One Piece Buff System 18 18: Naguri's Training Edited

After hitting Naguri, Luffy looked at Sabo and asked: "How's this?" Sabo laughed once again. Ace looked Naguri before asking: "What hints did you give him?" Naguri looked at Ace and said: "Nothing special, he just cuts trees for me every day. I think this developed his muscles..." Naguri sat down again and Ace looked at him, lost for words for a few noticeable seconds. Haruno walked toward Luffy and gave him a cup of green tea. He advised: "Drink it slowly. You want some too Sabo?" Sabo nodded so Haruno removed from his s.p.a.ce another cup. He gave him the drink, who smiled in response: "Thanks." When he was going to ask Ace if he wanted some too, he heard him screaming at Naguri: "What would happen if Roger had a son?" 

Narugi thought and seriously said: "It won't be easy being his son. Whether he lives a normal life or a pirate one, he will be tormented by the name of his father. It definitely would be a hard life. I imagine that if I was his son, I wouldn't become a pirate. After all, the name of the father would ruin the life of the son..." Ace's expression changed to an angry one as he shouted: "Ruin the son's life? You don't know anything. Stop talking nonsense! Why don't you fight me instead, old man!?" 

After saying this, he jumped and swung his weapon to attack Naguri, who used his ma.s.sive hammer to parry Ace's attack. Sabo panicked: "Ace!". After the exchange, Naguri looked at Ace coldly and continued his answer: "As I said... In the world of pirates, the losers are killed..." Ace angrily said: "I won't lose!" He blocked, deflected Narugi's weapon and attacked again as fast as he could. The kid was still no match for the hardened veteran! Metal colliding sounds were heard as Ace attacked desperately and Narugi blocked. Ace sped up the speed of his attacks as Narugi had to start to evade. After some time, Narugi used his hammer to hit Ace's weapon, making it fly away. It landed on the boiling kettle, green tea now falling on the fireplace, extinguis.h.i.+ng it. 

Narugi proclaimed: "I win." Ace shouted back: "s.h.i.+t! You can do whatever you want with me!" Naguri smiled and said: "Then I want you to come with me!"

Luffy, Sabo, and Haruno made a surprised: " Ha?" sound as Naguri started to walk away with everyone in tow. After some distance was covered, they found the place where Naguri was building his s.h.i.+p. Luffy happily shouted: "Quick! Quick!" Sabo quietly said: "I didn't even know a cave was here..." Haruno, Ace, and Sabo followed Luffy and Narugi. Luffy continued to shout: "Guys! Quick, come here!" Haruno simply teleported to Luffy's side and smiled. Luffy then continued to shout: "Quick! Quick! Guys! Guys!" Sabo approached and asked: "What do you want, Luffy?!" Luffy just smiled while saying: "Don't be scared!" 

Ace looked at where Naguri was going and said: "That is... a s.h.i.+p!" Luffy grinned in answer: "Cool right?! An authentic pirate s.h.i.+p!" Haruno smiled too and said: "Yes it is!" Sabo looked stunned at Luffy and asked: "A pirate s.h.i.+p!? Is that what Naguri was building!?" With his hammer in hand, Naguri smiled and asked for help: "It would take an eternity to build it alone... Would you three give me a hand?" Ace, Sabo, and Haruno made an 'eh?' sound. Ace asked: "Give you a hand?" Naguri smiled and said: "You said that I could do anything to you..." Sabo and Haruno questioned at the same time: "W-wait! Why do I need to help you as well?!?" Naguri sincerely said: "Well, you are here too, so I asked." Sabo and Haruno shouted back angrily: "That doesn't make any sense!" Sabo continued: "We are busy hunting that tiger!" 

Naguri laughed and said: "I can give you hints on how to hunt that tiger!" Sabo looked at him with a stunned expression: "Eh? Really... Well then..." Ace looked at Naguri seriously: "Let me ask you a question. What are you going to do with this s.h.i.+p?" Naguri took his smoking pipe as smoke left his mouth. He then said: "To go to the sea of course. I'll find my crew that broke apart." Sabo looked at him stunned: "To the sea?" Naguri smiled and asked: "What?! An old man can't go to sea?" Sabo quickly answered: "No... I wouldn't say that..." Before he could continue, Haruno said: "Age limits don't exist when you follow your dreams! Right? Naburi?" the other four shouted with a quartet's synchronicity: "It's Naguri!!" he laughed back at them as Naguri continued: "That's right! They can say whatever they want! No matter what, I'm going to sea! I have already decided! Do you have a  problem with it?" Luffy chuckled: "None!" Sabo sighed and admiringly said: "That old man is incredible..." He looked back and saw Ace was leaving again: "Ace?" Ace then stopped and slowly declared: "A promise is a promise... I will help you and... Tomorrow, I will defeat you!" 

Haruno seriously asked: "What was that about?" Naguri smiled at the challenge. The next morning, their training and help regimen started. Just like that, they started to train to become pirates with Naguri coaching them while they helped him build his s.h.i.+p in return. Haruno helped, of course. He decided to train his body with them too because he discovered that when he trained his body like crazy, his BP stat got a point up! Fighting with Naguri, they upgraded their fighting ability as well. Like that, Ace, Sabo, Luffy, and Haruno grew up physically and mentally every day! The season quickly pa.s.sed as Spring arrived in the grey terminal

After another day spent training, Ace and Sabo were now fighting each other while Haruno was watching them. He wasn't moving much considering he had just worked out for twenty minutes, enough to overwhelm his 8-year-old body. Ace attacked Sabo who parried with his weapon. He then said: "Today, I will win!" Sabo resisted as he shouted back: "I won't lose!" From their right side, Luffy rushed toward them in ambush: "It's me who's going to win! Gomu-Gomu no... Pistol!" Luffy's arm stretched and missed his target.

Wait, no... His punch hit Naguri's face... Again.
