Dr. Hugh just finished attending to her patients who have been involved in a vehicular accident. It took her four hours to finally stabilize them. She can still feel the exhaustion from earlier but still choose to do her job like she always does. So she went to the reception area to see things there when the head nurse called her.

"Dr. Hugh, someone has been looking for you." Said the head nurse. She think of anyone who could be looking for her but could not think of any so she asked the head nurse.

"Who was it?"

"It was Mrs. Harris. She said she will be waiting for you at the lobby." Dr. Hugh blow a loud breath. She was not really expecting the woman to believe her but she feels relieve that she does so without delay she headed towards the lobby and looked for the woman that the head nurse has describe. It didn't took long for her to see the woman as she stands out from the rest.

"Mrs. Harris." Dr. Hugh greeted, Tiana looked at the person who just called her and didn't say anything. She just watch the woman who sit beside her.

"I'm sorry did I make you wait?" Dr. Hugh asked.

"If what you told me last week are all true then that much waiting is nothing compare to how long we have been looking for him." Tiana said getting straight to the point.

"Hhhhmmmm, under normal circ.u.mstances I wouldn't even dream on calling and informing you but we are getting really desperate." The Doctor explained, Tiana looked at her with so much curiosity but didn't say anything.

"He is getting desperate." She added. "Come follow me." Dr. Hugh said. Tiana followed the Doctor and the two of them end up in one of the rooms inside the hospital. They went inside the room and there she saw a child who is sleeping on the bed with an oxygen mask on his face and a blood bag hanging beside him. Tiana looked at the child and with questions in her mind she looked at the Doctor who is lovingly gazing the sleeping child.

"This child is Terrence though we usually called him Thirdy. They found the mother meters away from the crash site with back severely burnt from the explosion and the baby were just a few inches away from him. Luckily nothing happened to the child. When they took those two he was chanting the name Terrence before finally losing consciousness so the Doctor named the child as Terrence." Dr. Hugh explained.

"Then you mean to say this child is?"

"Yes he is your grandchild." Dr. Hugh finished her sentence.

"What happened to him why is he in this state? Where is Chester?" Tiana has so much questions to ask but doesn't know which one to ask first. She wanted to know why Chester never called if he's well and alive then why didn't he called them? Why didn't he comeback? What about Uno and Do's? Does his kids doesn't matter to him anymore?

"I told him to go home for a while he has been staying here for days looking after his child. He will be here later. I know you have lots of questions but don't blame it on him he is the innocent one here if you'll hate someone then hate me." Tiana looked at the Doctor with confusion on her face. She couldn't understand anything of what she's saying at all.

"Then what happened to him? What happened to my grandchild?" Tiana asked.

"Well Thirdy has a rare blood condition called Congenital Sideroblastic Anemia in his case it was inherited." Tiana covered her mouth of course she knows that disease, she knows very well of that condition. She never thought that it could be pa.s.s on to one of her grandchildren.

"From the looks of it, it seems you are aware of that certain blood disease?" Dr. Hugh stated.

"Hhhhmmmm, my cousin died because of that. Doctor said that patients who doesn't have severe Congenital Sideroblastic Anemia can live on if they follow strict treatments but each cases differs from one another. The severity of it can cause the life of a person and the only possible cure is for a stem cell transplant. My cousin was an only child born in a broken family. Finding a donor was hard and the closest possible donor is if is from a...."

"Yes you are right from a sibling. Thirdy was just two when he was diagnosed with it. Since then we tried finding one, Chester was not a match and waiting in line for a donor is like waiting for a rain to come in the middle of a draught. Recently his condition is getting worst and the treatments we are doing is slowly not being accepted by his body. Chester was getting desperate." Dr. Hugh sigh.

"What do you mean desperate?" Tiana asked.

"You see a month ago he tried to sleep with a stranger in hopes that he could get pregnant with another child. It didn't end up good he was hospitalized because of it. A body of an Omega who has been marked can not belong to another Alpha. Their body will Directly reject it and therefore will result to great pain an Omega has to endure aside from that old trauma seems to Comeback. I tried to explain to him that even if he ends up getting pregnant again chances are for the child to be a match to his child is very low. Also he needs to carry the child for 9 months and we need to wait for the child to be at least in his 14th months before the stem cell transplant can be done, which will take about more than 2 years. We are short in time so..."

"So that's the reason why you called me?" Tiana asked.

"Yes, I was hoping to have your son be tested if he's a match but since you mentioned that Thirdy has siblings then having them tested is much more efficient than having the father be tested."

"So if my grandchild is not sick then you don't even have any plans in calling us! Why?!" Tiana can't contain the anger that she's feeling right now. Everything she learned are just too much to take in.

"I need to speak with Chester, where is he?" Tiana said as she pace back and forth trying to calm down herself. When the door of the room suddenly open bringing the man she has been looking for, for 5 years. He gave a sweet smile before saying "Mother what are you doing here?"

Tiana was about to answer when the Doctor answered Chester's question. "I was just missing Thirdy." Dr. Hugh said, Chester's eyes gaze at her and then he softly asked still with a smile on his tired face. "Who is she Mom? Is she one of your friends?" Dr. Hugh just nod.

Then Chester extend his hand for a hand shake before saying. "h.e.l.lo auntie nice meeting you by the way I'm Kian and that child over there is my son. He's not fine as of now but he's a good kid." Tiana's mouth twitch as she tried to open it to say something but no words came out.

Aiden looked at the house that he has not seen in a year. The house that gave him shelter and love when he's at the lowest point of his life. He took a deep breath feeling that warmth of the place far from the coldness of the foreign land he has been for a whole year. He step inside and wonder his eyes around. "It's still the same as always." He said.

"Did you missed this place?" His brother George who just walked inside carrying with him Aiden's luggage says.

"Yes, this feels home. It's a good thing I took a full load of units to finish my masteral's degree in a year." His brother raised his eye brow after hearing it.

"It's not obvious that you are showing off now." Aiden laugh at what his brother just said.

"Just a little. Not everyone can do what I just did. I just literally did the almost impossible. Graduating in that short period of time with flying colors. If I'm not that awesome then what can you call me?"

"Well someone must have felt abandoned by his adorable baby Brother." George his brother's girlfriend teased that earned a glare from his brother.

"Whatever, even if my baby brother is all grown up and independent now he will still always going to need his big brother. Right Ai?" His brother said.

"Yes of course nothing could ever replace G." Aiden agreed.

"Aiden Son!" Chairman Miller shout in delight. He immidiately opened his arms for a hug that made Aiden run towards his father.

"Dad I missed you." Aiden said as he bury his face to the chest of the man who treated him as his own son.

"Dad miss you too. Have you eaten already?" Aiden shake his head no from his father's question.

"I want to eat with all of you." Chairman Miller broke the hug and invited them over the dinning table.

"So the wedding will be next week?" Aiden asked

"Yeah, everything is settled and you my little brother will be my best men." George said.

"Yeah that's why he have to move the date of the wedding when you said that you still need to wait for two months before you can move back here." His brother's girlfriend added.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to is just something urgent came up and I can't just leave it hanging there." Aiden explained.

"Don't worry we do understand. What matter is you are already here." His brother's girlfriend said.

"By the way where is Auntie Merdie?" Aiden asked. Months after Aiden's face has been fixed he asked for his father to look for his auntie to his old house to fulfill his promise to her but unfortunately the old maid is no longer working for her so his Father search for the maid and they found her living in an old apartment. Aiden personally went there and explained everything. At first the maid could not understand at the same time could not believe it but after hearing Aiden she eventually believe it. Aiden took the maid with him and since then she's been living with them.

"She went to her nephew a few days ago. Her nephew is about to get married that's why she went home for the time being. She'll be back soon maybe the next day." His father answered his question.

"So how was your stay there?" Aiden's father asked.

"It was ok the people there are nice but being discriminated are still something that can't be helped but once you got a grasp on how to manage and control things getting their respect is an easy job." Aiden said confidently, George look at his baby brother. He can see just how much he change, the kind of change that when you'll see how he was before you won't notice that he's still the same person now.

"You must have thought them a great deal of lesson." George said.

"Aiden you didn't, did you?" Chairman Miller asked with a hint of warning to his tone.

"Did what Dad?" Aiden feign innocence.

"Uncle I bet he did." His brother Girlfriend said.

"George how many times do I have to tell you it's father or Dad now. You are about to get married to my son so you should be calling me Dad now." Chairman Miller complain.

"I'm sorry Dad." George his brother's girlfriend apologize that made Aiden laugh.

"And you young man don't laugh I'm still not through with you. So you did have you?" Chairman Miller asked again.

"Ok, ok....I admit. A little. Come on Dad if I kept quiet then they won't stop to bully me." Aiden said in defense which made his brother nod in agreement.

"So you threatened those kids?" Chairman Miller asked.

"Ow come on Dad they are no longer kids! They even know how to make babies on their own so how can you say they are still kids? Besides what's the used of all those lessons you made me take just so I could protect myself. You should be proud that I can make a good use to it." Aiden reason to his father.

"That's right. You made a wise decision there my dear brother." George praise Aiden to what he just said.

"I made you take self defense lessons but this crazy brother of yours made you take a Mix martial arts combat, he even made you take a krav maga cla.s.s and the worst of all George made you take that shooting cla.s.s! Why are you even learning that? Are you going to kill someone?" Chairman Miller asked.

"Dad don't over re toact with that. It's better for him to be knowledge in things like this so he could protect himself." Chairman Miller glared at his eldest son.

"I get your point but it makes me uneasy that you know way too many of these things that maybe you'll let your guard down and will just charge on your own without proper plan which can jeopardize your self in the future. I don't want something unpleasant to happen to either of you three. You three are my precious children."

"Dad don't worry I always listen to brother's advice to take all possible things to consideration before I start a fight. You raised me to be that kind of person didn't you?"

"Just be careful though." Father remind.

"I will Dad don't worry." Aiden's expression soften.

"Who says that it's for you. What I mean is you should be careful or you might end up killing someone one of these days." His father joke that made them all laugh as they continue to have their lovely conversation on the table.

*************************

It was an ordinary day for Lance, work, meetings, more work and then home to the only place he can find solace. He lightly closed his eyes as the person in front continue discussing about his proposal for the upcoming anniversary of one of their business ventures. He wanted to come up an idea where they could make use this celebration in a more profitable manner that would benefit them most. While listening to the man in front his mind drifted to the only place that could make him feel at home. A place where all his memories lingers. Yes it has been five years but his heart and mind still hangs on with the little things that's reminding him of him and then the voice of the person in front brought him back to his reverie.

"Sir are you ok?" Asked the man who's discussing his proposal.

"Yeah I'm ok, carry on." He said. After the meeting Lance went back to his office only to be greeted by the last person who he wants to see.

Bea was sitting comfortably to his swivel chair. "Lance darling, you haven't called me. Haven't you missed me at all?"

"Bea I have no time for your whining. I have lots of work to do." Lance said.

"You have time to spare for your son but have no time to spare for me." Bea said sarcastically. She stand up and walk in front of Lance. She move closer to him till they were just inches apart then she hold out her hand to caress Lance face.

"We have been together for 4 years now so when do we plan in tying the knot?" Lance move away after hearing what Bea just said. He turned around and walked towards his chair.

"How many times should I tell you that there's no us Bea. The only relations.h.i.+p that we have are being a co-parent to our son Lander but anything more than that nothing. I told you that before." Lance said as he opened his MacBook and start reading some doc.u.ments.

Bea laugh mockingly. "Why? is it still because of that dead Omega?" Lance glared at her.

"Don't ever drag my wife to this!" Lance shouted at her.

Bea slammed her hands on Lance's desk. "He is dead Lance! Don't let the dead hinder your child from getting a complete family. Don't deny Lander a chance to have a complete family. You can't do this to both of us, me and my child can't live by the shadow of your dead wife. If you can't give my child what he deserves then it is better if we just walk away completely from your life." Bea threatened.

"You know I can't do that. I can give Lander all the love a father can give and you can give him the love of a mother. Wouldn't that be enough?" Lance asked. He is somehow feeling guilty over the fact that he can't give Bea what she's been asking of him and that is marriage.

"Then if you can't do that much I don't think Lander and I still need to get involved in your life. Think about it Lance, me and Lander or that Dead Omega of yours. If you choose us then you'll be a part of Lander's life but if you choose that dead Omega then say your goodbye to your son cause you'll never going to see him again." Bea didn't wait for Lance response and went straight out to his office.

Lance ma.s.sage his temple due to too much stress and pressure that the woman has been giving him. For years Bea has been trying to push to him the topic of marriage and for countless of times he refused her but the fact that she's already using the child in this matter is a different story. Lander is a sweet child and Lance loves him. At first he thought that it was just taking responsibility but when he saw the child there is this connection that he can't explain and as the years pa.s.ses by he can't help but be drawn to the child. He sometimes thinks that if Liam is alive their child would probably as old as Lander, but that will not be possible cause Liam is dead so as their child.

"Why can't I get what I want when it comes to you?" Lance leaned back and put his arm across his eyes as tears comes streaming down his face.

"d.a.m.n that Lance! d.a.m.n it, d.a.m.n it, d.a.m.n it!" Bea keeps on hitting her car's steering wheel as she let's out her frustration. It has been five years and yet here she is stock in the same place she's always been. Lance doesn't want to marry her, Lance doesn't want to have a relations.h.i.+p with her. She thought that having a child will mean that she can make Lance her but nothing has ever change. The only time and affection he can give is towards his son Lander. Lance has never been any less of a father to Lander and that p.i.s.ses her off. The only reason she put up with that child is to get Lance but what happens is that, Lander has taken all of Lance attention. So with all the frustrations pent up with her she drove to the house that Lance built for them. Yes She and Lander are both living in a different house. Lance doesn't want them to live in the same place as he is so he had them built a house. He gave them everything that Bea asked, even when it was already too much Lance didn't question her but the only thing that Lance could not give her is marriage. She was really happy when she learned what happened to Liam but even after all that Lance is still trap with that Omega and Bea was not happy about that.

When she arrived she saw Lander playing with his toys car along with the maids and the mere sight of the child is frustrating her even more so she walk to where Lander is. The child looked at her mother with much fear in his eyes before saying. "Mommy."

Bea grab Lander harshly by his arm that Lander starts crying. The maids tried to make the woman stop with what she was doing.

"Ma'am please stop." Said one of the maids while the other one tried to support the child.

"Don't try to stop me or I'll make sure that you won't have any job to return to." Bea threatened, she grab the child as if she's just grabbing a stuff toy till they get inside the Mansion. Lander on the other hand just keeps on crying while he calls his mommy repeatedly.

"Stop crying, it's your fault!" Bea angrily said as she starts. .h.i.tting the child to his body using her hand. "I wouldn't even going to put up with you if it weren't for your father but it seems you don't even have much use to me!"

"I'm sorry mommy, I'm sorry!" Lander keeps on crying and crying as he repeatedly says his sorry for the mistake that he didn't even know or understand.

"Don't call me mommy, don't call me mommy. I hate you. If your father won't even be mine then you are useless to me. You understand?!" After that Bea left. The maids immidiately walk near Lander and lift up his s.h.i.+rt only to see his body covered in red. It was not the first time that Bea throws a fit that only ends up her hitting her own child like it was not her own. They pity Lander cause his mother couldn't give him the love that he wanted. Bea was only good to him when in front of the camera or other people but when no one was watching the warmth that she's been giving him will turn into an ice cold treatment which in normal circ.u.mstances it's as if he the child never exist.
