"The eve, 8 PM sharp" and she hang up. Sigh.

No matter how much I want to lay in our bed, cuddled with Zach. I'm not a bad friend, even if sometimes when I needed them they're gone. I can never do the same thing they did to me.

When I put down my phone I immediately look at Zach, I pouted. He saw my expression so he gave me a deep frown.

"What's wrong, Family?"

"Nah, it's Maze, she needs me" i informed

"At this hour?" he ask, confused.

"Yep"

He sigh too. "Alright, where to? I'll take you there" He stood up and starts fixing his clothes.

"The eve" his eyes turn slit as he stared at me. I roll my eyes, I know.

"You've been constantly visiting there for the past months, Wy" his brows rose up but I look at him questioningly.

"How did you know?"

Instead of answering me, he look away. This time it's me who got intrigued.

We never saw each other since the bad break up, except when I saw him in the mall and when we met in the café.

But I didn't interrogated him more, My dramatic friend is now crying her a.s.s out in the bar, drinking her heart out and that is not fetch. I gotta stop her before she creates a huge mess, because the last time she did, she went berseck and we gave a fine nearly half a million.

I looked at the clothes I bought a while ago, which is what I suppose to wear tomorrow. Err, I think this will do.

It's a thin red lace spaghetti top and a high waist jean, and I was actually wearing a color nude pumps a while ago.

When I finished, I blow dry my hair and curled it using the available iron in my room and put some make up.

I stood up and saw Zach waiting for me, his legs were crossed. He stood up when he saw me already finish.

He wore his white long sleeves that is folded up to his elbow. I saw his suit and tie thrown on my bed, I guess he won't wear them.

"You'll come?"

He nod.

"Okay, but you can't seat with us. Its girls talk"

He didn't respond but I know he won't.

A twenty minute drive from my hotel to The eve is pretty much long, though I hope Maze is still sober.

You can't leave that girl alone in a bar. She'll practically lose all her s.h.i.+ts even her rationality and literally become a wh.o.r.e.

I stepped out of his car and proceed to the entrance.

I waited for him before entering, he needs to park his car though.

When I saw his shadow I took the gold card from my wallet and wave it to the bouncer.

The loud music welcomed me, and I saw most of the crowed are already smoking and dry humping each other from their perspective sofa's. But the night is still young so it's still not wild. I could still walk smoothly on the dance floor.

My eyes roam around the place after I pa.s.sed the dance floor, but I could only see some business men and squads drinking. I couldn't find Maze. d.a.m.n that girl, don't tell me she's already dry humping someone? She never learn! This was also the reason why she got f.u.c.ked by her ex! Again!

I can't believe they'll reunite after 2 years through s.e.x.

I felt a strong warm hands encircled around my waist, I look up only to see Zach standing firm by my side.

"Help me find her, hmm?" but he single pointed a direction. Somewhere in the dark, and if your visions are not clear you wouldn't notice her. She's there, drinking alone with I think a bottle of whiskey on her side.

I tsked. This girl...

I walk towards her with a quick pace and then sat beside her.

"What is it?" I asked.

"f.u.c.k" she muttered, she look surprise tho.

When she found out it was me, she rolled her eyes upwards.

"Same to you" I mock.

"You came alone?" she questioned. I shrug, "No, I'm with him" and I pointed Zach who is casually seating in a sofa 5 meters away from us.

Her face scowled but she didn't care anymore.

"I'm not gonna ask you what happened, I'll just accompany you b.i.t.c.h till you pa.s.s out" I said

She scoffed. "Yeah, whatever"

We both remain silent, as much as I want to know what the h.e.l.l is going on inside her head, I wouldn't force her to talk. Maze will never open up when she's being forced.

I waited, I waited for her to open her mouth because in one way or another she'll burst out.

And I wasn't wrong.

"I hate him" she said. I nod, such a simple statement but cruel words.

"I'm actually not mad, Aud." She look at me "I'm in pain" and her tears fell, her eyes full of sadness stared back at me. Like matching mine.

She bit her lower lip. "And he put me in here" she ended.

I'm never a good advisor, I'm always the listener. But this time, I could almost feel the same pain she's in.

"I want a separation but he wouldn't give it to me" she choke a sob "Saying it's not their family tradition to break a marriage" she laugh sarcastically "Like it was my fault?! He.. he got a child outside our marriage Audelia, h-how can I accept that?" and she cried.

My heart went with her, at the same time shock with what she revealed. She never said a thing about her and her husband quarrel.

I went mute so I gave her my hug. She kept sobbing and I kept tapping her back, caressing her head. Oh, lord. Is love always painful?

Why love is always partnered with pain? Such a ridiculous manner isn't?

"I want out, I just want an out. I can never stay with someone who cannot remain faithful with me…"

She hysterically cried. "I can't swallow it, I can't be with a man that betrayed me Aud!" She got off my embrace. "I gave my trust, my love but I was gifted with betrayal" she bitterly mutter and her swelling eyes speak gives so much resentment.

And I totally understand. My eyes automatically landed to Zach, I smiled sadly at him when I saw him looking at me.

"KAMPAI!" Maze shouts, that causes to break our eye contact.

Suddenly, the emotions attacked me like a tornado.

I look at my friend, crazily talking to herself, crying and laughing as she drinks her whiskeys.

More than a month from now, I thought of myself, leaving the one I love the most to fix my heart. I thought of the possibilities, not a single time I told myself that I do not need to leave for me to heal, I can always heal besides him but the more I think of choices the more entangled my feelings get.

I ask the bartender for some tequila, I know I said I won't drink but alcohol will help me. When he gave it to me, I drank. One shot. No need for some salt and lemon. The harder the liquor the more beautiful it is.

I turn to Maze, who's mouth is parted as she stared at me. "You're a devil" she utter. I smirk at her.

"Another please and one vodka too" I waited for it and when the bartender laid it infront of me, I took it and faced maze. "Cheers?"

She chuckled. "h.e.l.l yeah, cheers for our f.u.c.k up relations.h.i.+p"

I'm drowsy, my head is already heavy and my sight is slightly blurry yet Maze and I never stopped drinking.

"Wohhooo!" she cheered, the night is getting wild! We both stood up for a dance!

"Wy, baby. Let's go home" A man took my shoulder. "Ugh, get off! I told you to go!"

I heard him sigh. "Yahhh! Geff off mah friend! You vitch" I laugh at her when she slap the man who is trying to hara.s.s me.
