Alexander sighed, "Yes, but I still don't think you are alert enough. I need to train you well, " he still didn't believe her because of her being a straightforward person. Even if he heard this from her, he still wanted her to be safe and sound, not hearing her woes and mourning.

"Alexander, where are you taking me?"

"Let's have a secret wedding!"

Evelina smirked, "It's already a secret. We didn't inform our parents and the rest of our families,"

"We've arrived at the destination," he turned off the vehicle and unbuckled their seatbelts. He escorted her to the venue.

It was an abandoned place. It was a secluded area of the Kingdom of Ruby. The building itself had not painted any color. It was purely the color of cement. The building was an unfinished project of the business owner. The owner could no longer continue the construction because of the lack of budget and was full of debts. The building had 20 storeys. Alexander took her to the bas.e.m.e.nt.

"Alexander, there is nothing in here,"

"Close your eyes, Evelina,"

"Alright then,"

Alexander took Evelina to ride in the elevator. On the other hand, Evelina accidentally had the chance to take a peek. She was extremely worried and said, "Alexander, where are we going?

"We're heading below," Alexander nonchalantly said.

Her eyes widened in awe "What?! Isn't this the bas.e.m.e.nt? There's another bas.e.m.e.nt?"

"You'll see it later, my love," he grinned, making his lips curve into a das.h.i.+ng smile.

She continued to go with the flow, seeing his attractive yet mysterious smile, made her wonder, and delve into his surprise.

"Wow!" Evelina's eyes were on stalks when seeing the arrangement of the 'secret' wedding. She didn't expect such a sudden climax. The rusty old abandoned building was nothing and it suddenly turned into a fairytale-like wedding. They were in a garden. 'A garden beneath the bas.e.m.e.nt?!'

"How could it be?"

She looked around at the breathtaking scenery. There were gra.s.ses on the ground; the ceilings were completely filled with pink peonies and roses; the aisle was also filled with bouquets of pink roses. There was a total of fourteen bouquets. The path towards the altar was decorated with a pristine white carpet that was simple, elegant, and sophisticated at the same time.

"Are you ready?"

"I am absolutely ready," Evelina said with great confidence within her.

With the sound of music of the silent and serene atmosphere, the church bells started ringing and wedding music started playing. There were no actual church bells, but it seemed that they were hearing real church bells at the moment.

Alexander organized the momentous event just within hours. He asked Alexi for help. Alexi used 'little magic' to make the event possible. It was Alexander who asked him to collect some beautiful pink flowers that were one of Evelina's favorite flowers. They decided to hold it in a secluded area in order to prevent enemies and hindrances. Alexander thought that the place itself was the safest among the rest of the establishments.

'Alexander all planned this within the shortest time? As expected, I'm really impressed with him' Evelina deeply thought, realizing his hard work and dedication. 'He really does love me'

The wedding had finally begun.

At this moment, Evelina was walking towards the altar. Alexander wore a black tuxedo with a white long-sleeve polo underneath. There was a red bow tie that completed his look as a groom. Moreover, his s.h.i.+ny black slacks were attractive at the sight of her; the muscles of his calf and thighs were visible, making him handsome and extremely hot.

A man who never knew the meaning of love finally realized it because of one girl. 'Evelina Stepanov, finally we'll be together. I will never let you go even in this lifetime. I will love you until the end of my life'

The wedding went on as the pair of lovers stood before the priest. The priest faced them, showing the couple his cunning and mischievous smile. The priest was none other than Alexi. He looked different wearing the costume of a priest. His face was angelic and never had the tinge of seductiveness compared to his normal get up.

"Mr. Alexander Francis, are you willing to take Ms. Evalina Stepanov as your wife? Do you pledge to love her, swear loyalty to her, and even in poverty, illness, and challenges, you'd stay by her side until the end of your life?"

"I do." He immediately said, never hesitating the moment of uttering.

"Ms. Evelina Stepanov, are you willing to take Mr. Alexander Francis as your husband? Do you pledge to love him, swear loyalty to him, and even in poverty, illness, and challenges, you'd stay by his side until the end of your life?"

Evelina gazed at the man before her quietly. This was the man who was begging on marrying her two years ago, the man who was always by her side no matter what happened, and the man who still loved her even when he was alone…

There was a hint of glistening tears in the corner of the girl's eyes. Her tone was heartfelt like never before as if she was handing her life over to him.

Alexi cleared his throat, "Excuse me, I'm dying here! I might die anytime later because of too much dog food that gives me diabetes!"

Alexander ended their kiss. He rolled his eyes, "Whatever. Cut it out, Alexi!"

Alexi smirked, "I suggest you go to the nearest hotel as soon as possible. Make sure you make it quick, hehe," he winked at Alexander, showing his support on his spending his precious time with his dear Evelina.

Alexi arranged all their accommodation. Alexi handed a card to Alexander, saying the address of the accommodation.

Alexi grinned, "Well, Alexander and Evelina, I know a shortcut," he paused for a few moments, "It's right beneath this building. There's another building down here. You have to ride the elevator until it stops. If it stops, then you know you're there,"

The eyebrows of Evelina twitched, "There's no need to press a b.u.t.ton?" Evelina raised her question. She had to ask more. She believed that there was nothing wrong with being curious. It would also help them.

Alexander raised his eyebrow, "Let me guess, it's another magic of yours?"

"You're so smart, Alexander! No wonder you're a legend that girls fell head over heels with you!" Alexi praised him

Evelina pouted and looked at Alexander.

"Don't exaggerate, Alexi," he paused, "Who are you really, Alexi? Why do you know us? How come you know that there's something between the two of us?" Alexander bombarded him with questions. He was dying to know his ident.i.ty.

Alexi didn't answer, he just smiled, making him more mysterious and enigmatic, "What are you waiting for? Go on and celebrate!" he beat around the bush, diverting their attention.

Alexander uttered a reply, "If you say so, we'll just go ahead then," he understood him, not asking him any further. For him, the most important thing right now was Evelina.

They went inside the lift. The lift had blue marble walls, a red carpet, a gold handrail, and no b.u.t.tons. Evelina leaned her back against the wall. A sensor read her fingerprints, verified them, and activated the elevator. The doors slid shut and the elevator dropped to the fifth floor without halting. Not a soul else ever used it. Nor did it ever halt at any of the other floors in the building.

The lift finally grinded to a halt; it opened and they saw an empty hallway towards a door. It was a dead-end. They went straight to the room.

The room was huge. It had high ceilings which made it well-ventilated. The room had everything! Kitchen, bathroom, dining room and bedroom, and the living room.

"Let's go to the bedroom first, Alexander," Evelina seemed apathetic about the scenery and wanted to rest.

Alexi's room was huge and didn't look like a hotel room at all; it was more likely a guest suite in a Royal Palace. The bed was king-sized with pure white, Rubian silk sheets. He had his own study room, a forty-six-inch TV with video and DVD, an extensive leather sofa, and on the other side of the floor-to-ceiling windows was his own private beautiful balcony which the scene of the breathtaking moon and sun can be seen. The bathroom as well as the power shower, there was a bath large enough for a Jacuzzi. Everything was in marble, jewels, and magnificent tiles. The main part of the bedroom was the bed. Beneath the king-sized bed was a gorgeous and sophisticated red carpet.

"I thought you're tired?" Alexander asked

"No, I'm not. Alexander, let's bath together!"

Alexander was speechless. Although they were married, he still felt nervous when she was with him. He feared that he would hurt Evelina because of his stamina and his big boy down there.

"I'll just go ahead first," Alexander said, his ears were reddening.

"Okay," she uttered a reply.

Evelina was inside the walk-in closet while she replied to Alexander. Fortunately, there was a lingerie clothing in the closet. Suddenly, a thought came across her mind, 'Wait, why do I need this? It's just a hindrance! I'll just wear some bathrobe' she grabbed the cotton white bathrobe. She ended up dressing up the white bathrobe with wearing nothing underneath.

Inside the bathroom, there was a pool that was heart-shaped that was filled with rose petals. The roses and vanilla aroma were spreading across the room, making her nose feel satisfied. She was aroused, feeling the heat made her face reddened. She looked down, feeling shy.
