A Wizard's Romance 29 Tale Of Blue Crystal

The blue crystal is not an ordinary crystal. It was one of the blessings given by Lord Lucas to Ancestors of Taylor's. It had immense power within it and had the capability to turn the wheel of time for once. This was the blessing asked by a Taylor who wanted to bring back his dead wife and was successful in it. Unfortunately, he never found out that his wife's murder was planned by his best friend who was a necromancer by race. She never liked necromancers and thus she hid her secret very tightly and the Taylor was oblivion to her schemes. She knew the secret that wizards can't be with their love because of their magic and even if they wizards get together with their beloved they will ultimately die thus she being a necromancer conspired a plot and killed his wife and then pretended to be sad.

She tried every scheme in her bag to win over Taylor but he was a loyal person and so he didn't budge. He tried everything he could and traveled to every nooks and corner of the empire and at last met with an old saint who told him a way to revive his beloved. He prayed to Lucas and thus was blessed with his beloved again but n.o.body knew what price he paid,he never told anyone not even his wife.

His best friend was devastated when she saw the beloved of Taylor and thus she again conspired a plan to kill his beloved.

Alas!

She was again successful, she killed the innocent woman again but this time she left a clue. She used the same poison to kill her which she used earlier which evoked Taylor's suspicion. He didn't tell anyone about his suspicion and vowed to find his wife's murderer. He would be a fool for sure if he did not realize that someone was h.e.l.l-bent on killing his wife. He trailed on the clues and finally found the reason that his wife was killed by the same poison twice.It was shocking news but the most shocking news was that the poison used to kill her beloved was a rare poison which can be only made by one person and that person was none other than his best friend.

He was filled with rage but later he drowned in despair. He lost his will to live and thus he killed himself in front of his best friend by eating the same poison which she used on his wife to kill her. In his last moments, he kept muttering his wife's name and died with a peaceful expression. He died for love.

Seeing his love die in front of her made the girl sad and sorrowful and so she tried to commit suicide by eating the same poison but before she can eat the poison a shadow of women entered in front of her. The shadow was of Taylor's wife. She smiled sweetly at her and then kissed Taylor on his forehead then she took a turn and stood in her front of her.

She said to her,"Do you know what Taylor sacrificed for me.

He sacrificed his soul for me. He asked Lucas to bind our souls so that he can live with me so and with that a blue crystal appeared on her hand which then broke in two symmetrical pieces.

You will never be able to take him from me so dream on.You know, Lucas asked him a question that if he dies one day then who will be the person whom he will give this crystal to safeguard it and to which he gave your name without a second thought, too bad you were never worthy of his trust.I should commend you for your great acting skills but let me remind you Taylor saw trough your act and he also found out about you being a necromancer so your plan of dying with him by swallowing the same poison is useless.He already swallowed the ingredients to be get away from your curse.

She again turned and moved toward Taylor's lifeless body and embraced him gently . She sweetly grinned and then slowly said to her without even looking back "if you want to get rid of your sins and if you ever loved him then bring this shattered crystal to Lord Lucas temple and bury this in front of his temple under the sandalwood tree and with that both her and Taylor vanished leaving blue lights with sparkles in it.

n.o.body knows if this story is true or not but it is the only story which is pa.s.sed down generations to generations in our Rubin's family, Resel said with a straight face.

Rune was also quiet after hearing this story.Truth to be told he was a bit surprised about this backstory of their family.

If this is the true then why don't we know about this ,aren't we Taylor's too ,he asked suspiciously.Although he had some clues but he need to be sure about the truth .

Only the head of Taylor's family and his official wife have the right to know about this story.Moreover this story is cursed and if someone ,someday leak this information the ciurse will befall on them,Resel said with a low voice.

Rune face became a bit pale and he questioned her,Is this the reason you didn't told me earlier ?

Resel just nodded her head in acknowledgment with a sad face.

Rune was sad but there was nothing he could do that to help her.

For some time n.o.body spoke anything and the =room sunk in silence.

I think the locked library contains some information about blue crystal and so that is the reason it is so mysterious and well hidden.If my sacrifice can help the empire then i am willing to be sacrificed and will help you but you have to promise me one thing ,that my father will not face any implications,Resel said with a determined expression on her face.

Rune knew that it was almost impossible to save Mr Rubin from the implication. Afterall if words get out about locked library then he would be the first one to be executed.For the first time he was helpless and the only person who can help him was that man but to ask for his help would be a humiliation to him.He swallowed his anger then weakly nodded his head in acknowledgment.

He made up his mind to find this locked library but before this he needs to make sure that Rese is safel.He can't implicate an innocent person.

Don't worry Mr Rubin will be safe and i will make sure to counter this curse but for that you need to come with me.Can you ,he hesitatingly asked her.

Resel was shocked when she heard him.She thought that her ears were playing tricks on her ,"Did this man suggested to help me",she thought inside her mind and then stared at him for sometime.

After confirming that she heard him correct she fell on a dilemma."I have never left my fathers side and i don't think he would ever allow me to leave this library",she said helplessely.

Don't worry ,I have a plan but will you follow me,he asked smilingly.

Resel fell on a daze .Why did this statement seems so ambiguous she thought to herself.She blushed and then nodded her head acknowledging her head.

Okay the let's leave it's almost time for that guard's return.We should hurry up otherwise it would be difficult,Rune said.

Resel stood up to leave and then she extinguished the candle lamps and followed Rune .

Halfway the guard came back and it made Resel scared.

Rune hugged her and covered her with his black cloak,"Shhh don't move or speak just hold me tightly and move with me then we both will not be discovered "

Although Resel was reluctant to hold Rune she still clung on him and followed him with a pout on her face.

In the darkness ,Rune wore a faint smile on his face and merged in the darkness and then escorted Resel to her room.

He bid farewell to Resel and then went to his room to make up for lost sleep.
