He was already resting for almost an hour now and her arm started to hurt already. She wondered, if this was the torture for today, she definitely feels tortured!

Her heart was uneasy, her arm hurts, her wrist hurts, and her head was in a mess. This was definitely it!

She can't help it but wonder about Caleb's sudden actions earlier.

First, he gripped her wrist tightly.

Then grabbed an ice pack for it.

And the most surprising in all was he said sorry.

All of the student's in Callixus knew he was a person not capable of saying sorry! Well, after all the things he did in here, offended teachers, bullied students, not a single sorry was ever heard from him and yet he told her sorry!

"What are you thinking?"

Samantha gasped in surprise. She thought he was asleep!

He lifter his head and then looked at her, "Are you mute? I've been asking you questions and not a single one was even answered," he questioned her but she just stared back at him again.

"Really?" he looked at her irritated, "You talk or I'll make you?" he threatened her.

"I'll talk!" she immediately answered him.

"Did I really need to threaten you just for you to talk?" he asked her.

"I just don't have anything to say earlier," she reasoned out, clutching her hands nervously.

"Are you scared of me Samantha?" he asked her seriously.

She hesitated at first before she nodded in agreement.

"Why?" he asked her.

"Who wouldn't be scared of you? You always offend people, embarra.s.s them, hurt them, I think it's enough reason to be scared of you," she answered him honestly while looking down, not daring to look at him in the eyes.

"But I won't do that to you," he told her while holding her chin up so that she was looking at him.

She looked at him with a confused expression. Not knowing how to explain to her, he leaned forward instead and pressed his lips onto hers.

As soon as their lips met, Samantha felt a strong flow of current in her body. She froze. Her eyes were wide open, trying to digest what was happening.

Caleb pulled himself and looked at her, "I won't do anything to hurt you Samantha, you just have to trust me," he told her.

Her heart and mind was in a big mess right now! Was this still a part of her punishment?

She still looked at him questioningly, not able to understand a thing. He felt helpless. This woman was so dense.

He just patted her head and stood up, "I'm hungry, let's go grab a bite," he told her then offered his hand to help her get up.

Both of them headed to the school cafeteria, Samantha just following Caleb. She was still in a daze.

She didn't understand anything at all!

"Don't think too much, your head will hurt," she heard Caleb said.

Yeah, he was right. Maybe she's just overthinking things too much.

Caleb ordered a footlong for the both of them and sat to where the Reverix usually sat. The set up in this corner of the cafeteria was different. Instead of mon.o.block chairs, there were sofas instead and the table there was made of gla.s.s.

It was a corner exclusively for Reverix only.

Soon, the students' gazes were all on Samantha.

"Isn't she the Reverix wanted?"

"She is. But why is she sitting at the Reverix lounge?"

"Wasn't she supposed to be being shamed already?"

A lot of speculations circled in the cafeteria immediately.

"Eat your food, I don't want you to be hungry," Caleb smiled at her then started to take a bite on his footlong.

Samantha, who felt conscious because of the people's eyes on her, slowly picked her food up and started to eat.

"Such a kid," Caleb suddenly leaned forward and wiped the sauce that was on the side of her lips. Then he licked the finger he used to wipe her lips and said, "Can't waste sauce," then he smiled at her playfully.

Her face instantly turned red because of what he did. Her face displayed a mixed look of shock and embarra.s.sment.

The students inside the cafeteria almost gasped in unison when they witnessed what Caleb did.

Wasn't she a wanted? Why is he treating her well?

People were all filled with questions, but Samantha was no way far from them.

Her head was again filled with questions.

Why is Caleb doing this? Was this his way of torturing others? Making them feel uncomfortable?

Caleb didn't mind Samantha and just ate his food.

After all the small signs he gave her, hasn't she picked up anything yet?

He wondered if she was just dense or pure stupid?

"Caleb we've been looking all over for you!" it was Jake together with the other 3 members of Reverix.

Jake was chasing his breath when arrived.

"Why anything happened?" asked Caleb.

"It's the Mavis group, they're looking for you!" Jake answered.

Caleb immediately stood up from his seat when he heard the word 'Mavis'. His gaze instantly darkened.

"Klay, accompany Samantha home," he instructed the man who was behind Jake. He turned his head towards Samantha who was all confused all over again and said, "You go with him," Samantha just nodded unconsciously.

Caleb and the others left the school immediately.

"Since when did they came back?" asked Caleb to Jake.

"I don't know, I also just knew everything today. An omega told me that the leader of the Mavis group was looking all over for you, he wants to kill you," Jake reported.

Mavis group was a group of vampires who is the number one enemy of Reverix.

Caleb had a secret he was not supposed to tell anyone. Well not only him, but the whole Reverix.

They are werewolves.

Yes, they existed.

Reverix was Caleb's own pack. He was the alpha of them.

While walking, Caleb removed his contact lenses, revealing his b.l.o.o.d.y red eyes.

He wore one to hide his alpha eyes that were blood red in color to avoid suspicion from the elders of this town that knew their existence.
