Niedern nodded and said, “Good, you can still smile. That means that there's too little pressure on you.”

Su Ye placed the Magic Cow Rope onto the carpet, then took a deep breath.

An image surfaced in his mind a moment later. The leaf of the Tree of Magic suddenly became gigantic, as large as a planet. Then, blue liquid seeped into the Magic Array on the leaf.

The Magic Array was like an ocean, while the Magic Power was like a raging current.

After the Magic Power flowed through the Magic Array on a predetermined path, the entire Magic Array suddenly erupted with blinding light.

An intense column of white light shot out of the Magic Tower and up into the sky, to the very tip of the mental world.

This series of events might seem to have developed slowly, but it only took about two seconds.

Su Ye felt a warm current course through the center of his brows. It was more than a hundred times stronger than the warm current he felt before.

Su Ye instinctively raised his right hand and extended his index finger toward the Magic Cow Rope.

An alarming scene ensued. The Magic Cow Rope slowly reached up as if it was alive. It was like a long snake.

An indescribable feeling welled up in Su Ye's heart when he saw this scene. He did not expect to truly control the rope. He had learned to grasp real magic!

Then, Su Ye continuously moved his right index finger. The Magic Cow Rope was like an obedient magic servant. It moved as Su Ye guided right before his eyes.

“Wonderful.”

Su Ye instinctively entered a state of observation. He sensed the condition of his body with his heart and used his eyes to observe the changes to the Magic Cow Rope. This was an ability that he had slowly mastered after he had engaged in meditation for a long time.

Niedern let out a soft gasp when he saw this scene. “To think that while you are an idiot when it comes to studies, you are a genius when it comes to meditation.”

The Magic Cow Rope fell onto the ground.

Su Ye turned to look at Niedern and said, “Teacher, you cannot be like Hutton!”

At this moment, Niedern suddenly flipped open his spellbook, opened a magic message, and read it.

Su Ye waited silently.

Sometime later, Niedern stared at Su Ye.

Every hair on Su Ye's body stood as he sensed the caution and suspicion in Niedern's gaze.

Niedern was a Gold Mage.

“Teacher… What's going on?” Su Ye's question amplified the anxiety in his heart.

“There's too big a difference between the current you and the past you. If not for the fact that you could enter the Plato Academy safely and walk past the Sea Demon Fountain, as well as the fact that you have been thoroughly investigated, I would have suspected you of having another soul deposited within your body.”

Su Ye let out a long sigh. “I knew that I had become different from the seventh day my parents died.”

Niedern said sympathetically, “I understand. There are too many people throughout history who have had their talents activated after being subjected to agitation. Hercules, for example. His abilities improved tremendously after he suddenly turned manic and accidentally killed his teacher. He then accidentally killed his wife and son, as well as his best friend, but he is now hailed as the Hero King. Unfortunately, everyone suspects him. They even think of him as the “Crazed Demon” who killed his friends. However, every mage could guess that he had been cursed.”

“Who cursed him?” Su Ye asked, pretending to be casual.

Niedern shook his head as he said, “Our guess that it was a person who was at least at the level of a DemiG.o.d. Perhaps from Greece or maybe from some other country.”

This incantation would have five syllables if said using a normal language, but it only had three when used in an incantation. Furthermore, the intonation of every syllable sounded normal, but every syllable would convert itself into a complete sentence in his head.

Su Ye could not understand what the three sentences meant for the time being. He only had the faint sense that the incantation seemed to be made up of three sections, which served to command a mysterious power. Control the mysterious power, and you'll activate the mysterious power, respectively.
