A Wizard's Romance 5 Conspiracy In Shadows

After yesterday's discussion Chesire was sent on his missions and Vladis being a hardworking man was busy dealing with the work. Arthur had a huge empire to manage and it was very troublesome to manage it. Vladis always complained about been overworked but the truth was not at as it seems. Vladis was Arthur's right-hand man and he was the knight commander of his army so he had a lot of work to deal with but it didn't mean Arthur had any easy. As good as it seems to be powerful and to be a wizard, it also had some consequences. Though Vladis had the pressure to handle military warfare and issues related to Arthur's safety Arthur had to always deal with the pesky council, mighty beast, crazy witches, and the women who were infatuated with his charms. Arthur hated the women who were shallow and greedy. Then there were other three empires with whom he had to maintain good relations. Although there were fights going on behind the shadows for power but they all had to pretend like peace-loving peoples.

Inside his lavish study Arthur was drowning in his paperwork when he heard a knock on his door and before he can even speak enter Vladis came inside and leisurely sat on the couch with a stiff smile on his face.Arthur was intrigued by Vladis smile . Arthur always had a lazy smile while Vladis used to always smile like suns.h.i.+ne but whenever Vladis used to wear this stiff smile it was not a good omen.At this time Arthur wanted nothing more than to kick Vladis out of his study and just like he predicted after completing the drink which was put beside the couch Vladis came towards his desk and handed him a paper.It was a very old paper which has lost his l.u.s.ter and had smudges all over the paper but still the handwriting was recognizable.When Arthur saw the handwriting on a paper he frowned because to him the handwriting seems to known. The handwriting was beautiful with cursive strokes but the content inside paper was exceptionally rough.

The content of the letter was ,"My love,

I love you from the depth of my heart . For me you were my G.o.ddess to whom I devoted my entire life. I feel alive and wanted when i am with you. When darkness engulfed me your smiling face was the only thing which made me sane.I never believed in G.o.d or any religion but after meeting you I decided to only pray you.I do't care about man's dignity , I only beg you to come to me . Please embrace me one more time, kiss me one more time, smile at me one more time, please just for once come in my embrace. I promise i can die for your one embrace.Please accept my love."

Tsk, Tsk, Tsk such a c.r.a.ppy love confession, Arthur disdainfully commented.Don't you think this handwriting is just same as your's and also the use of the words are also somewhat like ,which would be used by you.

Vladis was silent for a moment before giving a sharp look to Arthur.

He was also feeling the same but he won't admit it.You will probably fail to win a women's heart if you continue disdaining everything related to love.If you want to live your entire life being not loved by anyone the be my guest and continue doing this,Vladis spoke contempt.

You know i don't believe in love.A man can only have desires and for fulfilling them i have enough resources.Let's concentrate on the issues first .You were going to report me about council's work .Go ahead, Arthur blandly spoke.

Brian and Reseen are planning something in the dark.Their activities have been suspected for some time. They both have made several visits to the Soyles empire.From the sources it is confirmed that they have some kind of dealings with Lord Sien.The Soyles empire is not blessed with magic nor they are capable of any sorcery . They have always lived their life in seclusion and are supposed to be living a rather happy life.

They are the elites and Brian is the head strategist of warfare while Reseen is an extremely astute and meticulous person who doesn't leave any clues behind him. We need to be extremely careful and had to plan very methodically.Vladis explained everything patiently.

Arthur was grinning the whole time and after vladis became quiet there was a glint in his eyes that can't be concealed.It was evident that he was becoming interested in this conspiracy game.

Vladis you are sure have good observation .For the time being continue having tabs on both of them but do it more discreetly after all they all are our precious uncles and my father's loyal subordinates,he sarcastically said.

Okay, Vladis replied but his eyes were glued on the confession letter the whole time which Arthur noticed and gave a light chuckle.

What don't tell me that you want the letter. Are you going to write such mushy confession to someone. Care to tell me Arthur teased him.

Vladis maintained a poker face and said,"you wish,i only intend to take the letter for studying the ink and for finding out the time duration it was written. Maybe it will help us in our investigation after all the letter was found in the official record of vladella when she was the vice-chancellor of Reinstle empire .oh i forgot to tell you that i need one week vacation"

Why? lord enquired.

Vladis sighed and gave a helpless smile , because I have to entertain my fiancee for a week.

Arthur was delighted to witness the scene in front of us and happily gave him one week's vacation.
