The wind blew and the red mist swirled. It was unknown how long Spring-Autumn had been stationary for. One could not stay in one place forever. It was time for him to move.

He felt a little pathetic not moving for so long while naked. A bit of dirt had piled up on his body and mixed with sweat, dirtying his bare upper body.

"I want to take a shower," sighed Spring-Autumn.

Lifting his head up, he began to look around the place. It was silent, quiet. A deafening silence enclosed the middle part of the city.

Listia was a country with a rich history. The city did not mainly consist of modern skysc.r.a.pers as one would expect it to be. The roads were paved with stone and gravel from an ancient time. The buildings were not so tall and were built out of a mixture of stone, brick, and other resources under the same tree.

The middle part of the city where history was richest with the least amount of modifications done to modernize the city. He arrived at the city's fountain.

The fountain had transformed into something unrecognizable. There was a black hole inside the fountain that emitted a scary aura that made even Spring-Autumn run away.

[Dungeon: The Cold Quarters]

A blue window lit up above the portal. Surrounding the black hole of a portal were a few strange phenomenons.

The water of the enormous fountain constantly alternated between the state of frozen and liquid. There was a nonstop swirl of blood-red mist around it.

The swirl was the source of the blood mist that surrounded the entire city. It was shocking that such a thing could exist that had the power to encompa.s.s an entire city.

Occasionally, a monster would claw its way out of the portal only to be ripped to shreds by the blood-red mist.

It was clear that the middle of the city became a boundary that monsters would die the instant they became exposed to the swirl.

It was unknown what the effects of the red mist are to the monsters outside the boundary. According to Spring-Autumn's observation when he came across them earlier, they were unaffected and unhindered by this mist.

He himself thought this red mist was something harmless and a phenomenon caused by the new world.

"Roar!"

Another monster began clawing its way out of the portal. Its deep red bloodthirsty eyes could be seen behind the darkness of the portal.

Spring-Autumn, being the carefree and cautious man he was, stood far away and observed. Suddenly, he took a big leap to the side.

At the place where he was previously standing, the monster's claw was there. It was shocking that such a monster that could extend its body in such an explosive manner could exist.

Spring-Autumn wiped the sweat off his forehead and retreated a couple more steps. Now there was no way he was going to go into that dungeon.

However, there was something that fascinated him. It was the red swirling thing above the portal. Despite the fact that it could easily annihilate monsters, he did not feel like it was too dangerous.

With a blank face, he jumped to the rim of the fountain and began to make way for the red swirl that was on top of the portal.

For some reason, the monster behind the portal did not feel like going away so Spring-Autumn also had to watch out for the monster's extending claws.

Woos.h.!.+

The claw shot up, leaving a trail on the water. Unfortunately for the monster, it would never catch Spring-Autumn as the man was always one step ahead.

Woos.h.!.+

Woos.h.!.+

Every time the claw extended, Spring-Autumn had already avoided the claw before it even reached the spot.

"Roar!"

Multiple claws shot out. The monster could shoot out more than one claw! As countless tentacles targeted Spring-Autumn, the monster's ident.i.ty was revealed.

[Blood Octopus]

"Now that's something I could eat," Spring-Autumn grinned and said. Unfortunately for him, he did not have a weapon at hand anymore.

Spring-Autumn entered [Bullet Time] and hopped onto one of the tentacles. He then began running on top of the tentacle and made his way for the red swirl.

The octopus essentially created a freeway for Spring-Autumn to run on. The octopus could not react at all against Spring-Autumn who could increase the speed of himself by slowing down time.

Hop!

Spring-Autumn made the final leap for the top of the portal. He could feel the red swirl calling out for him and he could see a bright future.

Without hesitation, Spring-Autumn entered the red swirl. Immediately, the swirl began to wrap around Spring-Autumn like a cloak and began to change into a gray color.

[Dungeon Product Acquired]

[Dungeon: The Cold Quarters]

[Item Acquired: Attribute Cloak]

[Attribute Cloak: Time]

[Attribute has been set to Time]

[Name: (Unnamed)]

The [Attribute Cloak] morphed around Spring-Autumn's body into a cloak with a big hood that covered his entire body.

Spring-Autumn did a spin in the air and elegantly landed out of the fountain. That little act was all the cloak and none of Spring-Autumn.

He was just a regular person so he didn't have the strength to jump all the way out of the fountain yet.

Spring-Autumn waved his cloak around randomly and the sleeve turned sharp which he used to cut off a tentacle from the octopus.

Everything he did from running on top of the tentacle to getting the cloak was done in [Bullet Time] so it was done in a single instant.

The tentacle monster probably didn't even know where Spring-Autumn got his cloak from…

The period of [Bullet Time] ended and the chopped off tentacle fell onto the ground with a loud Bang!

The octopus let out a loud screech and disappeared back into the portal.

Spring-Autumn let off a grin as he waved around his sleeve to turn it back into normal. Rubbing his cloak, he said, "Did you turn into a cloak because the sight of my bare upper body was too blinding?"
