Amber And Her Wolves 43 Chapter 43 Meeting The Council

I woke up with my brothers in my head asking where I was. I sat up and stretched. Kane was gone but he had left his number on a piece of paper explaining that he had to get back to his pack and out of the territory before someone found him. I understood that. I realised that I had to get back to meet the council. Apparently they were already there waiting for me. s.h.i.+t. I put the note in my pocket and s.h.i.+fted. I ran back as fast as I could because I wasn't really in a hurry to get back. I saw the council with my brothers and Daniel in the garden. I walked up to them and sat by my brothers. Daniel saw me and laughed. 'Amber s.h.i.+ft back now. And why do you smell of a male?' Drew said through our mind link. The council saw me and didn't look impressed. I rolled my eyes and s.h.i.+fted back. I stood in between my brothers looking unimpressed. The council was exactly how I thought it would be. Old men in robes trying to control powerful people. I folder my arms across my chest waiting for them to say something. "I am the wolf representative of the council you may call me council member Wolf." The old man in the middle said. My brothers looked annoyed at his presence. I didn't say anything and waited for him to continue. "Are you a mute Amber?" The old man asked.

"No I'm not a mute. I'm just wondering why I'm here instead of at my pack doing what I need to do." I replied looking him dead in the eyes. Daniel and my brothers were holding back their laughing whilst the council members looked offended. "I am the only reason you are still alive missy. One word and I can have you killed. But since I have just found out you're a white wolf, you would more likely be sold to the highest bidding alpha." He said with an evil glint in his eye. I growled at his words whilst my brothers held me back. I calmed down and pulled away from my brothers. "I've met the council so can I go now. I have things to do." I asked my brothers. They sighed. I knew that they didn't want to be here either. Even Daniel looked annoyed now. I think it was the mention of me being killed or sold to the highest bidder that annoyed him. "Council member Wolf I think you need to leave my territory now. Amber is a close family friend and threatening her is a bad idea. If you have anything else to discuss please make a meeting, goodbye." Harvey said also looking very annoyed at the council members. Knowing that they were now defeated they left saying that they would make a meeting to discuss what happened at the party. Rose asked if I was ok and asked what happened last night. We left the boys talking amongst them selves and went to the rose garden. I told her what happened from the conversation with Daniel last night to what had happened just now. I told her how I met my second chance mate last night and how we stayed up talking and how he laid next to me and never once tried anything. The perfect gentleman. Rose laughed when I was explaining his scent. She said that now I know how it feels to have a mate. She asked his name and when I told her, her face paled slightly. I carried on telling her about his hybrid powers and she told me she had something to tell me about my mate. I looked at her with a confused look. "Listen, you meet Kane Thunder, Alpha Dominic Thunders son. The same Alpha who killed your parents." She told me. I started to shake my head. "No, it can't be. He was so nice and kind. How could he be that monsters son?" I asked. Rose tried to say something but I stood up. I told her I needed to think about this and teleported home to my room. I looked at the phone number n my pocket. Kane's number. My second and last chance of having a mate. What was I going to do?
