Chapter 233: Messenger from h.e.l.l

"Does it taste good, Princess?" Noah asked Maggy with a smile on his face.

"It is delicious!!" Maggy replied happily, while devouring the filet of the parmigiana that Noah had cooked for them.

Seeing his sister's expression of satisfaction, Noah's smile widened even more. Yesterday he had invaded another Fortress with the captain of the previous team and the other Blessed Rank C. As the captain already knew of Noah's strength, this time he delegated more responsibilities to him. Noah did not refuse, after all, more responsibilities meant more rewards.

As in the first Fortress, Noah had received 400 merit points, which meant more essences for Maggy to burn, which made the little girl very happy after seeing her brother return with another orb.

But sometimes happiness can be short lived…

** Ring, ring ring ring ring **

Noah's phone rang, which surprised him, since nowadays hardly anyone would call the other. Usually people would just send a message if it wasn't something important.

But as he was getting a call, Noah watched and took out his cell phone.

Seeing that the sender was Carlos, Noah was a little less concerned. After all, Carlos occasionally called to tell Noah the things he had accomplished with the system he had received from Noah.

And of course, Noah already knew this in advance, since Carlos's system was a sub-system of his own, which meant that part of the Exp that Carlos received came to Noah.

"Wa.s.sup bro," Noah answered the phone talking casually.

But unlike Noah's carefree tone, Carlos' voice was clearly more strained. "Noah, I need help!"

Hearing this, Noah quickly got up from his chair and asked. "What happened?!"

"s.h.i.+t, it's hard to answer on the phone. How quickly can you come here?" Carlos asked, a little uncertain.

"Don't worry, I'm heading to you now." Noah responded quickly before getting up and picking up the car keys.

"Maggy, don't miss school. I might be gone for a few days," Noah said quickly.

"Noah, what happened to Carlos? I want to help!" she said impatiently.

"I don't know either, but I can't take you. I don't want to put you in danger, princess," Noah said with a caring tone, as he took the things he would need.

Without responding to Noah, Maggy quickly ran to the car and sat in the pa.s.senger seat. "I will help! Let me burn everyone!" she screamed as she ran.

Noah looked at her in surprise. Only now did he realize that perhaps Maggy had a slight trace of pyromania, but that was not something he could be worried about now.

Based on what he saw in the Fortress he invaded with Carlos and Maggy, he knew that Maggy really did have a bit of strength that could be useful to help in the battle, but he couldn't bear to think about taking Maggy to a dangerous place. "No, Maggy, you will stay!"

"Carlos is also my older brother, I'm going! Don't worry Noah; if it's too dangerous, I'll hide, okay?" she said as she s.h.i.+fted from an expression of anger to an expression of a lost puppy that fell out of the moving truck.

Seeing those eyes, Noah knew he had lost the battle. "Okay... but promise me that if I tell you to hide, you will hide and you will not put yourself in danger."

"Pinky promise," Maggy said with a sweet smile as she extended her littlest finger to Noah.

If it weren't for such a hectic situation, Noah would have sat down with her and convinced her to stay, but hearing Carlos' tone, Noah knew something urgent was going on, so his mind was just focused on going to help Carlos.

When he realized he was heading to the car, Noah realized that it would be inefficient. If he wanted to go to the other city in the shortest possible time, the best way would be neither the car nor flying, but asking for help from his new friend.

"Unicorn, please, I need your help..." Noah summoned the unicorn and explained the situation.

"Okay, I'm indeed faster than these machines called cars. I'll take you; come with me," the unicorn said in a serious way, understanding the urgency of the current situation.

Quickly Noah put the armor on himself and held Maggy on his lap while riding on the unicorn. Going from one city to another riding the unicorn, they took at least 20% less time to travel. Compared to a car that could travel at 400 km / h, the Rank C unicorn had its advantages.

Noah quickly guided the unicorn to Carlos' house and when he got there, Noah noticed some black cars parked around the building.

Seeing a strange horse and a fire rider approaching at high speed, several men got out of their cars and aimed guns, bows, and swords at Noah.

Noah did not worry about these men and teleported with Maggy and the unicorn inside Carlos' house. After all, Noah knew this big mansion as well as he knew his own house, and he had already come here several times.

But just like the outside, the interior of the house was also filled with armed men. In addition to several Blessed wearing powerful armor.

When they saw the strange fire horse and a powerful rider mounted on the monster's back, they all quickly drew their own weapons and pointed them at Noah.

Noah didn't know what the situation was, but seeing people so hostile at his friend's house, Noah wouldn't stop and talk to try to understand what was going on. Without saying a word, Noah summoned all 8 imps he had available and set up an aura of fire to protect Maggy on his lap.

Seeing the scene of a strange fire knight appear in front of them, and feeling the pressure of that knight, the Blessed and security guards around him became even more tense. They knew that this person in front of them was very powerful, to the point that no one had the confidence to deal with this man.

In the eyes of these men, a messenger from h.e.l.l had just arrived and had announced the death of everyone there.
