Let me just share to you guys. In the place where I live in we have some sort of a curfew (Since we are under an Enhanced Community Quarantine.) So every 8 in the evening every Barangays will sound their alarms indicating that no person should be outside by that time;but in our Barangay the alarm sounds is the same as the alarm sound use in the purge movie. So every time we hear it we laugh and make jokes like "should we grab a weapon or something?" Hahaha that's all.

It was a peaceful night and Terrence can't help but feel happy and contented in everything that he has. He has friends who he knows he can count on to, they may be all different in behavior and att.i.tude but they are friends he knows he can count on whatever the situation is. A family who supports him and accept his wife fully despite everything and his own beautiful family who taught him that richness in this world can't buy you happiness only them is enough to make a man like Terrence very contented and happy.

He can feel the cold wind against his skin as he peddle his way to his home a home where his family is waiting for him. When he parked his bicycle in front of the apartment building before entering he was excited to see his wife and give him the mini slices of cakes with different flavors which he bought for him. He was humming a song as he make his way to their apartments floor when a raging flow of Alpha pheromones stopped him. Terrence is a dominant Alpha which makes him extra sensitive to Pheromones, sensing it even in a distance. Terrence heart suddenly race, he immediately shake the thought away that the pheromones is weak and will not get inside their apartment. It maybe coming from the other unit. But the more he thinks positively the more he becomes nervous. Without thinking he immediately run towards their apartment unit and the nearer he gets the more he can sense a thick Alpha pheromones. He lost it when he gets in front of their unit and felt that all those pheromones are indeed coming inside their unit. His are already leaking even before he went inside. He unlocked the door with his key and followed the part of their house where the pheromones is concentrated the most. Terrence saw his wife holding on to the dining rooms chair for a support, Nicolas who is also in the same state but still trying his best to support Chester. An old man and woman in their 50's yelling at the girl to stop what she is doing, a young girl who is crying and a girl in her 20's releasing her pheromones.

At that moment Terrence was taken over by his rage and begun to released a ma.s.sive amount of his pheromones which brought everyone to their knees and made his wife immediately unconscious, good thing Nicolas was able to catch him even in his weak state.

Terrence walk over to the girl who was just releasing her pheromones suppressing his wife. He grabbed the girl by her s.h.i.+rts collar not minding if she's a woman. The girls vision is already blurring and her breathing becomes more shallow. Terrence is suffocating her with his Pheromones and everyone in the room we're already having a hard time breathing. It was like they are trapped inside an oven burning and suffocating at the same time.

"T-Terence th-that's enough..." Nicolas said struggling for words coughing Everytime. He tried to fight off Terrence pheromones because he told himself he can't let himself pa.s.s out. Terrence is already not himself and it will be dangerous to Chester if this goes on. But no matter what Nicolas say it's as if Terrence can't hear any of them. So with all the strength he has he shouted. "DO YOU WANT TO ENDANGER CHESTER IF YOU DO THEN GO AHEAD AND CONTINUE WITH WHAT YOU ARE DOING!"

Terrence suddenly brought back to his senses and immediately stop his Pheromones. He quickly run towards Chester who is now lying unconscious on the floor. He carried Chester and went out without saying a word to them. Everyone was left catching their breath and speechless with what happened.

"W-what was that...." Nadia asked.

"Shut up!" Natalie shout at her niece.

"He gave us place to stay and you just released your pheromones in front of a pregnant Omega!" Natalie added.

Reynold looked at Nicolas. "We are sorry about the trouble I think we better go. We are very sorry." Really.

"Chester would be very sad if he learns that you leave. I know what happened is some what rude but he is not the kind to just turn his back to those who are in need. In the short time I come to know him that is one of the few things I noticed about him." Nicolas who is still sitting on the floor because of his trembling legs said trying to persuade them into staying.

" We can't really after what happened we don't have any face left to show him. Please extend our thanks for his hospitality towards us." Natalia said.

"What are you saying, I don't want to sleep in the street!" Nadia protests.

"Then you shouldn't have released your pheromones in the first place." Natalie retort back.

"We will go. Thank you again." Natalie looked at the others and commanded them to get their stuff.

Terrence was driving in a hurry trying to be cautious at the same time, he wanted to get to the hospital as fast as he can but he can't risk getting themselves into an accident specially when Chester is with him.

He can't get a grasp on the whole picture of what happened back there, who those people are and what are they doing inside their house. He can't answer how did they get inside the house and why a girl releasing her pheromones towards his wife and Nicolas. "d.a.m.n it I forgot about Nick, I was in a hurry I forgot about him." Terrence immediately got his phone and dial Nick's number put it on a speaker mode. It took a few rings before someone answered.

(h.e.l.lo? Terrence where are you? Is Chester ok?) Terrence can hear the worry in Nicolas voice.

"We still haven't reached the hospital yet but we are near. How about you are you ok? I panicked and forgot about you." Terrence asked.

(Don't worry I'm fine. Go get your wife to the hospital he needs you more.)

"Yeah thank you for protecting my wife while I was away." Terrence said before dropping the call.

A nurse quickly went over them as soon as his car stop at the entrance of the hospital's emergency room.

"What happened to him?" The nurse asked while helping him in placing his wife to the wheelchair.

"He pa.s.sed out due to excessive exposure to Alpha's Pheromones." Terrence quickly said pus.h.i.+ng his wife to the emergency room. The nurse lead them to in one of the beds inside.

"An Omega? How far long is he?" The nurse asked.

"Yes eight months." Terrence answered, he helped the nurses in moving Chester on the bed.

"Where have you found the victim?" The nurse asked.

"What?" Terrence asked he couldn't understand what the nurse is asking.

"Don't worry you don't need to answer that." The Doctor said. "Go check his vital signs and get me the sonogram here we will check how's the baby is doing." The Doctor said looking at the nurse. The nurse quickly did as she was told.

"We will just going to get your contact details and some information regarding the incident and then you are free to go. We will just going to contact the family or relatives of the patient. Things like this usually happens specially to Omegas like him. Though only few Alphas steps up to help another Omega when they are being attack by others. We will tell him about you once he wakes up." The Doctor said tapping his left shoulder.

"Doctor what are you saying. I'm his family." Terrence said trying to clear up the misunderstanding. They thought he was just trying to help a poor Omega and brought him to a hospital.

"Oh I'm so sorry it's quite rare for an Omega to have their family to take them to a hospital themselves because of embarra.s.sment. So are you his brother?"

"Husband, I'm his husband." The Doctor looked at him like he could not believe what he was saying.

"Doctor his vitals are good, it appears that the patient just pa.s.sed out due to sudden exposure to a strong wave of an Alpha pheromones. We also brought the sonogram."

"Yes I'll go over there in a minute."

The Doctor looked at him. "I'm sorry if I somehow offended you. Come let's check if the baby is fine" Terrence followed the Doctor who went in one of the beds in the emergency room that is being covered by a curtain. He looked at his sleeping wife, his blood instantly boils when he remembers what happened in their house.

"It looks like the baby is fine. Almost all the Omega's sent and admitted here are single parents, **** victims or battered by their own partners. Most of the time they admit themselves alone here for no one wants to go with them so I was a.s.suming the same with him. I was surprised to learn that he is with his partner." The Doctor said while cleaning up the gel which she spread on top of Chester's stomach.

"He's not my partner. He is my wife, he is married to me. He is bearing my name." Terrence clearly state.

"Then he is indeed one lucky Omega. Let me just fix his nasal cannula." The Doctor tuck in the tube of Chester's nasal cannula behind his ear when she noticed the mark on his nape. "Indeed a one lucky Omega." She whispered.

"Not him but me. I'm the one who's lucky to find him and lucky enough that an amazing person like him loves me and gave me a complete family not all Alphas like me are lucky enough to live a life that I currently have right now." Terrence looked at his wife's face lovingly. "So how's my wife and my baby?"

"They are fine he just needs to rest then tomorrow he can already checked out of the hospital and go home. I'll just prescribe him something to wear off the dizziness after effects of the sudden exposure to Pheromones. I'll go a head Mr.?"

"Harris, Terrence Harris." Terrence said.

The Doctor was slightly taken aback she knows the name full well the youngest of the Harris who is know making a name for himself after winning cases after case, but thought that she must be mistaken that how can a powerful man like him ended up marrying an Omega. "He must have just have the same name as that man. Of course there is no way. But that man really is good looking, what a lucky Omega." The Doctor laugh to herself.

"Hey did you know that there's a very handsome man in the emergency room last night?" one of the nurses share.

"Really? Where?" The intern nurse asked

"His wife got admitted but since it's not something major he was placed in the observation unit. He is probably still there. Looking after his wife." The nurse further added.

"I bet the wife is really pretty if you say that the husband is handsome." The intern Doctor said

"Yeah the wife really is pretty but..." The nurse agreed

"But?" the intern nurse asked

"But he is an Omega." The nurse answered

"What?!" both the intern nurse and Doctor said simultaneously.

"Ssshhh lower down your voice. Yes an Omega who is married." The nurse gesture the two to quiet down.

"That's impossible. No matter how pretty an Omega is no man in his right mind would still marry an Omega." the inter doctor said.

"But he is." It was the Doctor who verified. "That Alpha is married to that Omega he filled out the form right? He really is indeed the husband and those two are really married to each other."

"Maybe the Omega is rich." the intern Doctor said.

"Yeah maybe. I mean no Alpha in their right mind would marry an Omega if it weren't for something else." the nurse concluded

"But how can an Omega be rich? They are Omega's for crying out loud. They are the lowest of all." The intern Doctor said.

"Perhaps the parents are Alphas who are rich. Things like that happens in real life too." The nurse said.

"Who knows. We don't know their story, so quit gossiping other people's lives and get back to work." The Doctor said not liking what the three are insinuating. The Doctor pities Omegas, it's not like they chose to be born that way but people failed to acknowledge that and put all the blame and disgust to the likes of them. She suddenly remembered her son who is most likely the same age as Chester if only he hadn't died. If only people around her son didn't discriminate him for being an Omega then he would have been alive by now.

"Is my daughter in law here? We heard that he was rushed here last night."

"M-Mr.....Mr. H...Harris." The woman in the reception area stuttered upon seeing Terrence father's face. The Doctor looked at the man upon hearing one of the staff said the word Harris.

"Yeah I'm Roberto Harris and this is my wife Tiana Harris."

"How can we help you?" The Doctor went to them.

"Ow I was informed that my daughter in law is rushed here. He was not answering his phone last night and my son was also not answering so we got worried and drop by their apartment this morning but we were informed that they rushed my daughter in law here." Tiana explained.

"What is your daughter in law's name?" The Doctor asked she is already having an idea on who might that person be but she's still pus.h.i.+ng at the back of her mind that what this powerful couple in front of her looking is not the pregnant Omega who was admitted last night.

"Chester Harris he was with his Husband Terrence Harris. Do you know where they are? Are they here? Is he and the baby ok?" Tiana asked one question after another. The Doctor felt like she lost strength on her knees after knowing all these. It was really overwhelming and surprising enough to know about the Omega married to an Alpha but it was more surprising to know that the Alpha was not an ordinary one. In two decades she works in the field never once she witnessed something as peculiar as this. An entire family of Alphas caring for an Omega.

"Y-yeah they are here. Please follow me." The Doctor composed herself and lead them in one of the observation unit and open to curtain. The Alpha is sleeping while sitting on his chair.

"Son, son wake up." Tiana immediately wakes up Terrence.

"How's Chester?" Tiana asked worriedly. "Chester was not answering his phone he never does that specially if it involves your sons. You too you are not answering your call so we really got very worried. We visited your place and was informed by Nick. I didn't know Nick is here, setting that aside what happened? How's Chester? How's my grandchild?"

"Kitten is fine Mom and so as my baby. He just need to rest a little. We can check out a little later after they do another round of check ups on him when he wakes up."

"The baby and the mother are both fine don't worry. Just call us when something happens." The Doctor said before leaving. *Who would have thought that The Harris family will take an Omega as part of their family, maybe the world is changing or maybe they could trigger the world to change its view to those poor Omegas. If not maybe it could be the start.* The Doctor thought smiling to herself. In those years she helped save people's lives she witnessed just how cruel the world to the likes of Chester so it was kind of refres.h.i.+ng to think that there are still people out there who share the same thought as she is. *If only Kian had met the same man as Terrence Harris then maybe he would have been happy too.*

"Thanks Doctor?" Tiana asked. Dr. Hugh, Katrina Hugh.

"Thank you so much Doctor Hugh."

Dr. Hugh was walking when one of the Doctors approach her. "So what's the deal with that patient? It seems that the Omega has some sort of connection to the Harris. d.a.m.n their filthy Pheromones really is something to even reach a family of that caliber." Dr. Hugh glared at the Doctor.

"That patient is a wife of the Harris's youngest son, meaning he is the daughter in law of that family. He is even marked by that Alpha. So if I were you I would keep my mouth shut than to risk my licence revoke by that family. They are not known as the best lawyers for nothing."

"So have you seen the places I told you?" Tiana asked her son who is busy holding Chester's hand and kissing it occasionally.

"Yeah but I think I'll go with the second one. The place is perfect, neighbors are not that rich most of them belongs to the middle cla.s.s. The place is near with essential places like Markets, Hospitals and Malls. There are some schools with good names that are near that place but we could think about that later. The kids are still too young I don't want to push them too soon to studying. I'm already eyeing a lot there. Perfect place to build a home for my family. I would like to build a home just enough for all of us. My Kitten is not used to a lavish life so he wants everything to be within his eye sight. I want to build a mini pool for the kids at the back yard and a garden where my Kitten can plant whatever he wants. Maybe a court for playing sports. it wouldn't be too bad right Mom? I want that house to be my gift for my Kitten on our 1st year anniversary but I also don't want to hurry the construction of the house. We are after all are the one who's going to live there so safety must come first." Terrence said without looking at his mother.

"Safety? Funny that after meeting Chester all I think about is my Kitten and Sons safety. Before I don't really regard safetyness as an essential thing — not even my own safetyness. But now all I can think about is what is best and safe for them. I even think about my own safetyness which I always disregard before. Because I fear leaving my wife and my kids all by themselves."

"All father are like that to their wife and children. That's why I was relieved when you finally decided to quit what you were doing after you got your license as a lawyer. Everytime you go out your mother cry in fear that you will never to comeback again." Terrence was looking at his father, it was the first time he heard his father talked about his feelings about his old job which he quited years ago. He didn't know that he made them worry that much. They may have been a supportive kind of parents but now he knows just how much he put his parents through just because he wanted so much to help other people with his own sense of Justice. If it weren't for his mother's begging and for his promise of quiting that Job then he might have still be doing it.

"Come on you two don't talked about the past. Your son quit a long time ago. So let it stay that way." Tiana said trying to change the subject.

"So going back to the lots — The lots there are big it may not be as big as ours but it is still pretty big. Will you be settling with just 3 kids?" Tiana was a little bit curious though she is very fond of having many grandchildren she doesn't want to push both of her boys in giving her that. They are after all both adults now that can make their own decisions.

"No of course not. But I don't think that Chester should do it yearly it would be very bad for his health. I might take precautions in doing it after he gave birth. Contraceptives is a no no. I won't let him take those things."

"So you'll settle with the natural method is that it?"

"Mom don't you realize it's awkward tackling these things with you? And I think you should be going. Chester will just feel upset when he finds out that he made the two of you worried about him."

"That's only natural he is also our son!" Terrence gave them a 'If you really care about him then Don't make him worry.'

"Ok, Ok I get it we will go. Come on dear let's go. Our son is being harsh and mean to us. I didn't know I raised such a mean son." Terrence mother pretend like she was crying.

"Come on Mom I'll see you and Dad out. Stop sulking already. I promise to bring Chester on the weekend. We will stay there on the weekends. Does it sound good to you?" His mother's mood suddenly light up as if all those crying didn't happen.

"You said that. No backing down, bring my daughter in law in the house, do we understand each other?" Terrence just blow a heavy breath. His mother has her own ways of ruining his plans over the weekends. He now gets why his brother complains too much about their mother s.n.a.t.c.hing his brother's wife away, cause now he is already experiencing the same.

The Doctor came to check on Chester again in order to make sure that the Omega is in good state. "You're awake, good let me just call your husband he just went out for a little bit but he will be back soon."

"M-my baby? Is m-my baby ok?" Chester struggle to asked his vision are still blurry from the dizziness.

"Don't worry the baby is fine. So you should be resting." The Doctor was about to go but stop to ask him one question. "I just want to ask you one question, you don't really need to answer if you don't want to."

"I, I won't mind. W-, what's your question Doctor?" Chester asked he is also curious on what kind of question will the Doctor going to ask.

"Are you happy to be with that Alpha? Not all Omega are married to their partners and most of the time their partners tend to abuse them."

Chester smiled at the question. "Yes I am, very... He may not be perfect but for me he is the best thing that has ever happened to my life. He loves me with all of his heart and never fails in making me feel it every single time. He never hurt me in anyway instead he always shows how much he loves me. His family treats me like their own, like I'm their own blood. Me being an Omega has never been an issue to them. I feel like I'm back to being normal again like the time when my sub gender has still yet been revealed. I am very lucky am I not?"

"Yes you are indeed very lucky but your husband told me last night that he is the one who is lucky. You are fine and your vitals are good so you can check out now." The Doctor said before leaving.

"What a weird Doctor but good weird." Chester mumble. Chester was startled by the sudden hug he received, he didn't even noticed his husband's presence.

"You're awake Kitten, I'm so sorry..... I didn't mean to. I was so angry that I lost it.... If it wasn't for Nick who stopped me, who knows what would have Happened to you and our baby." Chester caress his Husband's back and Pat his head a little.

"Don't worry nothing bad Happened. I should be thanking you instead. You stepped up for me. It's just that it somehow affected me too and it's not your fault so don't beat yourself up for it. Ok?" Chester pulled back from the hug and looked at his husband straight to his eyes.

"Say you won't blame yourself for it. Promise me, what I hate the most is seeing my husband blaming himself for something he didn't mean to. So promise me you will stop blaming yourself for that incident."

"Ok I promise. Just promise me in return that you will be very careful don't let others harm you. Cause if not I can't promise you that I won't be returning the favor ten folds." Chester can see Terrence expression darkening. Clearly his Husband is not bluffing with what he just said.

"Ok I promise." Chester raised his right hand as he promised his Husband.

"If you break your promise and got yourself hurt by others expect me to be all out asking payment for what they owe me."

"Yeah, yeah stop with the dark thoughts. No one will hurt me. It was just an accident."

"Who are those people anyways? Why are they inside our house?" Terrence ask.

"It was my father. He went to see me and ask me for help. He may have done bad things in the past but still I can't let them wonder on their own specially when I just learned that I have a younger sister. I don't have a heart to see her suffer the way I did before, so I offered them shelter. I just didn't expect that his partner's niece would lash out on us with her pheromones." Chester explained.

"You will help the man who made your life h.e.l.l?!" Terrence shout. Chester was thankful enough that they are being covered by the curtain.

"Yeah. You know there is this saying that a person I know once taught me. 'If they thrown a stone at you then you should throw a bread at them.' I don't want to be the kind of person who can't even lift a finger to help someone who is in need cause I was once that someone who begs for someone to come and save me." Chester reach for his Husband's face and slightly caress it.

"I was save by the owner when no one wants to accept me for a job, I was save by my friends from insanity of thinking of a way how to provide for our sons, I was save by auntie from being homeless and I was save by you. My past may have been terrible but it serve as my path on how I have met all of you, specially you. I wouldn't have known how much you love me despite everything from my past. It may have been terrible and it may still hunt me even in the future but I know there will be nothing to be afraid of as long as you are with me. There are still a lot to be thankful for." Chester looked away trying not to cry.

"My father beg me for forgiveness, he kneeled down and asked me, He called me son for the first time. I don't know what to feel. I hated him but can't fully hate him. He is still my father after all. I want to know why, I want to know if he ever loves me and I want to know if he truly means it when he asked me for his forgiveness." Terrence hug his wife comforting him.

"If you want to help them then I will support you but if he or any people he is with be it your sister or that b.i.t.c.h who just released her pheromones on you lay their filthy hands on you then I'm sorry but I won't be holding back in destroying them." Terrence statement is firm and Chester fully knows that his Husband is a man of his words which means that everything he just said can not be taken lightly.

"I will keep you safe... No one will going to harm you." Terrence kissed the top of his head.

"So promise me that you will going to be safe always. Cause I might kill someone if somebody brought you harm." Chester laugh.

"You can not do that. You'll loose your license. You are a protector of life and justice. You can't just take away the life of someone."

"Believe me Kitten. I can. Without loosing my licence I can. And I'll kill that person with my own hands. So be safe if you don't want your husband to put justice in his own hands." Chester was flabbergasted but he is certain that Terrence is not in the slightest joking about what he just said. Maybe there are still things that he doesn't know about his Husband but one thing he is sure that Terrence will always be there to protect them.
