That was the last time she heard of him. He just vanished .. just like that and haven't even heard about him for the past 3 years. And he returned like this. She was still in her thoughts when the intern walked in behind her and said " Ma'am I am back. You can leave now. " She gave him a smile and said " Take good care of him and a smallest change in his stats, inform me. Ok." He nodded in agreement.

She left and on her way out turned and gave a glance again and thought "What happened to you Micheal. Where were you for the last 3years ? Why did you cancel then? ". With all this in her mind, she went to her room and took her belongings and called Lily through the intercom " Lily get me a driver or a cab to take home . Can't drive today. " Lily replied instantly "I have already arranged it. He is waiting for you downstairs by your car." s.h.i.+rley smiled and said " I think I have to give you a raise soon. Thanks I am leaving. No OPD bookings this week. You know I am still on leave right so will be continuing my leave. Will only come to see my in-patient. Ok." Lily replied " Yes ma'am. Noted. Goodnight."

s.h.i.+rley took the elevator and walked to the parking area found the driver standing. He enquired " Dr Shaw ?" she replied in agreement and then handed him the car key. She got in and he started the car. It was real late at night so the streets were empty. She didn't even know how the time went off. And just prayed that Michael gets better. And soon enough she reached her apartment. She got out at there parking gave him the money, he said " Thank you ma'am." She took the keys he offered and walked towards the elevator. She lived on the 21st floor. Although she was afraid of heights, she loved the view and the breeze. And the best part was the balcony, she always wanted one with a swing chair.

She reached her floor opened her room. Got in kept all her stuff in there places went to washroom and had a hot bath, changed into home clothes and went to kitchen. She made herself some coffee and went to the balcony and sat on the swing. While she was about to relax she heard someone say " Such a c.r.a.ppy apartment . How do u stay in this place?" She couldn't believe it and slowly turned around and saw Naoh standing in her PJs. She sighed in relief and starred at her in anger. Noah siad " Oops ! Did I scare you? I didn't mean too!"

She kept her coffee and ran towards her and they played a bit and s.h.i.+rley tried catching Noah. At last the both got tired and laid down on the floor all exhausted. And then Noah spoke up " I didn't wanna go home. And I missed you a lot so came to stay here." s.h.i.+rley replied."
