Chapter 211: Going to the Capital

As much as Noah was very happy to see Maggy having fun at home with his monsters, even playing with the unicorn who had adored the little girl who had a great talent for controlling fire, Noah knew this would be temporary.

Staying in the city of Eyrin was the safest place, since with his current strength there were hardly any people to challenge him. However, even though his and his family's life were not at any in that place, Noah's heart yearned for adventures.

He liked to develop, to get stronger, to level up, to discover the secrets of the world, and of course, to no longer have to be afraid of the Blessed Ones who were more powerful than he. However, he would still have to work hard to achieve this goal, since there were still Blessed Rank B and A that could arise at any time and put his life at risk.

So the most logical thing to do would be to move to the capitol and continue to develop his own strength. And the best way to do that would be with the contact he already had: Marcel.

At that moment Marcel was coming to Noah's house so that they could go to the capital together.

Maggy was playing with Terrence and the Unicorn, while Lilith was watching television, and Noah was thinking about what happened these past few days.

After Carlos had invaded the first Fortress with them, he decided to sign up for a late blessing a.s.sessment. This was something that rarely happened, but there were already previous precedents. The oldest person to receive a Blessing was a 67-year-old woman.

But this was extremely rare, to the point that there was only one case on the entire planet every 5 to 10 years. The last one to happen was 6 years ago, so it was not so surprising that Carlos came up like that. People were surprised, but not so much.

His Blessing hardly leaked any aura, which made it difficult to a.n.a.lyze the Blessing ranking, but because of the strength that his flames showed even though he awoke a few days ago, the government cla.s.sified his Blessing as Rank B, which was already incredible, especially for a small town like Eyrin.

This attracted a lot of attention to the boy, who as a good businessman took the chance to enter some circles of influential people and spread rumors about the Oni who was renting imps, even going so far as to summon the imp he had in order to impress people and make them wish for such a monster to become theirs as well.

This resulted in Noah getting a few more customers who rented 11 more imps from him, that is, he now had 20 rented imps which yielded a stable source of money and exp for him daily, as well as 1 imp with Carlos and 1 imp with Maggy for protection of both of the two.

Noah even wanted to leave more imps with Maggy, at least 5, but as she wouldn't publicly show that she already had a Blessing, she convinced Noah to keep the 8 imps for his own protection within the most powerful Fortresses he was going to invade, since she knew that the higher the ranking of the Fortresses, the more dangerous the monsters would be than the previous ones. Noah eventually, albeit reluctantly, accepted.

At that time, there was nothing in the city of Eyrin that interested Noah. The Fortresses were already very easy and yielded little Exp and money for him, not to mention that it would be impossible for him to get much essence in these weaker Fortresses.

Noah knew that his [h.e.l.l Flames] was able to absorb some statistics from the people he burned. He wanted to absorb an essence to see if the result would be similar, or if something different could happen.

The doorbell rang and Noah knew it was Marcel.

"Ready for the move?" Marcel asked Noah with a smile as he held out his hand.

Noah shook Marcel's hand with a small smile and answered, "Yes, the baggage is already in the car."

This surprised Marcel. "Are you just going to take this?" He asked.

"I will leave the house intact for when we want to go back for a vacation. I want to leave the house as my mother had left it for us," Noah replied. "When we arrive in the capital, I plan to buy new clothes and rent or buy a furnished house. It will be easier."

"Hehe, being Blessed with a high ranking looks like it was good for your finances, huh?" Marcel laughed.

"Sure hehe." Noah agreed, without saying that most of his money came from the imps.

By that time the rental of imps had already made a lot of money, to the point that even with paying Carlos a percentage and giving Maggy a big allowance to buy what she wanted, Noah still had more than $130,000 in his bank account.

That money would be enough for him to rent a comfortable apartment for himself and Maggy to live in the capital. Even if the cost of living there was very high, for a Blessed person who would soon become Rank C, it would not be a problem.

After a little conversation, Noah called Maggy and the three traveled to the capital in Noah's luxury car.

Carlos had decided that he would stay in the city of Eyrin until he reached Rank D as a Blessed as well, which would not take so long because of the system he now had. The capitol city was quite distant from the city of Eyrin, so it took them 6 hours driving at high speed to get there. However, when they arrived the environment surprised the siblings, but even more Noah than Maggy.

Not only was the city much larger than the city Eyrin, which already had a population of a few million living there, but the luxury was visible throughout the city.

Noah's car, which was extremely attractive in the city Eyrin, here in the capital was apparently just above average after he compared it with the various luxury cars he saw pa.s.sing through the city.

"Amazed by the luxury of the city, right?" Marcel asked with a knowing smile. "This is normal for those visiting the capital. The number of high-ranking Blessed people here is quite high because of the large families always hiring promising Blessed Ones from the smaller cities."

What Marcel said was proven by Noah when he paid attention to the aura that the people of the city had and he could feel that the Blessed Rank E were like the ordinary people of the city Eyrin, while some Blessed Rank D could be seen walking from time to time between those people.

Noah even saw two Blessed Rank Cs driving cars that cost millions while racing through the city. Blessed like them would be almost kings in the smaller cities, but here they weren't even that rare.

But something that Noah had not seen until now was Blessed Rank B. As much as Blessed Rank C appeared impressive, Noah felt no Blessed Rank B, showing that even in the capital where it was easier to find talent, this rank was still very rare.

"I'm starving. Let's go to a restaurant that I like to go to with some friends. After that we can go to the Khan family headquarters to establish their affiliation and sign the contract," Marcel said as he put the restaurant's location on the GPS for Noah to head there.

"s.h.i.+t... I know that car..." Marcel commented as he saw a s.h.i.+ny green Lamborghini parked outside. "I hope this idiot has matured."
