CALLIXUS ACADEMY: Captivated By The School Hearthrob 19 Practice

"Okay I want all girls and boys to stand in separate lines, than face each other," said the ch.o.r.eographer. Everybody did as told.

"Do you know the legend of Mr. and Ms. Callixus?" Caleb asked while reaching out for Samantha's hand.

"Don't know, don't care," she answered while unwillingly placing her hand on Caleb's.

The two started to dance smoothly, following the slow tempo of the music.

"Hey don't be so cold," Caleb complained, "Well you know, there's a legend going around for many years now around Callixus.. They say that whoever wins the pageant, they're most likely to end up together in the future," he spoke.

"Tss, who would believe such nonsense?" Samantha rolled her eyes.

"Why? You never know, when we win, we might really end up together," Caleb smiled playfully at Samantha.

"Dream on."

"Yeah its my dream and I'll make it come true," his smile widening.

Samantha's heart suddenly skipped a beat. Was he saying that he wants them to win and be together? Oh no! Erase, erase.

"You okay?" Caleb asked her when he saw that Samantha was s.p.a.cing out a bit.

Snapping out from her thoughts, she suddenly twisted her foot and fell on the floor. Since her hand was holding Caleb's, he fell down with her, landing on top of her.

Caleb and Samantha's eyes met, looking at each other, staring deep. It was like the everything around them suddenly stopped. Samantha stared at his beautiful blue eyes that looked like it was calling her, she just can't help it but take a good look of it.

"Are you guys okay?" the ch.o.r.eographer approached them.

"Sam are you okay?" Ezekiel asked worriedly.

"Are you okay?" Caleb asked Samantha, breaking the gaze between them.

"Yeah.. y-you're heavy," Samantha complained.

Caleb immediately stood up and helped Samantha get up.

"I'm going to the bathroom first," Samantha said then ran away immediately.

Inside the bathroom cubicle, "How embarra.s.sing Samantha! Geez, what were you doing under him?" she scolded herself. She wasn't able to control herself from his bewitching eyes. How humiliating!

Once she was done with herself monologue inside the the cubicle, Samantha went out immediately and went straight for the sink to wash her hands.

At the same time, Bella, Caleb's former partner, also just got out from a cubicle. She went in front of the sink beside Samantha.

"So, you like Caleb?" Bella suddenly spoke.

"I'm sorry, were you talking to me?" asked Samantha innocently.

"Do you see another person inside?" Bella spoke sarcastically, then she turned to walk in front of Samantha and looked at her in the eyes with a threatening glare, "I'm warning you, keep your distance from Caleb because he's mine," she said.

Samantha suddenly chuckled, "Oh he's yours? Does he know?" she reb.u.t.ted mockingly, "As far as I know, Caleb is very single right now. Are you imagining things?" Samantha pointed at her temple.

"You!" Bella suddenly raised her arm and slapped Samantha on the face, "Take my warning seriously Samantha, he belongs only to me," she said in gritted teeth.

Suddenly, two loud slapping sounds were heard. Bella held both sides of her face and glared at Samantha, "How dare you!" she shouted and raised her arm to throw another slap, but her arm was immediately caught by Samantha.

"First of all, I don't like being threatened. Second, I will do what I want Bella, you're not the one feeding me so there is no reason for me to follow you," she glared at the woman and tossed her arm away then left the comfort room.

On her way out, she was welcomed by a smiling Caleb.

"Thanks for defending me out there," he said, but Samantha just rolled her eyes at him and walked pa.s.s him.

"Hey wait for me!" Caleb shouted.

Grabbing her arm, Caleb pulled Samantha and pinned her to a wall.

"Let me go Caleb!" she protested.

Caleb stared into her eyes once again, softly he spoke, "Tell me, do I have a shot in your heart?" he asked.

Samantha suddenly hiccuped. Why was she being questioned like this again? First it was Ezekiel, now Caleb.

What am I suppose to answer to a question that I don't even know the answer to!?

Caleb leaned forward and kissed Samantha, on the forehead. He looked a her in the eyes sweetly and said, "No matter what your heart says, just follow it. Whatever your decision is, all I wish for you is happiness. Even if its not with me."

Samantha's heart suddenly raced. Was he telling her that it's okay for her to choose Ezekiel? Or she's just too stupid to understand things?

Lost in her thoughts, she felt a pat on her head.

"Come on, let's go back now. We still have practice," Caleb smiled and pulled away from her.

As soon as they got back in the practice hall, Ezekiel immediately approached her.

"Are you okay? Were you hurt anywhere?" he asked her worriedly.

"I'm okay Eze, don't worry," she smiled to a.s.sure him.

"That's good then, tell me immediately if you feel anything okay?"

Sabrina nodded in response then went back to practice with Caleb. All throughout the practice session today, Samantha's mind was occupied. She was thinking about what Caleb had told her earlier.

She definitely needs to choose now, while it was still early. Or else she'll end up hurting them both.

Who could it be?
