Just about then her phone rang and it popped up " Private number". She gave an intense look and picked it up and a stern, low pitched voice came from the other end " As soon as my brother wakes up I want to s.h.i.+ft him. He is not safe in there. And I would like you to allow him for the same. I will make all the arrangements with the latest medical equipments that you need. Please go over the list my secretary is getting for you and add anything amiss in it. Thanks ." And he kept the phone without even letting her speak.

As soon as she was about to start cribbing about the guys att.i.tude, there was a knock on the door. She replied with" Come in." It was a tall, lean guy in a tailored suit with a list in his hand. He introduced himself ,"h.e.l.lo ma'am. I am Patrick , Mr Marshall's secretary. He asked me to show you this and confirm and add in it ,if any more requirements." She gave him a angered look , took the list from his hand went through it thoroughly and added a few things and gave it back. She said " It's done! Let me be clear towards my decision about this whole thing. He only leaves when I say he leaves. Understood! Please convey the same to your boss."

He nodded in grat.i.tude and confusion and left. Finally when the door opened Lily almost dashed into Patrick and stared at him as he left. She rushed in and gave the coffee and asked in a very exciting tone " Who was that?". And then relaxed for a bit and then calmly again she said " He looks as if a very high end firm employee!".

Dr s.h.i.+rley answered " Yes he is indeed! He is secretary of a reputed firms CEO " As soon the word reputed dropped out of Dr s.h.i.+rley's mouth. Lily couldn't believe her. And then she started with even more questions. But Dr s.h.i.+rley gave her a look that said it all. "Oh yeah I forgot that high profile case ... Confidential! Got it. Enjoy your coffee." As she was leaving she heard Dr s.h.i.+rley's phone ring she just replied " I am coming in 5." And Dr s.h.i.+rley sped off to the private ICU section. At the entrance she saw that there were bodygaurds in every inch of that place with the logo of MM on there black suit.

She entered the ICU the intern was staring at her. She looked at the vitals and nudged the intern for him to start speaking. He blurted " his SPO2 levels dropped to 78% at 3 litres of oxygen. Hence I gave him some nebulisation and increased his nasal oxygen to 5 litres. His SPO2 is now 95%." She checked the patient thoroughly went through the charts adjusted some meds and asked the intern to have a break for 30 mins to have something,a.s.suring him that she will be looking after the patient in his absence. He left immediately.

She sat there going through his charts and saw his name Michael Marshall on his wrist band. Why was the entire Marshall empire on his name? Everything they owned had the logo of MM. But when we see it, he is not interested in his family business, nor his family money. He doesn't want to get into the family business like Daniel. He wanted to be himself. She remembered how she had met him 3 years ago in her clinical meet. He had come to her with twinkling eyes and introduced himself as just Micheal and even told her he was a neurosurgeon in the making and she was his inspiration.
