The Destined Encounter 62 Chapter 62: What Were Los

Sorry if the last chapter was a bit too much but it needs to be done huhuhu. Even I was feeling like my heart just broke when I was writing it but it needs to be done hehehe. Anyways since I made you guys sad I decided to release this chapter. It is not as long as the other chapters. I usually write my updates 4,500-5,500 words each but this one is only 3,000. Anyways here is another update for you guys.

It's been 2 months when they found Liam's body. Lance could not believe it at first but the body is wearing the same necklace that Lance has given his wife. An autopsy was done and they confirmed that the corpse was a pregnant Omega. Lance could not accept it. Everyday makes living for him difficult without Liam by his side, it's like he's alive but dead inside. He could not forgive himself and he could not forgive his mother. He placed all the blame on her and never went back to see her. Lance tried to track those Robbers who took his wife away from him but they found out that two of them were killed by the third person and that person was taken down by a hit man who probably owes some grudges against someone. Lance felt useless and lifeless.

"Can I join you?" Lance looked at the person who just asked him.

"Come sit." Lance tap on the high chair next to him and asked the bar tender to give them a bottle of Scotch.

"Are you also here to drink your sorrows away? You are probably the only person who can understand me now." Lance finished his gla.s.s then poured himself another one.

"Is this your way of coping up?" Teakyun asked drinking the liquor from his gla.s.s.

"Yeah somehow it makes me forget the pain of losing him." Lance smiled bitterly. Teakyun looked at Lance and saw himself after Theo left. Teakyun knows just hard it was.

"Yeah it does just only for the mean time. In the morning after you wake up with the pounding in your head the pain in your heart will come paralyzing your whole being. It's hard I know but trust me ruining yourself is not the answer to the people like us who has been left behind."

"Tea, how did you cope up... how did you handle?"

"I didn't... Till now I'm still hurting I just chose to live cause that's what he wants. He said make my life useful, he said I need to live till I'm old. Funny how do you think will I be able to manage living that long without him? It feels like the time froze just when I want it to run fast so I could finally go to where he is."

"Teakyun I feel like I'm about to loose my mind thinking. I don't know what to do. I missed him, I want to see him and I want to hug and touch him but I no longer can." Lance rested his face to his arms that are cross on the bar's long table.

"There's no point in Mourning for it can no longer bring back the dead. Trust me Lance I have been through that, it didn't brought Theo back. No matter how much I wish it he will never going to Comeback. That's why I decided to live in a way that I could help to others to people like my wife against those people like me." Lance looked at him.

"I'm still mourning over my wife's death and here you are still thinking about that?" Lance drink again and this time straight from the bottle.

"I'm just saying that we are both the same. I know you wanted to end your life trust me I do too but what's keeping me is the fact that Theo wouldn't be happy if I do that to myself and the reason why you are not doing that also is because Liam wouldn't want you to end your life. That's the last thing your wife would have wanted you to do." Teakyun said Lance froze he just looked at Teakyun.

He have been wanting to but his promise to Liam before is what's keeping him from taking his own life. "It sucks that they want us to carry on while they left us on our own to go to a place where we can't follow them." Teakyun added.

"I love him and I always wants to be with him. I thought I had my chance when he accepted me again but why does this thing has to happen?" Lance cried he buried his face to his arms that are cross on the bar long table.

"I don't know maybe that's just how it goes but drowning yourself with grievance won't bring him back. We need to carry on with life for them. Don't waste your life, we can at least make it useful. Lance you know how to make it happen."

Lance spent two weeks thinking of what Teakyun told him when they met in the bar. He looked at the watch that Liam gave him. "Will you be happy if I do it? You seem excited when I told you our plans back then. Terrence no longer wants to do it but I can still do it, Teakyun also wants to help. Love it's been 3 months since the last time I spoke with you but I still can't accept it." Lance looked up hoping it would help him control the tears that's threatening to fall. He blows a loud breath before reaching out his phone from the bed side table. "h.e.l.lo, about your offer... Let's do it. I'll take care the legalization of it. You take care the hiring of people. Terrence would no longer be joining us so as much as possible we need people with the same level as competence, skills and knowledge to that Field. Yes ok, I'll meet you the next day to formalize things. Yeah bye."

Lance looked at the house where he grew up with, he hasn't visited it for months after the incident but today he decided to step on the house he once cursed to never visit again. He knew Liam wouldn't want him to held on to his grudges and he knows that what happened was n.o.body's fault.

"L-Lance son?!" Elizabeth went straight to hug her son who she didn't see for months.

"I'm sorry I know you have every rights to get angry at me but I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry for everything." Lance hug his mother. His anger made him blame his mother who is innocent to what happened. He hurt her by solely blaming it all to her when in the first place it was also partly his fault why did those things happened. "Don't cry now Mom. I'm sorry for putting all the blame to you. I'm sorry if I had been selfish and thought only about myself."

Elizabeth pulled out from his son's hug and shake her head as if protesting to his son's admission. "No it was my fault. If only I had listen to your father and took more of our bodyguards with us just to be safe maybe just maybe none of these would have happened but I insisted that the place is not far and safe so it won't hurt to simply just go there with me and him alone just with the maids and two guards with us. I thought it would be enough."

"No, don't blame yourself Mom. Liam won't be happy if he see us like this." Elizabeth bury her face to her son's embrace and slightly nod. That time the broken bond of the mother and son finally reconnect but the scar left by Liam's death still left a huge mark in the hearts of their family that will never be erased.

Another 3 months have pa.s.sed and slowly the plan that Lance had finally happened they where able to established the firm that Terrence first thought and planned. Lance felt sad over the fact that his friend lost faith to the Omegas considering he's the one who's so keen in to saving them.

"What were you thinking?" Lance turned around only to see Teakyun standing behind him as he stand looking at the building of their small firm that will give hopes to Omega's that has fallen victim by the unjust norm of the society.

"I was thinking that it would be better if Terrence is with us through all these." Teakyun stand beside him.

"He will just give him some time. He's still hurt by what happened." Lance looked at him with full of surprised.

"How did you know?" Lance asked, the man only smirk.

"You are not the only one who has connections. Your friend sudden change of behavior made me curious on what might be the cause."

"Terrence doesn't want to tell others and I respect that. I know he's still waiting even if he doesn't say it, that's why he doesn't want others to know cause he doesn't want others to think bad about his wife." Lance explained.

"He really is something. If that would be me I wouldn't wait."

"Yeah you beat Theo because of the past that has nothing to do with your present relations.h.i.+p with him. That's so likely you." Lance commented sarcastically.

"Yeah the reason why he's no longer with me and not matter what I do he will never be with me. At least with this I may somehow redeem myself from all the wrong things I did to him.

"That's a good decision." Lance Pat Teakyun's shoulder before he bid goodbye to go back to his office.

"Maybe this can make you happy." Teakyun smiled bitterly.

Liam was sobbing the whole time it has been 7 months since he was held captive in the place he thought he will never going to see again. All he could think about is his dead baby. He can't still get over the fact that he gave birth to a dead baby about 5 months ago.

Water came gus.h.i.+ng out down to his tie as the in between contraction's interval became less and less. He can feel the pain intensify so he tried to scream for help, he desperately plea for people outside the door to help him it didn't help Liam to stay calm when he noticed a trail of blood came down to his thigh. He winced in pain Everytime he felt his womb contracting telling him that his body is now ready to send the baby out in to this world. Bullets of cold sweats are already forming to his forehead, his breathing becomes more shallow as every minute pa.s.sing by. He tried to scream for help once again but everything he does is to no avail. He tried to move his hand that are chained together to the bed pole but all the noises he makes are useless. The white cloth of the bed sheet is now turning red because of all the blood that is coming out from him. Liam doesn't want this so even when he's already feeling weak he tried to kick the bedside table so it could turn over and fall hoping the loud noise could grab the people's attention outside but still no one came till everything became blurry and he finally lost consciousness.

When Liam woke up he immidiately placed his two hands to his flat belly. He lifted his gown and saw the bandage wrapped around his waist a tear fell from his eyes and his gaze instantly landed to the door of the room he scream and scream in hopes someone will hear it but no one came. It was already evening when someone entered his room. He got up and asked the man he thought he will never going to see again. "Father, my baby. Where is my baby? Is he ok? I want to see him, can I see him?"

"He's gone, your son is gone." Mr. Sy said answering Liam's question.

"No, that's not right. The doctor said my baby is fine and healthy that I won't have any problem delivering him to this world." Liam said he's trying to hold back his tears hoping that his father was just kidding although he knows that his father never joke about anything.

"He was dead when you gave birth to him." His father reached something from his pocket and throw it to him. A bunch of photos scattered on the bed. He looked each on of them and see the photo of a baby who is still covered in blood but was unconscious. Another are photos where the child was in the morgue. Liam covered his lips and read the piece of paper that has something written on the top of it. "Death certificate." He read, he also read a piece of paper indicating the time of his child's death and the reason for his death. Liam blamed himself for his baby's death.

7 months have pa.s.sed and the only thing that was keeping him sane is his eagerness to come back to his Husband. He tried so hard to hold on to every bit of sanity he has left in him.

"Son eat." Liam who is s.p.a.cing out looked at the old woman the only person who has been kind to him ever since he was a child. The old woman wipe his tears away. "You are crying again.... Crying won't do you good. You need to eat Liam." Says Merdie.

"Auntie Merdie when will they going to let me home. I miss my husband, I want to tell him what happened I want to be with him so I could have someone to share the pain I'm feeling because of the lost of our second child." Liam buried his face to his arms that are crossed to his knees.

"Why is it so hard for me to have a complete family. Don't I really deserve it? Why do they have to take me back to this place? They don't even want me here. I want to go back to Lance. There he loves me and needs me."

"Liam son, if only I could answer your questions. If only I could help you...."

"Help me get away from this place. Auntie help me, I want to see my son even if it's his ashes. I want to see him. They won't even let me see my son, I want to see him. If Lance would know this he will take our son back to give him a proper burial. Even that my son deserves."

"Liam I'm sorry I can't help you. I can't help you escape from them. You know how your father is." Merdie tried to explain.

"M-my Husband is powerful and influential if he knows even my father won't be able to touch you. Help me I'm begging you. I just want to go home. I'm about to loose my sanity here." Liam beg but even Merdie couldn't helped him.

That night out of desperation Liam tried to escape. He pretend to have a seizure when one of the maids entered his room. Out of panick the maid uncupped him and the moment he was released he knock the maid out which had given him a chance to escape but since there were a lot of people surveilling the house he was caught instantly. He tried to escape several times after that which only resulted to him getting beat up. In the end his family decided to chain his hands and feet to make sure he won't leave the room. With his aching body, Liam tried to sleep his pain away only to be awaken by the feeling of nausea. He flinched when he realized the reason behind it. He felt someone's touching his thigh in a s.e.xual manner. He got up to protest but was immidiately pinned down by the man. When he tried to scream the man gag him with a handkerchief. Liam tried to fight him but the injuries he got from his beating is restraining him from doing so. The feeling of someone kissing his neck is sending pain to his body making him want to throw up. Tears fell from his eyes as he tried to scream more when he felt that the man was already lifting his s.h.i.+rt up exposing his upper body.

"Hhhmmm you really smell good. I have waited for months cause they say someone who just gave birth still can't do it for months although it was a Cesarean they said that you can't do it right away." The man said before burying his face to suck on to his nipple while his other hand went to caress the other one. Liam felt like there are thousands of needles p.r.i.c.king his body at the same time. He doesn't want any of that. The thought of not being able to face his Husband after that scares him. He felt more alarmed when the man already removed his pants and underwear and then remove his shorts after wards leaving him with only his underwear.

"You really are beautiful, even beautiful compare to your sister." The man whispered to his which sent s.h.i.+ver down to his spine. The man was about to removed his underwear when someone came barging to his room. Liam felt relieve for a moment only to regret it later.

"Monica, Let me explain." Said the man. He tried to put his pants on to cover his nakedness but Monica slapped him as soon as he tried to go near him. "What are you doing with this wh.o.r.e! d.a.m.n it Charles of all the people why the heck with this Wh.o.r.e!" Monica angrily point at Liam who is covering his body with a blanket.

"He seduce me first. He took his clothes of and seduce me telling me that it has been so long since he had some." Monica glared at Liam.

"He's lying. He's the one who got here first and touch me. How can I seduce another Alpha when I'm marked." Liam said in defense.

"Lair!" Monica charge at Liam pulling his hair as she slapped his simultaneously. Liam tried to fight back by grabbing his sister's hair. Monica pulled back and stormed out of the room only to Comeback carrying something with her.

"I don't think after this you would still be able to seduce anyone else." Monica was laughing creepily while saying that.

Liam was taken aback and didn't have time to defend himself when Monica made her move. Everything happened so fast that he can't understand how it happened. and the only thing he remembers is the stinging and burning sensations he felt from his face down to his upper body and the scream of the man Charles before he finally lost consciousness. He doesn't want to fall asleep but somehow his eyes feels heavy and strong feeling of pain he was feeling are starting to fade away.
