Dream, Where True Love Lies 8 Dream 7: Immortals

Fai gave the silk to her. Later, Adara ordered the maids to take Fai's measurement.

Fai stood still and they started measuring her height.

"Height: 5 foot and 4 inches your highness." The Head Chambermaid reported.

When they move on to body measurement, Fai became stiff.

"Umm, Miss Fai, can you make your body looser? We cannot get your sizes if you're this stiff." Sofi implored.

"Ah-ye-yes sorry." She humbly said while she stood still… She stretches out her arms but she still feels uncomfortable.

"It's really embarra.s.sing!" Her mind silently screamed while she just close her eyes in embarra.s.sment.

While the maids take her body measurement, they look at each other stunned. They then reported the measurement to Adara.

"You're highness, her body measurement is…

Bust, 36 inches

Waist, 24 inches

And her Hips measures 36 inches your highness."

"Wow! Really? I didn't know you have such an ideal body Fai." Amazed, Adara stated.

"Well, I myself didn't know that my measurement was like that." She replied as she scratches her had head let out an embarra.s.s laugh.

Fai then contemplated "Maybe because this is a dream? I remember my size wasn't that perfect. I'm 5'4 yes, but I am not 36-24-36! That's just close to a perfect figure! No I mean that already is a perfect figure! I remember, I am just 34-25-36. Am I really dreaming?"

"Ok, Ok. Now that we got your size, we can now make your dress. What design would you want" Adara implied.

"Um, I just want a simple dress, not too fancy, just suitable for the occasion Miss Adara."

"Alright then…" Adara started to let the silk float on the air. As she directed her hand to the silk, heat accompanied with yellow neon lights begin to come out.

"Wwait? What are you doing? Are you gonna burn the silk Miss Adara?" Fai confusedly ask.

"Relax, I'm not going to burn it. I'm making it."

"What? You mean you're making it here? Already?"

"Uh-huh" Responded Adara. She continued to do what she was doing and the silk started to form into a dress.

While it is forming, Fai was astounded by what she is seeing. "Amazing!"

In the Tiger Clan's Territory

(West part of Celestial Realm)

Ade, who is the king of Tiger Clan's center kingdom, has his hands clenched in raised position as he smirk and says

"Tsk…How ignorant and naïve they are. They even set aside their pride and dare invite us…their sworn enemy just for the sake of culture. Don't you think my son?"

"Father, you know it's Celestial Realm's culture. And it's a given for us royalties to comply with the invitation of other royal families from other clans in order to welcome a newborn royalty whether you are an ally or a foe. It's an important factor for us for we believe that it's like welcoming a potential soon to be leader…It's not like they invited us because they want to, they invited us because they need to." Raha, the son replied.

"And because of that, did they not think that it's an open door for us? This is a rare chance to get ahead of them and attack them when they have their guards down. We could be able to win this time judging from our clan's insane preparations just for that awaited day." King Ade suggested.

"Father, let's not be hasty about that matter. Besides, it's a happy occasion for them we do not want to be a party p.o.o.per right? Let's be decent and just for a while…let's just endure it for a while and play along with them. It will be shameful for us if we do not show up in the occasion." Raha implied.

"Alright, you have a point. Raha, you're only 22 years old and I'm not surprise that you talk with rationality my son. I feel relieve knowing that you're my successor." King Ade proudly stated.

Raha smirked as determination was painted all over his face. "I will not let you down father. I'll definitely avenge uncle's death and retrieve what really belongs to us…the trust of our sub-territory."

He clenched his fist tightly and grinds his teeth as stated with glaring eyes, "Those d.a.m.n Dragons! Just to save a flying chicken! Tsk! Someday, I'll let them pay for what they did to our Clan."

"That's the spirit my son! Don't let them get away this time and show them what they deserve when the perfect time comes." King Ade a.s.serted.

Back to the Dragon Clan's Palace

"There, it's done." Adara presented a beautiful red silk line long dress that has an off shoulder long sleeve and a lace up at the back.

Fai was speechless in amazement.

"See, simple but elegant, no stones added, not heavy and it is comfortable. I present to you---Your banquet dress!" Adara proclaimed as she is proud of what she did.

"Do you like it?" She added while antic.i.p.ating for a nice feedback.

"It's amazing! I don't like it, I love it!*gets it and hugs the dress while she sobs* my very first formal dress that I own---*suddenly snap back to reality* "Wait should I…return it after I finish using it?" She anxiously asked.

"Oh dear, it's all yours. Don't worry you don't need to return it, besides, that dress was made according to your measurements remember?" Adara ascertained.

"Really!? Why, thank you! thank you very much!"Out of excitement she hugs Adara.

Adara smiled and pat Fai's back. "It's my pleasure."

After that, Fai suddenly asks. "But what did you do just now? I saw Genrou did that before but in different situation, are you immortals really powerful? What abilities more do you have? Do you really not die? Can you read my mind? Can you transport? Can you make money? Can you put the dead back to life? Can you? Can you? "She continuously asked.

"Woah, easy there darling. How can I answer your questions when you don't give me a chance to explain?"

"Ah, yes sorry, then…can you answer now?"

Adara explicates, "Dragons Clans specialty is manipulating fire. What I just did was Pyro-kinetic constructs. We, royal families in Dragon clan hold a greater power and control over fire. All immortals in Celestial Realm have powers and have the ability to fly and manipulate element depending on what clan they are in and there varies our individual specialties. When you asked if we die, yes we also dies."

*Gasps* "Really? How is that? Even though you are called immortals?"

"Yes, even though we're powerful, we also have our weakness you know. We cannot be affected by mortals deadly weapons and we do not die out of oldness, but we meet our end when we suffer great damage in our body from other immortals strong attack and we also become weak when we overuse our powers which can also lead to our death. We also grow normal like mortals the moment we are born until we reach the age of 15, and when we reach that age, our immortality starts to take place. We grow old in years but the pace is slower than of the mortals." Adara explained.

"Woah! That's unexpected. It's incredible!" She exclaimed and a few seconds she added, "So what about Celestial Realm Miss Adara? You're powerful so you must have an extraordinary world, am I right?

"Ok, let me explain it to you, the territory composition of our world....

Celestial Realm has four main Kingdoms, namely the Turtle Clan located at the North, the Tiger Clan at the West, Phoenix Clan at the South and where you are seating at, is the Dragon Clan on the East."

"Oh I see, no wonder there are many Dragon statues around here." Fai a.s.serted.

"Yes, and it's not all there is, in each of the four main territories, there are also another four Kingdoms surrounding the kingdom each. So in one territory, for example in here the Dragon Clan, has its own North, South, East and West Kingdoms. In Dragon Clan, we call our four territories, North flame, South flame and etc."

"Wait, so you mean, in one Kingdom, there are another four sub-territories? So generally, in the whole Dragon Clan, there are five rulers?"

"You're right. In the center Kingdom which is the most powerful among the five has the most powerful King. He governs over the whole clan empire. In each of the four main Kingdoms, we have a symbol tattooed on a specific part of our body and it illuminates the moment we are born. It is an indication that we are born in that clan. The symbol serves as our Ident.i.ty on which clan we belong to, it also vary in two different symbols."

"Umm, you have two symbols in one clan? How is that?"

"We have, but it's just a difference between the symbol designs. In here, the Dragon Clan, our symbol is of course a dragon placed on our chest. And according to our status, that's where the design differs. In the Royal Family, we have the bigger and more complicated symbol, whereas the non-royalties has a simpler and smaller symbol. But both pertains into a dragon, it is also the same in other Clans. And also, in our sub-territories, we have a color-coding to identify whether that immortal is from south flame, north flame or etc. In the center Kingdom of Dragons, the color of the symbol is black and blue. On the sub-territories, their symbol colors are green on north, blue in east, red in south and gold color in west. It is also the same colors in other clan's sub-territories, but they differ on the symbols." Adara emphasizes.

"Ok, now I think I understand a little. So what are the symbols on other clans? What about the symbol of a child when two immortals from a different clan come together?" Fai asks.

Adara replies "Ok, so in Phoenix Clan who is the closest to us Dragons has the symbol of a phoenix, placed on their forehead, in west who is our sworn enemy has the symbol of a Tiger that is place on their right arm and lastly, on the North, who just recently made peace with us has the Turtle symbol place on their napes. And you're curious about the symbol result of two immortals coming together from different clans are you? Well, obviously the symbol conjoins base on the couples' clan symbols, and the place follows the father's symbol location."

"Umm, now I understand Miss Adara...and...My other question might be out of the blue but I keep wondering, is the symbol visible all the time?"

Adara snickered, "That's not odd at all, I mean of course you're curious about that. Ok, my answer is no. It's not visible all the time, it just become visible when we were born, uses our powers or when we purposely let others see it to confirm our ident.i.ty."

"Oh, now I see. All right, I'll ask what I'm most curious about now, you said to explain it to me right? You have explained about Celestial Realm, but what's with your enemies and the chosen one?" Fai curiously asked.
