Chapter 100: Gourmet Town

Haru went back to his apartment and prepared his luggage. He kept everything in his body since he could open s.p.a.ce storage with his zipper power. He knew that this zipper power would be very useful in this situation. He was also wondering who should they invite for the next member in that world. He thought it was kind of nice to have female members to balance it.

"Alright, are you ready?" Haru wrote on the group chat.

"Good, I'm ready," Tsunade replied. She thought it was a good chance to have a vacation from her work and she didn't need to worry about anything since the time was stopped.

"I'm ready," Luffy replied.

Haru thought for a while and asked, "Luffy, did you bring anything?"

"I brought some gold that I found on the island," Luffy said.

"Good, you can use that and exchange it with money when we have arrived, you can use it to eat later," Haru said.

"Eat!!!" Luffy was excited.

"Good luck," Kuroneko said.

"Good luck +1," Gintoki said.

"Good luck +1," Yajima said.

"Alright, press [Yes] on the quest," Haru said.

Tsunade, Haru, and Luffy pressed the [Yes] b.u.t.ton on the quest together.

Suddenly a light engulfed three of them and made everything stop.

Haru was very dizzy but he could hear someone voice beside him.

"I'm dizzy! I'm dizzy!"

"d.a.m.n, it's very uncomfortable."

Haru opened his eyes while he healed himself. He looked there were both Luffy and Tsunade beside him, "Hey."

Luffy also noticed him, "Haru!" He looked around and saw a woman, "Tsunade?"

Tsunade nodded, "This is the first time we have met each other Luffy." She turned her attention toward him and smiled, "Haru, you've got a lot of fans in my world."

Haru rubbed his nose and wasn't sure how to respond since it was hard to do an inter-dimension relations.h.i.+p, "Let's talk about that later, first, we need to do something."

"Yeah, let's eat!" Luffy said.

"No, we need to have info gathering," Tsunade said.

Haru shook his head, "No, what Luffy said is true, let's eat, I'm sure we can get a lot of information in the restaurant."

"Yes, let's eat meat!" Luffy said.

"Let's exchange our money first," Tsunade said.

"Good," Haru nodded.

Three of them went together and asked someone whether there was a place to change money.

"Excuse me, can I ask you something?" Haru asked.

"Yes?"

Haru decided to ask a random man on the street.

He is light-skinned with slightly long black hair and keeps some of his hair brushed over his left eye, around his head, he always wears an orange turban which has a blue crescent design printed on the right side. His outfit normally consists of a simple blue-colored long-sleeved s.h.i.+rt with orange edges along with a pair of blue pants and brown shoes.

"I'm sorry for bothering you, three of us are from the countryside, can you tell us about the name of the nearest town? Also, can you tell us where the information center is?" Haru asked. He wasn't that worried when this man was trying to cheat or deceive him since he had two monsters beside him. He also could hypnosis him to follow his order.

"Oh, you don't know about this place?" the man was a bit surprised.

"Is it really that surprising?" Haru asked.

He smiled and shook his head, "No, of course not, let me help you."

"Thank you, my name is Haru," Haru said.

"My name is Luffy," Luffy smiled.

"Tsunade," Tsunade answered.

He smiled at them and didn't really mind the woman, "My name is Takimaru, I'm a Gourmet Knight."

"Gourmet Knight?" They t.i.tled their heads at the same time.

Takimaru was a bit embarra.s.sed when he saw that they didn't know anything, "Hmm, let me explain later while we're going to the information center."

"Good," they nodded at the same time.

Four of them walked together while Takimaru explained to them about the town in front of them.

Haru, Luffy, and Tsunade were amazed since this town was very big and they had never seen such a crowded place.

"This is Gourmet Town, every day there are at least 25 million people walking into this place," Takamaru explained.

"25 million people!!!!"

Takimaru really thought that three of them were really from the countryside.

They walked together while talking about the town and his job.

The Gourmet Knights are an order of Gourmet Hunters that follows a strict "Gourmet Doctrine" which states: "to entrust one's life completely to nature". This means shunning man-made medicines or anything else that would normally not be found in nature or is completely artificial.

Haru who listened thought it was kind of similar to religion but it was more into the food since this world food was everything.

Luffy had drooled when he entered this town since he smelled the really good aroma, "Meat!!!"

Haru hurriedly caught him, he changed his fingers into the zipper and trapped him, "We can eat later, let's exchange our money first."

Luffy didn't listen but he couldn't do anything.

Takimaru, who looked at his fingers which could turn into a long metal couldn't help but be shocked. He looked at them and asked, "Who are you guys?"

"Hmm, you can say that we're doctors," Tsunade answered.

"Doctor?" Takimaru looked at them with a strange expression. He shrugged his shoulders and didn't think much after that since it wasn't his problem.

"What are you doing here, Takimaru?" Luffy, who couldn't escape, decided to ask since he was a bit bored.

"Hmm? Me? I'm going to join the Century Soup Expedition," Takimaru answered.

Three of them were surprised and shouted, "CENTURY SOUP!!!!"
