The white smoke began to fade away gradually until it dissipated completely.

At this time, she heard a series of footsteps outside the door. She wanted to hide under the bed, but her legs hadn’t recovered from the knockout incense.

When she could move, the door had been pushed open, and Xia Houkun came in.
