Caesar smiled wryly after hearing the loud chants, it reminded him of his soldiers back in Rahvin kingdom.

"Haha, are you embarra.s.sed? You better get used to it" Faust laughed wildly after spotting Caesar's wry smile.

"You misunderstand, I'm just feeling a bit nostalgic" Caesar replied quietly and walked over to his clothes he had thrown prior to the duels.

"I see, a strategist of your caliber surely has had people chant your name before" Faust spoke in a thoughtful tone.

Caesar just shook his head and didn't answer him, he slowly put on his b.u.t.toned-up s.h.i.+rt and blazer.

"Yawn" Caesar covered his mouth with his right hand and yawned loudly, he hadn't slept for a while, after all.

The fox-kin men that were circling around Caesar all spread out and went back to training, they all wanted to become stronger and a duel of that magnitude was a perfect form of motivation.

Caesar observed the men that were currently in a trance while training, the moon was still high in the sky, barely illuminating their surroundings and all of the fox-kin men with its beautiful moonlight.

"Hey sir strategist, let's go get a drink, my mouth has gone dry after that battle" Faust announced loudly and broke the silence.

Caesar turned around and faced Faust, he contemplated for a few seconds before begrudgingly nodding his head.

"I suppose we could do that" Caesar replied.

"Haha, great! Let's go to the black rose!" Faust suggested and excitedly walked towards the mansion in the middle of the stronghold. The soldiers didn't even notice when they left, as they were too absorbed into their personal training.

Caesar and Leo followed after him, they traced back their steps and walked back close to where the meeting room was. Faust lead them down a long hallway and approached a dark door, on top of the door was an elegant sign that had 'Black Rose' etched on to it.

"I'm back my darlllling!" Faust roared loudly and pushed open the doors, he quickly walked inside and sat at the counter of the bar.

Caesar, who walked in after Faust, took a few seconds to take in the beauty of the bar, it was decorated with a splendid violet, similar to Ahri's hair, it had five or so wooden tables and three booths attached to the right wall.

The floor was a gleaming wood, and the counter was an even darker violet, there were around 5 stools next to the counter.

Caesar walked toward the counter and sat to the right of Faust whereas Leo sat to the right of Caesar.

"Is this your wifes' bar?" Caesar couldn't help but ask curiously.

Faust nodded proudly, "indeed it is, my gorgeous wife should be here soon" Faust spoke with a wide smile, it was apparent he loved his wife dearly.

"Tsk"

Caesar clicked his tongue in displeasure and looked up at the ceiling, 'I truly hope this man does not have to lose everything' he thought to himself bitterly.

*creak*

A door behind the bar opened and a woman with long red hair, pleasant facial features, and a curvaceous figure entered.

"How was the meeting my darling?" she asked as she walked in the door.

"It went well! The empress is back and our son is finally going to battle and getting a chance to prove himself!" Faust carried an expression that screamed 'praise me'

"Haha, good job" She chuckled softly and walked behind the counter.

"Ah, let me introduce you two… this is my wife Vivian" Faust said while gesturing to his wife.

"And this is a genius strategist and fighter that the empress brought back, ah, I forgot his name" Faust scratched his head with an embarra.s.sed smile.

"I go by Mephisto, however, my friends call me Caesar" he introduced himself courteously and put his hand out toward Vivan.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Vivian," he said with a slight smile.

"Likewise, to gain the respect of my husband is to gain the respect of me," she said as she shook his hand enthusiastically.

Caesar nodded his head in response and took his hand back. Vivan turned around and took out a few bottles from below the counter.

"Since the three of you have come here, that means you want to get drunk, right?" she asked with a playful smile and grabbed three clear gla.s.ses.

"You know me so well sweetheart!" Faust said with his eyes glued on the far right bottle…

Vivan took the bottle that Faust was looking at and carefully poured it into all three of their gla.s.ses until they were all half full.

"Thank you" Caesar thanked her and twirled the gla.s.s of alcohol in his hands, he sniffed it carefully and took a small sip.

'Gin?' Caesar thought inwardly, it tasted similar to how Gin tasted in his past life except this alcohol tasted a bit more firey.

"Ah, I can never get tired of this amazing flavor!" Faust commented from his left, while Leo to his right was the complete opposite.

"Sorry misses Vivan, can I get a softer drink?" Leo asked with a shy smile.

"Of course you can," Vivan responded with a wide grin and poured the rest of Leo's drink into Caesar's gla.s.s.

She took out another bottle and poured it into Leo's gla.s.s, presumably wine… Caesar smiled wryly and continued to take small sips of his now full gla.s.s of what tasted to be Gin.

"What is the name of this alcohol?" Caesar asked curiously.

"We call it flame nectar" Vivian calmly explained.

Caesar nodded his head in understanding and took another sip while Vivan leaned down on the counter and rested her chin on her palm.

"If I may ask, what did the empress promise you?" Vivan suddenly asked.

Caesar put his gla.s.s down and tilted his head, "what do you mean?"

"I mean, a genius strategist and a fighter that can gain the respect of my husband is surely expensive… I wonder what she is giving you in return for helping our clan, or perhaps, you're doing it for free?"

Caesar calmly examined the lady in front of him, his eyes showed no ripples as he looked at her.

Suddenly, his lips curled as he guzzled the rest of the fire nectar in his gla.s.s.

"She gave me… everything" Caesar said with a wide smile and Vivan's eyes opened wide in surprise.

*creak*

Sudden the bar door opened and a slightly short woman, with long violet hair, yellow eyes, cute face, foxy features, and a curvaceous figure entered. She was a complete Vixen!

This was, of course, Ahri.
