Dark Angel Zuo didn’t stop them but adjusted his aim right at Su Huiqing’s jet. That raspy voice held a hint of laughter.

Su Huiqing maneuvered her fighter jet, expertly dodging the attacks.

“Let’s jump into the ocean. We can’t dodge forever.” Dugu Yusheng suggested. “We don’t have any ammunition and cannot fight them off.”

Dugu Yusheng took out a device without another word.

With one hand, Su Huiqing steered the plane and dodged another attack. With the other, she called Chi Yue. “It’s me.”

She calmly told him her location.

The communications device went silent for a moment.

Seconds later, a voice came through. It was not Chi Yue.

The voice was hoa.r.s.e, extremely cold, calm and steady. “Alright.”

Su Huiqing was stunned.

Dark Angel Zuo’s chilly voice drifted over. “Su Huiqing and that Dugu fellow, the two of you will never escape.”

He then activated the cannon gun.

No fighter plane would be able to dodge all of them.

Nevertheless, at this moment, a low, cool voice seemed to explode across the sky. “Dark Angel Zuo, this is my gift to you.”

“Drop the ropes.” He pressed his earpiece and instructed Chu Xuning. Narrowing his eyes, he then tossed the rope over to Dugu Yusheng. “Grab hold of it!”

Su Huiqing’s heart finally relaxed when she saw him land safely. Her expression was stern. “Do you want to die?!”

With one final tug, Chi Yue and the gang managed to pull them on board!

“Bingo!” Chu Xuning called out in excitement.

Yu s.h.i.+jin lowered his eyes to look at Su Huiqing. No one could tell what he was thinking. He suddenly s.h.i.+fted his gaze toward Dark Angel Zuo’s fighter jet. “Blow him up. Blow him up to the high heavens.”
