"Rouge; The Dragon, Arancia; The Faun, Galben; The Beast, Zold; The Dwarf, Azul; The Undine, Cham; The Elf, and Violett; The Sylph. There are at least a hundred types of us Fairies including... --" As if recounting all the living beings I stopped her rambling.

"Hold on", I pulled my hand from the small pocket and slightly pointing my fingers to stop her, "first of all, you can read my mind?" puzzled, I began asking her while walking to the pillar where I sat earlier to get the meat jerky.

"It's not that I can go over your mind if you don't permit me. I can listen to your emotions loud and clear just as you can give attention to my words. It's called telepathy. We are connected because of the Queen's energy signature within you. Unlike any other human beings, you are one of the few who can hear us directly without me a.s.serting anything. Also, I am bound to you since you gave birth to me. Hah Hah Hah!" She released a high-pitched and horribly childlike laughter.

"..Telepathy? Whoa, what's with giving birth to you? What I did was to leave you in that large gold goblet and then you came out!" I coughed and plainly told her the things I did to bring forth her existence. Seeing how her playful and cheerful att.i.tude, I realize how she's like me, making me understand the reason why there is existence like her.

"Alright, now I want to understand how you realize all of these things when you're just a newborn that has recently emerged from its egg?" mysteriously showing awareness to its being is unbelievable. You can't see newborn humans starting to address about how he is being conceived and about weird things at that, like its just normal. Not that this is within human reasoning, but at least show a sign of being a newborn!

"I understand how this is incomprehensible, but this is a privilege from the Queen's energy signature that's ingrain within your body as a source of your vigour and magic. Think of it as a seedling that thrives within you, giving you the power to conquer the impossible!" saying things with her arrogant high-pitched childish voice as if I am fated to some grand scheme... Stroking while inclining my head. Ugh! It makes my head hurts.

"Your guess is also as good as mine, my Lord. However, knowledge is embedded in my soul the moment I have yield consciousness. Furthermore, I am here to apply the necessary action to help oversee your growth and many things. Next, we'll begin the appraisal of your character cla.s.s. Are you ready, my Lord?" I nodded not because I have an option in the first place. Watching her being comfortable with me indicates that she regards highly what is inside me. Magic, huh. So, I endured that excruciating experience to acquire magic.

Before I know it, I narrate what transpired from the entrance of the cave until now. Hoping that this tiny fairy perceived my circ.u.mstances and do something about it.

"And, oh! Before I forgot. Please don't call me your Lord from now on. It's awfully embarra.s.sing! You should know by now, I am but a commoner, I don't have a proper name. How about you? What should I call you?" I added.

"Oh. heh heh. I also don't have a name yet. I am a newborn, after all. I suppose you can agree on how I can be called later. Also, the system will request a proper name from both of us. I believe we need to think about a name suited to you. So, choose wisely, my Lord! Heh heh," she chuckled.

A freeman is worthy to get a name from the lord himself which will then be consecrated by the clergy on a ritual, albeit arbitrary choosing a name has never reached my mind - a commoner. If I will need it myself, then I shall provide for my own.

Standing in front of the statues, I placed my hands inside the golden goblet which this pixie urged me to do. She said to imagine me pouring something into the goblet just like I am fetching water and transferring it to another cask. I did. How can I transfer something I do not have? This is insane. However, I remembered Kalpea pouring white light to the flower before, feeling the energy that once permeated through my body and directed to the goblet. Hence I tried copying what she did and the goblet lit. She flew around me saying it's my energy that I am pouring to the goblet, not the water. How enigmatic. After several minutes later, the light weakened and we were able to observe the gooey, dark essence inside the goblet. It's a deep reddish-black goo that looks like blood. Is this my energy?

"How peculiar. It's like a lemure." the pixie gawked.

"What do you mean peculiar and what is a lemure?" I asked.

"It's a creature of the night, blobs of molten, stinking dark reddish flesh that oozed across the ground as they moved, just like slime but different," she replied.

"Lemure, huh." I pondered.

Shortly after, the goo crawled from the goblet and wrapped my hands, a big interconnected seven-diamond leaf and small diamonds filling the gap etched at the back of my hands appeared. Although, it's the same feeling as if I am basking in the mid-sun of the spring season, it's warm and yet relaxing heat continues to hold my hand while penetrating directly at the back of the hand. I mean, it's like an infant clenching its hand on to its mother's arm. Well, it's my gooey energy after all.

"10% Restriction lifted. Magic is now operational. System established," the loud dull voice report as usual in one go without pauses. I can't comprehend how these words are being used by this lady. Where is she? Is that a spirit solely for declaring one's intention? No matter, I believe she mentioned that the magic is established and should now be completed. I wonder what cla.s.s I belong to?

"Please press the box with your hand along with your mana and indicate the name of your guide fairy," then the three-dimensional box returned to my sight glowing and floating, I looked at the pixie and she nodded and rested in my shoulder. I nudged my hand that momentarily p.r.i.c.kled my palm after I loudly say,

"...Sprigg!"

I shyly squinted, impulsively choosing the name of her specie, a Spriggan. She giggled and said she was expecting that name. I slightly bowed my head because I am an awful lad for this kind of thing, not choosing a lovely name for her. Well, it's not that I know a lot of lady's name. Then comes my turn. I guess this is the time to use the proper name she told me to use from now on since the glowing box appeared again. Alright, after thinking over and over again, let's use that name, then.

"Lemure!"

I roared saying the name I want. I get the chance of acquiring a name that freemen possess. I am obviously thrilled. However, I felt like a sudden breeze of dizziness on my head. I think I am just tired of all the things happened. This might not be a bad thing at the end of the day.

"Integrating Flower's magic essence to the player. Activating support level." Sprigg who's resting in my shoulder earlier slowly hovers in front of me raised her right hand along with a strange lifeless jade-green gaze and said, "Player registration complete."

It's been a few days now since we reached the outer part of the castle so we can check for the remaining areas that are not searched the houses inside the second wall or if there are any hidden rooms. I also have her appraise my magic skills since she mentioned I am cla.s.sified as a mage, a magic wielder or a wizard. I am totally bewildered with the terms she uses but I evidently understand it for some reasons. Do you know how nostalgic a thing appears to be recognized but is the first time you heard? I had those strange dreams before and I think this is one of it and I think that the flower has something to do with amplifying it.

"That's right. You are in the Castle of King Agar, the Great Spirit of the abyss. Ruler of darkness and souls created by the Supreme G.o.d of Creation too. This realm is ruled by Queen Kalpea and King Agar. The rulers of Life and Death." she paused, inspecting my hands where the flower permeated back then. Seeing how she carefully check the strange flower inked into my skin she continues to tell me the origin of these beings I never knew existed.

"Also, humans are a special case. They are the descendants of the High Humans which were created by the ancient G.o.ddess - Agartha, as a gift to the Supreme G.o.d of creation, Noir. High Humans are eradicated due to its volatile nature and overwhelming abilities. Some fairies are the product of Fae's and a High Human." she continues to explain what she can appraise, she says it's called downloading.

"How about magic, Sprigg. Do you know how it originates?"
