Rune was distressed about his sweeties when he heard someone's sobbing. It was very faint and if not for his heightened senses which were opened as he was hiding from his sweeties he would have surely missed it. He followed the owner of the voice and soon came in front of his parent's bedroom.

It was awkward for him to stand before his parent bedroom and eavesdrop on them but his gut said that something was wrong. His mother was crying so heart-wrenchingly today. He had only seen his mother cry 2 times. The first time his mother cried so much was 8 years ago when his sweeties were sent to the hostel for their studies and today was the second time. His heart told him that his mother was probably crying again because of his sweeties.

His mind was in utter mess. He had several questions but no answer."What is happening? Why are their so many riddles but no solution? so much question but no answer? Are his sweeties in danger or what?

with so much in his mind he decided to spy on his parents. He easily broke his father's defenses and stood by the door merging in the shadows so that no one can see him. He heightened his senses and soon he could hear faint voices of his parents and then he heard their complete conversation. At the end of the conversation his heart turned cold and his whole body became numb. He swiftly started his father's defense again in case he noticed and went to his room. He exhaled a deep breath which he didn't know that he was holding.

He fatly changed his clothes and wore his sleeping robe then laid on his bed.

His mind drifted and his various thoughts jumbled inside his mind. His head was messed up, everything around him was messed up. He didn't know who was his ally and who was his enemy. The conspiracy was far more sinister than he imagined. Earlier he was still confused about some matters but now he was clear, at least he knew where to start from.

No matter what his sweeties were his priority and the only thing that matter to him was their safety and well being.

To h.e.l.l with Lord Arthur, Knight Vladis, Reinstle empire, and to h.e.l.l with everyone. Come what may he would protect his sister at any cost even if he to die in the process.

And with this thought in his mind he was clear about what to do and what to protect and then without any delay he succ.u.mbed to sleep.

In his dream he saw a beautiful cradle which was rather big than any other cradle. Inside the cradle he saw 2 tiny little girls who were smiling and had their fingers inside their mouth. He also saw a young boy around 4-5 years who was gripping the cradle and was staring at the little girls non stop.

Mother, mother are these little sweeties really my younger sister, the little boy asked in his cute voice, with some anxiety.

He was afraid that his mother would deny him and thus he had already made several plans to abduct the babies. To his relief his mother nodded with a sweet smile.

That was the day when he was the happiest. While starting in the eyes of his little sweeties he promised them, "little sweeties I promise you that your big brother will forever protect you and ensure that you both always lead a happy and carefree life".While he was vowing to his sisters the young boy noticed a necklace around their neck. It was a simple necklace with a silver chain and a blue crystal hanged on it. Although they both had individual necklaces somehow they looked like pieces of the puzzle. He instantly became curious and dragged his father near the cradle.

Father look here. Why are the sweeties wearing these necklaces? They are so ordinary and even if we want them to gift a necklace shouldn't we be giving something nice to them. The necklace was nothing great and could be considered as ordinary.

His father seriously replied, "because they both are the keys to one of the greatest unsolved mysteries of wizardry.

What, are you sure father. How can these tiny harmless girls be key to some mystery, the boy asked in obvious annoyance.

His father just laughed and shrugged his shoulder. Grow up as fast as you can Rune so that you can protect your sweeties and with that his father disappeared, his whole dream disappeared and he finally went into a dreamless state.
