Many were shocked to learn how much influence Lu Xuan possessed.

The Maoshan Sect was of the true lineage of the Shangqing, and the sect had great influence among the cultivators of Huaxia. Despite this, such a ma.s.sive and renowned sect was forced to make a move against their overseas rite, all because Lu Xuan told them to do so.

In the process, four Airborne Realm cultivators from both rites of the sect met their demise.

The Airborne Realm cultivators were known to be the best among the best throughout the world, with every single one of them lauded to be at the very cutting edge of cultivation. The death of every single one of them was enough to cause a huge commotion.
