The Destined Encounter 6 Chapter 6: The Work

"Surely he is, I mean if I also have someone as cute and loving as Liam I would also want to go home everyday to where my wife if." responded by the butler who on is wiping the window gla.s.s.

"Yeah you're right Liam really is a cute kid, I mean he doesn't want to be called master or Sir he just want to be called just Liam; And that pout and puppy dog eyes as he beg us to call him just Liam who couldn't say no?!" said the maid who is now almost at the turning corner of the lobby she is sweeping.

"It's only been five months since Sir Lance brought Lance here at this mansion but in that short time he managed to change this house hold hahaha. Who would have thought that boy could make everyone here close to each other. I mean I've been working here for 3 years and I never truly know anyone here till Liam came here." said the butler who is draining the water he used to washed the cloth for wiping the window.

"Five months right! Oh I just remembered it is almost Sir Lance birthday right?" asked the maid

"Yeah just a little over this month its his birthday. why did you asked?"

"I wonder where it will be held?"

"Lance birthday is near? Can I know more details of it Lina please" Full of curiosity Liam run towards Lina as he held the two hands of the maid while he begs for the details of what he just over heard.

"Seb, Seb I need your help." Liam quickly head towards Sebastian the moment he saw it.

'He must have been looking for me' Sebastian told to himself.

"A job?!" said in shocked

" You see Lance birthday is jus a little over this month and I want to get him something which I worked hard for. I don't have money so I want to work to at least earn a little." Liam carefully explained hoping Sebastian would help him.

Without hesitation Sebastian answered "No, sorry I can't help you with that."

"I really needed a job Seb, just for this month I promised I'll quit after that just, just help me. I know no one that who can help me but you." Liam pleaded.

Defeated by Liam's pleads Sebastian gave in and agreed to find him a Job that will be suitable for him.

"It was kind of surprising for you to ask me such a favor uncle, but since it was you then that's fine with me" said the man in his early 30's.

"So when will he going to start working here?" the man asked.

"I'll bring him here tomorrow. Please take good care of him." Sebastian said as he stands up to bid his goodbye to his nephew.

"Don't worry uncle I will. You do know I have a soft spot for an Omega right? or you do not trust your beloved nephew? The man jokingly retorted to his uncle.

The statement of the man earned a laugh from his uncle "Of course I know that and by that way just to remind you, you are my only nephew. I pretty much don't have a choice now do I?"

"No you don't, don't worry too much uncle I'll take good care of him while he works under my management. So see you tomorrow then?"

"Yeah, see you." Sebastian said as he bid his goodbye to his nephew.

The next morning Liam woke up early to prepare everything the breakfast, lunch box and clothes that Lance will wear. Lance lets him do everything that he would want to do as long as it will make him happy and given that it is not straining.

"Have a great day Lance, take care and don't skip lunch!" said as he walk Lance to his car.

"Yeah, yeah I will." Lance said chuckling.

"Hey! why are you laughing at me is there something funny with what I just said?" Liam said pouting for the mere fact that Lance is making fun of him.

"No, no I just wondering how lucky I am to not just get a mother of my child, wife but also a mother hahahaha" said no longer can contain the laugh he was holding back. "I mean you nag and worry like my mother but in a gentle way hahaha." added as he continues to laugh.

"What did you just said? I am you wife?" Liam lost to his thought suddenly spoken what he was thinking that made the later one stop from laughing.

"What? did you just said something?" Lance said pretending not to here what Liam said.

"No, no I was just asking if you just referred me as your mother?" Liam lied, not wanting the little expectation to shutter.

"I'm running late I have to go. See you later bye" Lance said as he walk fast towards his car.

Lost to his thoughts Lance pulled over to the side of the road and started hitting the steering wheel of his car with frustration. "Why the heck did I just blurted that out d.a.m.n! What is wrong with me?!" continues to throw punches to the poor steering wheel. "No you are just getting carried away with all those pluffy atmosphere and googly eyes and and those pouting lips and and No! stop thinking about it. I have to stay away. Yeah right. I think I need to get laid" Lance collected his thought as he starts to drive his way to his office..

"Hi my name is Pierce and I am the owner of this Coffee pastries restaurant that you are about to work in." Said the owner

"He-h.e.l.lo it is nice to meet you, I I I-I'll be in your care" Liam said shyly as he bow to show thanks.

"Nah that's ok, no need to be formal here. I like it better if we just treat each other here like a family. Come I'll introduce you to everyone." Said Pierce as he begun to lead the way. One by one he introduce Liam to his employees. After the introduction they went back to the owner's office.

"I just noticed that the employees here are consist of only Omegas and Betas." full of curiosity Liam ask the owner forwardly.

"Oh that my wife he really loves to help others specially Omegas. So I figured why not build a business and hired Omegas in that way we can help some of them to find a decent Job." Said the owner looking distantly with a sad smile on his face.

"I bet you have a very wonderful wife Sir." Praise Liam.

The owner looked at him and Pat his head while saying "Yeah he is the most amazing and beautiful wife a man like me could ever ask. Its getting late I think you should be on your way. So I'll see you tomorrow?"

"How was it?" Sebastian asked as he drives

"I'm quite excited to work the people there are all good to me specially the owner I bet his wife is very nice."

Liam's statement earned a laugh from Sebastian " Yeah

"Oh he established that restaurant to help Omegas find a decent job. He is a good child, you can trust him." Sebastian said as he continues to drive their way back home without averting his eyes off the road.

" He did it all for his wife. You see Liam Pierce's wife is an Omega and his wife loves to help others who are in needs specially Omegas like him. Helping is like his second skin. But sadly helping others got himself in danger."

"Why? what happened?" Liam asked curiously waiting for the next words that will come out from Sebastian.

"Keith, he helped an Omega who was being molested by Alphas but things went to South and he got himself stab by those b.a.s.t.a.r.ds. The doctors manage to save his life but not their child. He lost too much blood and the blow on his head caused too much damage. He has been sleeping for two years now. At first my nephew wanted to kill himself for what happened to his child and wife. We just managed to convinced him to keep on living for the day that his wife will regain consciousness. He's still waiting he built that restaurant for his wife's sake." Sebastian spoke with sadness in his voice. He can still vividly remember how his nephew tried to kill himself multiple times after learning that the chance for his wife to regain consciousness in close to nothing. All the family members felt sympathy towards his nephew but there's really nothing that they can do but to give their support and convinced him that he still needs to live for his wife. They know how much Pierce loves his wife and they know that keeping him alive with the use of machines is a selfish act but they can no longer afford to loose another family member.

"That's just so sad, but I envy the owner's wife. I can feel how much he loves him." Liam said thinking will Lance be able to love him the way the owner loves his wife? or maybe Lance loving him is just a wishful thinking. One thing that Liam knows is that Lance already occupies a big s.p.a.ce in his heart.
