THE CEO'S HIDDEN GEM 43 Bungle

Fred leisurely walked to jewellery store,picked a very nice and elegant bungle,ordered it to be packed and was sent to Henrietta,when she received the package,she did not sign it and it was sent back to the store.Fred was informed of the delivery failure,he wanted to call Henrietta for the same but recalled to have been warned never to diall that number again ,Instead he sent for the package and decided to deliver it himself.

Henrietta had just arrived in her hotel room when the room door was knocked,she paused in her tracks and went back to open it. "Halloo.... my princess ,long time no see,guess what I'm carrying." He said while grinning. "Fred ,I hate gifts ,do not send them again." She spoke with a complaining tone. "Fine anything my princess is comfortable with I will comply willingly,can I please come inside?" He pleaded. Henrietta was uncomfortable ,she did not want to create more misunderstanding between her and Jeremy ,so without any hesitation she said frankly . "No,this room belongs to the company and according to the rules we are not allowed to entertain visitors please leave or else you will put me in trouble." He thought for a while then said. "Can we hang out later at 6:00 pm?" She had no work that evening so she agreed to meet up with him.

Fred had just stepped his one foot out of Henrietta's door when he b.u.mped right into Jeremy,he apologized and left.Of course Henrietta had seen what happened.Jeremy cleared his throat and said. "Who was that man who just left your room?" She avoided eye contact and said. "He is a friend ,he just pa.s.sed by to say hi... he did not come inside the room." Jeremy continued staring at her and added. "Is he the same person who sent you chocolates this morning?" she avoided the question,she opened the door wide and muttered . "Come in,I have just arrived from work,if you do not mind,I want to freshen up." He discovered she was so nervous and was avoiding eye contact.

"Tell me, Henrietta,is that the kind of men you fancy? Is he the reason,why you needed to be given s.p.a.ce?" She was shocked with what Jeremy said, she was trying to calm down and explain herself but when she opened her mouth she had a thought block,nothing came out, she stood there in stupor for several minutes.When Jeremy saw her reaction out of frustration he stormed out of that place without looking behind.Henrietta was dumbstruck,she closed the door from inside and without changing her clothes she threw herself on the bed.

She had wild thoughts . " Why was I unable to clear this huge misunderstanding,he will think there is something going between me and Fred,goodness I hardly know this Fred well,I have to put a stop to this."

She stood up changed her clothes took a remote control and put her favourite show which was being aired at that time.She tried to distract herself from all that just happened but she was unable to,she thought of visiting Jeremy to clear the created delusion but she had no idea where he stayed.She took her phone and before dialling Jeremy's number she changed her mind the last minute.She planned to talk to him face to face.
