Magical Ties 81 New Beginning

Astila is awakened by a loud cry sitting up in the bed looking around. Sharp pain in his head blinds him. Holding his head he curled up on the bed in agonizing pain. When the pain subsides he is on the mountain ridge. This time a beautiful woman is standing with the shaman. She bows to him in acknowledgment. He returns her bow.

"Do not be alarmed. I have come with Uktena this time to introduce myself. I am Morrigan the G.o.ddess of Death. Don't be afraid your not dying. I have come to talk to you about a decision that has been made. You see Aisling has decided that she wants to remember your previous journey and keep her gifts. You as the other person must decide if you agree?" She takes Uktena hand and they place their other hand out toward Astila. With this action, he begins to remember his past with Aisling. He gets frantic when he remembers her unconscious in the hospital. Uktena raises his hand to calm him.

"She is fine do not worry. Since you helped her to free those in the past you get a choice as well. You can choose to remember your past with her or you can have a new path. Which would you choose?"

"I love her with every fiber of my being whatever path she chooses I will take. My only wish is that whichever path it is my path always leads to her. I am here because I came looking for her. She is the very best of my heart. " he kneels to them begging them to keep him with her. The two look at each other and smile.

"Ok, then you shall be returned to her as her husband. You will remember everything from the past. Also, you will have a number of surprises in the future. "Uktena puts his hand on Astila's shoulder and Astila wakes back in the room. Rus.h.i.+ng to get back to the hospital to see Aisling.

When he arrives she is waking up. Her uncle and aunt are sleeping she notices him in the doorway. Tears of happiness begin to slip down her cheeks. He rushes across the room to the opposite side of the bed to take her in his arms. Kissing her as if his very existence depended on it. Steve wakes up and clears his throat.

"Son I know you have been anxious and that you are newlyweds. This is not the time or place for this. I think I will get the Dr to let him know she is awake. " with that he wakes his wife and they go to let the nurses know she is awake. Aisling looks at him her eyes drinking in his face. To her, it seems a lifetime since she was with him. He kisses her again just to be sure she is real.

"I can't believe that I almost lost you. That our story could have been reset. " he kisses her forehead laying his against hers.

"When I woke this morning I kept feeling like I was missing something. I was missing you. When given the choice all I wanted was to be with you. To be your wife, I know that we would have still found each other. I just couldn't lose the bonds we already had, or lose the people we already met. Besides this way, we are already married and I do not have to wait to love you. I want to go home and spend the night making love to you. " she kisses him pulling him down completely in the bed with her.

"Excuse me but the patient is not ready for this. I understand that you are newlyweds but this is still a hospital. As a Dr, you should know better Dr.People." They giggle and turn to face the Dr. and nurse along with Aisling's family. Astila rolls his eyes and sheepishly apologizes.

"Well, my dear it looks like the problem is your electrolytes we're depleted along with dehydration was the culprit. With that, we ran a few routine tests. You, my dear, are pregnant by about two months. We replenished your electrolytes and you will need to follow up with an obstetrician. If your levels look ok in the morning you may go home. You will need to be very careful with your diet and no s.e.x until after your obstetrician checks you out." He congratulated them on their baby and leaves the family to talk.

Aisling's auntie Jin grins with excitement and rushes over to lay on the other side of Aisling. Hugging her tightly.

"Congratulations my love I'm so excited about this little one. Now we need to talk about something. I am feeling very left out so we need to hook this little one up with a good Korean." Aisling laughs at her auntie.

"No seriously did Aisling never tell you she has two kinds of men she likes. Asian and tan that's it no one else even registers with her." Winking at Astila she giggles

"I'm not playing though I have always hoped that you would follow your first instincts with guys. Then this guy saved you from the snakes and all my dreams were dashed. I love you though Astila I'm happy for you." She hugs them both forgetting that her husband was watching them.

"Well, auntie you know all hope isn't gone. Salali I believe is in love with Randy, you never know you may get a traditional wedding out of them." Jin looks at her husband and smiles brightly. He just shakes his head at the foolishness of his wife. Leaning down he kisses his niece's cheek and drags his wife out of the bed.

"We will go back to the house and see you guys later. Get some rest and I will call the others to let them know you are awake. I promise I will let you make the announcement of your little lotus. " with that the couple is left alone. They snuggle together on the bed. Neither wanting there to be any s.p.a.ce between them. Astila looks at Aisling with a disgruntled face.

"So you and Randy never had anything right?" Aisling burst out laughing.

"No, we have always just been close friends. The only crushes I have had are on kpop idols and actors. I always loved you since I was fourteen. Though you will need to deal with my obsession with them. I can stay awake for days binge-watching a show. Next to you, they are the s.e.xiest men. " she gushed over thinking of them. Astila sighs he guesses he will just have to keep her too busy to watch them.
