HellHunters Neo 7 The Gate

Riku had slipped away from Haru and Ti as they began their a.s.sault on the demon horde. As the horde slowly pulled away from the gate, Riku slowly made his way towards the wall entrance that led to the control center. The few demons trying to pry open the door way soon had their brains and blood splattered onto the sealed door. The few demons who were standing guard startled a moment as they hadn't heard a single gunshot over the explosions. There was 3 in total left around the doorway standing on high alert. Riku rushed forwards from behind a building drawing their attention. The first started rus.h.i.+ng towards him when he had to dive to the side avoiding the gunshots from Riku. The second leaped into the air swinging his war axe down at Riku. Riku slid along the ground on his side dodging the axe by a few inches. The sheathed katana pushed at the midsection of the demon flipping the demon off. Riku rolled at the end of the sliding motion aiming his gun at the last demon. It lifted its bow but just as it was about to knock its arrow the explosion from Haru shook him. The demon didn't even have time to adjust cause Riku timed his shot perfectly. The demon's head exploded out the back sending his brains and blood against the wall.

The other two demons adjusted their positions trying to get ready to counter attack. Before either could move Riku was to the one with the war axe. The katana slammed into his temple in its sheath. The demon's head caved from the force alone sending him tumbling into the other one. as the two laid toppled on the ground there was barely any the time to move when the war axe came flying over. The axe split the two in half with ease. Riku slowly walked towards the door pulling the crest from his waist. The crest was an black eye shape with a sword through it. He pushed the crest into place causing the black sand like metal to slowly slide away opening the door way. Once Riku pa.s.sed through the sand rose and sealed the door way once more.

The stairs were a large spiral staircase that went up all the way to the top. Riku stood in the center of it looking up before pointing his gun at the ground. He jumped up before firing into the ground. the force launched him into the air slowing a few feet from the top. He grabbed the rail with his free hand pulling himself over. He stood upright before opening the door to the control room. There were three guards who worked for the h.e.l.lHunters. They stood at attention when Riku entered the room. They barely had time to react as Riku lifted his desert eagle. He fired three rounds one shot to each head causing their bodies to fall. Riku put the gun in his holster before moving towards gate controls. He pushed the blood and hair out of the way before turning the dial. The scene showed a flame symbols and a warning symbol. Riku turned towards the roof hatch pus.h.i.+ng it open and climbing to the top. There were two demons up there a bit shocked as they felt the gate opening. As they saw Riku come from the hatch they tried to rush him. Riku smirked as he pulled the sheathed katana up before him smacking the both off the top of the gate. He lifted his gun into the air pulling the trigger. unlike the normal sound of a gun fire, the shot vibrated with the sound of thunder. The force of the shot shook buildings from the sound waves alone. Many demons turned to see what was going on while those fighting already knew what that was. It was Riku's way of calling for his form of back up. The gate was fully open when the demon army outside the walls began cheering. Riku on the other hand, The desert eagle clattered to the ground as Riku released the gun. His hand slowly grabbed the sheath of the katana drawing the blade out. As soon as the blade cleared the end of the sheath the sky lit up with lightning.

The army was rus.h.i.+ng through the gate when bolts of lightning hit before them. Two bolts of lightning to be exact. When the light cleared and their eyes adjusted from the flash stood two bodies. Both Riku and Saku brandis.h.i.+ng their swords in opposite hands. Riku in his left while Saku in his right. "You really are annoying" said Saku as he adjusted his stance to rush forwards.

"You still came and I figured you wanted a shot at the leader towards the back of this mess." riku responded getting ready himself.

Riku stepped before Saku blocking their view of him. Riku lifted his katana before speaking again "Roar Raikui Dazimuse" he said as lightning hit the tip of his sword. He jerked his arm forwards as the lighting made an arc from the tip towards the army. The demons had no chance to dodge as the lightning bounced across the demons as if it had its own life. Those hit by the lightning were instantly turned to ash. Those who looked at Riku saw he was no longer carrying a basic katana but a much larger Dadao that glowed with a golden blue energy. He rushed forth pus.h.i.+ng through the ashed remains of the demons turning them into dust clouds. His sword swung at the first demon in front of him causing another arc of energy to flash through the army. He moved back a bit before digging his feet into the ground. His handling of the sword even for its size was swift. He jumped into the air in a flip swinging the sword down at the ground. His sword collided with the ground causing lighting to blast in all directions of where he landed causing another group of demons to burst into ashes. Riku stood up right as the sword returned to a katana in his hand he stood up right as he looked tired. Sweat drenched his head as he used up most of his magical energy in those few attacks. The demons started to realize his aggressive onslaught that had decimated their front lines had came to an end. Just as they were about to retaliate something fired right down the middle of the army. It had enough force that those hit by it were turned into mists of blood and guts. Those who were close had limbs torn from their bodies. This attack fired through the army basically splitting the army in half.
