"Good grief Kohra, you had me worried, sealing your magix like that" Kohra heard as soon as she woke up. She looked at the person who had taken care of her.

She was a Kroll, a very beautiful one. She had golden hair and looked like a lion human cross breed with her inhuman qualities.

"Eline, you're here. Why are you here?"

"Ehn? I save your life. Why aren't you thanking me?"

"I'd rather have your head on a pike. I knew you were the miracle doctor they were talking about living in the northern mountain. Honestly, anywhere you are, you're still a pain"

"What did I do?"

"What didn't you do? You caused a rucus in the palace, sleeping with anybody's husband and running away. I had to find another royal physician within a short period. I ought to kill you, really" Kohra said, pulling Eline's cheek.

The Kroll was much of a casanova, despite being such a gifted doctor. Because of her beauty, she attracted the attention of men and find a way to sneak into their beds. Needless to say, their wives weren't pleased with being cheated on and they requested she be beheaded but she ran away.

"Ataliyan men taste better than anywhere in the whole of Quitri. Those women should thank me for spicing their married lives for them. Oh, I heard you got married. Where is your husband?"

"Far from your grabby hands. Someone's keeping him safe for me"

"Alright. What brings you to the northern mountains?"

"I'm looking for the Techa flower. Anak told me it was here, in the coldlands"

"Ouu, Anak. I wasn't able to have that hunk of deliciousness. I also didn't want Britta to shred me. That woman is too protective"

"Yeah yeah. Where can I find it?"

"According to my knowledge, the royal family of Biefa has it in their vaults"

"I wonder how you got that information..."

"I'm very charming. Anyways, you're in luck. The Atol are organising a tournament to find a champion, like they do every year. The champion gets to choose anything he or she wants from the royal vault. You can enter this tournament and get the flower.

I advice you against barging in on their home territory. Even Muni couldn't win against them when they retreated into their lands"

"I understand. You have a way of disguise then?"

"Of course I do. I'll take you there and enrol you in the tournament. Ooh, this is going to be so much fun"

Kohra couldn't exactly describe her experience as fun. While Eline was prancing around happily, entering them in the compet.i.tion, Kohra had a perpetual scowl on her face. The two caught a lot of attention since the disguise couldn't cover up their beauty but Kohra's aura made it impossible for them to go closer. The few who dared almost lost their heads.

"Good grief Kohra, you've chased all the good preys away. I hope you have a way to keep me satisfied this night"

"You must be prepared to lose body parts then"

"Boo, you're no fun. Haven't you ever thought of it, having fun with a woman? A lot of your citizens aren't opposed to that idea"

Kohra didn't reply. She tightened her armour and prepared for the first battle.

It was a one on one battle with a huge Atol. Many thought she would lose but in less than 2 seconds, the match was over. Her opponent had to be immediately transported for treatment, lest he died.

"Kohra, no mercy at all. Honestly, you're such a brute"

"You shouldn't speak when your opponent's family jewels are splayed on the floor. It's called hypocrisy"

"Well, I do the molesting. No one molests me" Eline replied with a smile that gave the spectators chills.

"I heard the Prince is entering the tournament. He has supreme mastery over Ice and air magix. You'll need to be careful not to kill him"

"I thought you were worried I'll be defeated"

"Well if you kill their prodigy, how would you get your price?"

"I don't have time for this" Kohra walked off, annoyed.

Eline just smiled.

"The Queen of Ataliya would be a big price, no?"

The second day of the tournament pa.s.sed uneventfully for Kohra. Every opponent she had, she defeated in just a few seconds. None of them even made her use more than one percent of her magix. It was annoying for her. For the first time in her trip, she wished Jier was there.

She was eventually exempt from the battles and placed in second place. Eline was right below her. Kohra was getting more wary of the Kroll doctor who had made her a target.

She decided to sneak into the palace herself and steal the flower. With Lesker's life in danger and her kingdom upturned, she couldn't wait another day.
