The Crown Prince was both shocked and afraid.

He had been the prince for 20 years and had been managing all the official government matters. Emperor Tianqi stood high above and it seemed like he wasn't doing much but a single sneeze from him was much more powerful than anything this Crown Prince tried to do.

From one Crown Prince down to him, he felt like he was finally going to gain a chance. But reality gave him a merciless slap.

Emperor Tianqi was planning on giving up the throne when he was 15,000 years old!

When the Crown Prince heard this news, he was stunned. He didn't want to go anywhere else and just went home to vent his anger.

"You must calm down, otherwise, you will ruin the plan." The old man raised his voice.

The Crown Prince sighed and stopped behaving like a mad man.

"Crown Prince, we aren't sure whether or not that thing is real. Even if it is, what else can we do other than accept it?" The old man persuaded.

The Crown Prince lowered his voice, "I am not willing to. If it is real, then we will have to wait 5,000 more years."

"I doubt it. To be a Crown Prince for 5,000 more years would be a historic feat." The old man shook his head and said.

"Sir, do you have something to teach me?" The Crown Prince said anxiously.

"Bear with it. You can only bear with it. With the current strength you have, you can't compete against His Majesty. If you make him angry, he might decide to change the Crown Prince." The old man said.

"Am I not bearing with it enough?" The Crown Prince pointed at himself and said.

"Crown Prince, kill those people you captured a while back. Don't leave them alive. They are just problems for us now." The old man said solemnly.

The other people said unhappily, "All the people the Crown Prince captured offended him, so what is wrong with locking them up?"

The Crown Prince frowned as he looked at the old man.

"How many of them offended the Crown Prince and how many of them were dragged down because you all tried to suck up to the Crown Prince? All of you should know really clearly. Crown Prince, since you already did it, then don't keep them alive. They will be a problem sooner or later." The old man said solemnly.

The Crown Prince nodded and said, "Since that is the case, then we should kill them all."

A warrior stood up and cupped his fist, "Kill them all?"

The Crown Prince didn't care much. "Of course, kill them all."

"Some of the people inside are real enemies. The Crown Prince wanted to torture them..." The warrior said solemnly.

"Kill them all, especially the person who gave me a green hat, kill him first. I don't want to see him." The Crown Prince pointed in rage.

"Yes, your highness!" The warrior cupped his fist and walked out.

"I am impressed that your highness is so decisive." The old man who made the suggestion said respectfully.

"Sir, your praise is unwarranted." The Crown Prince laughed out loud in delight.

His only problem was these few people; if he killed them all, then there wouldn't be any problems left. Unless he chose to give up his spot, Emperor Tianqi wouldn't do anything to him.

After all, the past few princes chose to give up by themselves and weren't forced to do so by the emperor.

The Crown Prince sent the most people in and many were innocent. Each time someone opened the gates to the jail, one would hear many tragic cries.

"How is my father and wife?" The guy was curled up and he asked as he thought about them.

"My child was born close to 10 years ago, but I don't know whether it's a boy or girl." The man thought about them.

His name was Tian Heng. He fought for 10 years and hadn't been killed. Instead, he had been captured by the Crown Prince and locked in this ice-cold prison, only to be beaten up every day.

He heard the nearby footsteps getting closer and closer. He didn't have any time to think and just shattered the watch.
