I took a pause.

The crowd was making me breath hard. I was ready to puke.

Somehow, I held back. I was staring blankly at the crowd pa.s.sing me, as I was just standing in the middle of the crowd. The feet felt too heavy to uproot them for walking. I just wanted to drop and sleep in middle of the road.

But I didn't.

I mustered up my courage and found a bench nearby to rest myself. I ordered a lemonade from the stall next to me.

The Indian summer was killing, but what was even more gripping was the thought racing through my mind.

I looked at the sky and started counting.

A childhood friend.

A professor.

A colleague.

A relative.

I closed my eyes and smiled slightly.

Then I spoke slowly.

'Mad, I asked something!' she said in a playful tone.

It broke my spell and I replied, 'Lets talk inside, Kyo.'

She took a pause, and then playfully turned around. Before I could follow her, she grabbed my right hand and put on her b.u.t.t.

Then, she said,' I know you want to touch it, so there is it. Once you strip, I will make your bath. While you take your bath, I will prepare lunch for us. Then we can talk peacefully. '

I praised her tus.h.i.+e and her co operation with me not saying a single word.

I stated following her and closed the main door of the house after I pa.s.sed it. She led me to our bedroom. The room was tidily sorted. Not a speck of dirt was to be found. The bedsheets spread across the queen size bed with not a fold to be seen.

The flower printed pillows had bunny and dog plus.h.i.+e in between them. The whole room was scented with room fresher.

I looked around the room and looked at her who still had back towards me.

I removed my hand from her backside and put it at her waist. Then in a quick motion I pulled her towards me. My torso touched her slightly curved back. I put my face on her left shoulder against her, our cheeks touching.

I breathed down her nape and neck, and I could feel a jerk in her body. Hear breathing got heavier, when she wrapped me with her left arm. She put the hand on my neck and let her head rest on my right shoulder. It was like we were coupled at the shoulders, never to be separated.

I'm full of sweat and I have not taken a shower since morning. So, get a bath, and we will continue.'

Now I took a pause and raised my head off her shoulder, but I did not let her go as my arm was still around her waist.

In another quick motion, I spinned her around so that she could face me.

Now, I had both songs around her perfect waist. I let them run so that they can lift the cloth around them. After some work, I found her bare skin. We painfully let the distance in our lips grow more. So much so, that i was able to open my eyes and bask in Kyo's radiance. She opened her eyes, blushed really hard, and hugged really hard, just because she did not want e to look at her flushed face. I reciprocated, and hugged her back.

We stood like that for a while, when Kyo continued talking,'Hey Mad, am I dreaming or your b.r.e.a.s.t.s have grown too?'

'Perhaps,you do not like that?' she said in a dejected tone.

I took couple of steps and stood in front of the mirror, this time focusing on my face. I looked for residue resting on it and found nothing. Nothing again.

My fair skin was covered in dirt and mild eye shadow.

Well, don't need the spectacles for the bath.

Thinking this, I put my pair of wayfarers on the was.h.i.+ng sink next to the tap. I took a step back and before I unclasped my bra, I ran fingers deep over both my eyelids and let them rest before I could see clear.

'Hey, this is filled with new bath salts, tell me how it feels, Okay.' Kyo said, looking up at me.

I removed my hand from my eyes and let them swing towards my back so that they could grab the part of elastic with hooks in the middle. After fumbling a little, I found them.

I let the fingers do the talking and unhooked my bra.

Out came the bra. I stood there in front of Kyo, my bra in my left hand, in just my panties, giving her the visual treat.

'Hmm, I will let you know, my maid.'

I picked myself up. All the water stuck against my body came up and went down instantly, making a huge splash in the tub, as well as on the bathroom floor.

I walked over and faced myself in front of the mirror. There were numerous rose petals all over my body.

Kyo would oblige me and remove all of them if I walked into the kitchen like this. I chuckled at the thought and stared at my body for quite a while before I started removing the petals off.

I grabbed the towel off the hook behind the door and started drying myself off.

Before dressing up, I walked towards the window covered with shades. I separated them with my right index finger and thumb. As expected, Mr. Sharma was ready to wave at me. But before he could turn to face me, I threw the shades between us again.

Instead, I gave her a goofy smile and closed the door.

I hung the yellow s.h.i.+rt back and put on the red one, followed by a pair of navy capris. Then I barged out of the door and yelled," Its Lunch Time Baby, and you Better Believe It!"
