Gantz:the Devil Within 3 First Mission Part 1

"she vanished "everybody just stood there looking with disbelief at the place where nora stood.

"what happened to her?"her eyes filled with tears jessica picked up one of the wepons pointing it at kurono she asked

kurono silently looked at her for a while before turning his head toward the cases.

when looking at Jessica's eyes he couldn't help but remember himself when he lost his comrades,he had the same desperate eyes.

"you wear those if you want to live. "he hesitated for a moment before opening his case he pointed toward the black suit inside it.

ignoring their questioning eyes and the weapon that was still pointing at him he started stripping down until he was stark naked, then in front of everyone he put in the suit, the others watching him didn't know how to react especially the girls turning their head the other way with a red face.

'let's see, one controller and one x-gun are enough.'looking at the gantz weapons kurono picked two.

there are a lot of weapons gantz provided before the start of every mission :the controller, the x-gun, the

x-shotgun and the y-gun .

what kurono chose are the two first ones

the radar also known as the controller which is a strange looking device used to locate an enemy's or a friend's position all of wich is shown in a small screen, it also has another ability and that is making the holder invisible.

the other one which jessica was holding known as the x-gun it has the same shape of a regular gun with some differences,it doesn't use bullets as ammo instead it uses compressed energy making it more deadlier,however dodging it is possible.

'there are two other things,the gantz sword and the bike'thinking to this point kurono slowly walked toward a shuted door.

"it's closed dumb-."before the gangster could finish his words the sound of the door creaking cut him off

while entering the room kurono had a strange feeling that he would soon get transferred , smilng he picked up one of the swords scattered around the room then jumped to the bike standing in the middle before looking toward the others

"one more thing,don't go far away from the place you'll be summoned to "just like nora he started to dissapear but this time the bike also vanished with him .

kurono and his friends in the past always tried to convince the others of wearing the suit to survive but there always were guys who just can't be bothered with,this time he chose to give them some advice it depends on them if they believe it or not

looking at the unfamiliar tall buildings around him, kurono noticed that he was in a city diffirent from tokyo not even from j.a.pan .

'the mission first 'it was the middle of the night but that could not stop people from going out,the place was crowded with humans it was hard to move with his bike ,the only choice he had was to continue in foot.

activating the radar he sarted searching for the enemy , in less than a minute a red dot popped out in the screen indicating the enemy's presence.

using the controller he made sure to turn himself invisible first before tracking the alien,he started jogging then slowly increased his speed until the pa.s.serbys could feel strong wind pa.s.sing by them.

he kept on running toward his prey pa.s.sing people, bikes and cars when he suddenly found himself in a

dark creepy alley,he stopped then slowly walked to the other end when he heard a wimpring sound turning to his right he found nora crouching on the ground her body trembling.

lifting her head she looked at him with a look of horror on her face.

'how did she notice me?'he was invisible so while he could see her she shouldn't be able to.

seeing the look of horror intensifying on her face and how she was pus.h.i.+ng herself out of the way he felt something fishy.

'something's behind me 'before he could turn around to verify,he felt sharp claws striking him on the back sending him flying he crashed into a car.

cough_cough

'this thing largely ressembles a dog did he detect me by smell?'

the invisible power was gone and he was visible again,

slowly rising from the almost destroyed car kurono started coughing.

'i was careless' he wasn't expecting to be located that easily so he got hit, thanks to the batlle suit tough no damage happened.

the dog like alien approached kurono with fast speed,then he slowly started circling around him looking at him with predator eyes.

kurono didn't wait for the the creature to attack he chose to strike first,slowly crouching down he took an attacking position,after he activated the suit's power you could see its artificial muscles expanding,with a boom sound he leapt toward his enemy

the alien felt the urge to dodge but it was too late, before he could move kurono covered a distance of 10 meters in one second with one flip of his hand he cut a large wound in the side of the alien with the gantz sword.

"ughhhhhh"growling at him the dog like creature was moving with difficulty.

"hope you're worth some points,you probably aren't "kurono said that before shooting him with the x-gun in his hand

it took a significant amount of time before the alien's head exploded,it would have been harder if he fought the alien with the x-gun instead of the sword, considering the speed of creature it could have dodged it easily.

the fight was too quick it finished in mere seconds however it left a deap impression in nora's heart ,she couldn't get on her legs from fright so she was leaning on a wall.

"c_can we leave now that it's dead?"nora asked with a hopeful tone

"hooooooowl"

there was silence for a moment then he opened his mouth but before he could say anything a scary howl was heard frightening the two of them.

"look out"nora yelled

boooom

hearing her scream kurono jumped from his place activating the suit's power he dashed toward nora,

in the place he was standing you could see a crater of 5 meter radius in the center stood a larger version of the alien he just defeated

keeping his speed he hugged nora before rus.h.i.+ng towards the alley where the enemy wouldn't be able to enter thanks to it's size.

putting the blus.h.i.+ng nora down he turned toward the monster and slowly approached it .

with the suit's muscles expanding and moving like they were alive,he started running toward the enemy.

seeing it's prey resisting the alien became furious, with a growl it started advancing toward kurono.

before the enemy's claws could reach him with a leap he jumped to the side, but when he decided to strike, the enemy's tail hit him hard on the jaw throwning him high in the air .

looking at the large alien's teeth going to gnash on him kurono took his sword ready to strike when a shadow flashed by taking him to the roof at one of the buildings.

"you wore it "looking at the gantz suit louis was wearing kurono said in surprise but he quickly added

"i didn't need your help "

"yeah but we do" louis said looking at the large dog like alien with fear in his eyes.
