your famous girlfriend?" One of the reporters asked and I instantly looked towards cable.

However, he did not reply and just smirked looking towards me. I could not see his blue eyes because of that black shades he was wearing.

Everyone shouting different random crazy questions and they all related to his current relations.h.i.+p status.

" Seriously! What is their problem? Why were they involving them in his private matters?

The crowd was pus.h.i.+ng me when suddenly a warm hand caught mine and made me escape from that crowd. I looked up to see cable, he told he tightly kissing my cheek and giving a small smile. We entered the hall, cable still holding my hand. The hall was fully decorated and it looked beautiful.

"This is my girlfriend Emma." I came out of my trance and looked up to see a man who was around 30 looking towards me with a creepy smile.

"Emma he is one of the famous directors "

"I greeted him and we talked for some minutes before he asked me out "

I looked at cable as he greeted his teeth "she is not free to go out with you as you know my girlfriend is a reporter, she is busy." cable spoke with fake smile.

"Well, too bad, but still here's my card." He handed me his card and after winking towards me, he went away. cable s.n.a.t.c.hed the card from my hand and tore it into two pieces.

"You are not going out with him." He said in an orderly manner and I laughed at him. went towards the table.

. I sat beside him. He was talking to a man sitting in front of him.

"I would thank you all for coming to this event. Your presence means a lot to us." Everyone turned their attention to the person speaking on the stage.

I did not find Alex anywhere.

"did you see Alex "I asked cable.

Cable: yam he must be with his girlfriend "

"GIRLFRIEND !!!!" I shouted and everyone looked at me.

Cable laughed at me "I was more shock then you when he told me he is going to bring his girlfriend here "cable spoke

"o my G.o.d the party pervert really settled now, I am so excited to see his girlfriend" I jumped on my seat and he laughed." you are too cute "he spoke and I blushed.

After an hour and we found Alex with his girlfriend near a bar which was located near the side of party hall. they were making out, and were so into it that Alex did not notice us.

" let her breath idiot. " cable spoke and I laughed at them.

Alex looked awkwardly at me and cable. "are you not going to introduce her. " I spoke.

Alex: I- yes, this is Maggie my girlfriend "

Maggie looked at us and smiled shaking our hand. "and Maggie this is cable and Emma his girlfriend."

Alex said. she was cute girl with big eyes, they both looked good together. cable and Alex went on with their talks and I and Maggie was talking about our stuffs. she was kind and shy girl opposite to Alex. how did she fall for that pervert i thought?
